I'm pretty sure at this point having sex with someone in Modesto is like having sex with half the freaking town considering how a lot of these girls seem to have multiple baby daddies which suggests a lot of relationships and very little protection. What is it Jess and Kallie both say? "Just look at me and I'll scheme to get pregnant to trap you?"

Chris shoves the box upstairs only to find out it's the couch they ordered, so he shoves the box back downstairs and goes to assemble the couch, only to find that Addie pooped through her footies

Girls night at the house with Jess, Lilia, and Alyna (and technically Addie). Lilia mentions that there is one boy left (Chris).
Lilia and Alyna talk about why they don't like boys
Jess says no boys until 32 and Alyna hilariously replies with 13 or 18
Alyna says a boyfriend is when you get married to a girl
Who put it in an almost 7 year old's head about gay relationships and marriage? I see nothing wrong with the concept, but to someone who isn't even 7 yet?

About the same sex relationships thing, I think it's great that she's informed. It may have been on the news, discussed in school or just in her home life. But it's good for kids to know same sex couples can marry and stuff because a) if the child ends up not being straight they're not unaware and will probably feel more comfortable and b) it probably leads to less homophobic kids/future adults. I see nothing wrong with someone telling their child "when you grow up you can marry whoever you want, boy or girl."

That's a good point. My saying that wasn't really a criticism so you handled it the way I was hoping someone would, haha. I only have an almost 2 year old but I thought 7 would be a little young for that kind of talk... I wasn't planning on that talk until like 10!

Haha yeah I'm not offended or anything, I just like to have discussions. But why would that be a "talk"? A more appropriate talk may be the violence and discrimination same sex couples face, which yes you should probably save for when kids are a bit older. But if young kids can grasp that mommy and daddy love each other and can get married, I guarantee they can grasp that two mommies or two daddies can do the same. The earlier the better, in my opinion.

I dunno though. When I was 18, I saw a documentary called Babies, and there was a scene in Namibia where the mother breastfed a child who wasn't hers. Then again, they don't have the same technology as we do to pump the milk and donate it. I honestly think it's a western perspective that feeding another woman's child from the breast is "gross," so I'm not saying that's wrong for people to find it disgusting (I'm honestly a little skeptical myself because I wouldn't want another woman- even one of my sisters- to breastfeed my child). If everyone involved is comfortable, fine.

I do think Jesss is obsessed with bf, and I would side eye her if she bf someone else's baby. Natalie's life is not videoed daily, but maybe she is obsessed with it as well. I didn't plan on talking to my 5 year old about same sex marriages but he seen 2 men kiss at the store and asked about it. It was pretty simple to explain, he knows mommy and daddy love each other. I explained to him that men can love men, and woman can love women the way that mom and dad love each other.
