I honestly feel like they'll mention something pricey to Missy and Bryan in hopes that it will be paid for...and out of love of proving money (and possibly caring), they always do it. I really feel like they take advantage of Missy and Bryan's wealth...it rubs me the wrong way. M&B aren't great, but they shouldn't be taken advantage of by their only actual friends.

That's probably why they delayed it. They were waiting for the lumps to offer to pay for it. Newborn sessions are usually within 10 days so baby is still really sleepy. It's pretty unheard of to wait until they are almost a month old for no good reason.

I'm so glad they released the tongue tie...but now we'll have to hear whining about how Juniper hates the tongue exercises or how they're so sad because she's in pain or whatever. "My looove it's so sad when my little love cries! Awwww!!!"

Can you imagine them EVER saying 'no, we don't need a big house or a fancy car - it's not good for the environment'. No way. They obviously have expensive tastes (look at the amount of money they spend on food!), and this hipster/crunchy thing is just a way to feel superior for being 'natural' without actually committing to anything like boycotting certain brands, possibly a vegan/vegetarian diet, not eating soy or palm oil, volunteering/protesting, etc. - you know, things that people who actually care might do.
I agree. I think they're seething under the surface that they're poor (by their standards) because they, especially Corbin, is such an entitled man child that he'd rather give out the image of a pretend (fake) hipster than a run of the mill up front 'poor' person. Like calling the goodwill second hand clothing shop 'vintage.' He's so transparent it's painful, and embarrassed that he's not rich like Missy and Bryan but he's more fucked off about it than embarrassed.

It really is gross how they (honestly I think mostly Corbin) is exploiting his newborn daughter. They are basically making a living off her. I hate to work, poor me. I want to be like the Daily Lumps. Let's Truman Show our kid for income!
It makes me so mad when these YTers use clickbait regarding medical conditions for their children/pregnancies. I lost my baby at 23 weeks due to a fatal heart defect, and I know so many families plagued with actual life threaten medical conditions. Using these titles as clickbait is just so insensitive. I know K&C aren't the only ones who do it. (Ahem, DB "deformity")

Reality check for Corbin at the end of the video. He's dazed and overwhelmed with being responsible for June's tongue tie recovery...it's normal to feel that way and a normal parental emotion. Good to see and I hope it's an eye opener that parenting is full of real responsibilities that don't involve food, wine, and milkshakes.

I think it is the dwindling Youtube views and massive unsubscribing that are giving them the wakeup call. Viewers were really turned off for all the whining and drama.

I think it's a combo of those things and how pissy they are about ANY criticism, even if it comes in the form of genuinely helpful advice (like the babywearing thing) that starts with 'i love your channel and think you guys are great parents but maybe consider...'. Having a section where you regularly rant about how shitty your subscribers are and make bitchy little comments is NOT the way to be successful on youtube. Look at how much hate Daily Bumps get and do they ever address it? No! Because arguing with commenters would just make them look overly sensitive and pathetic which is exactly how Corbin comes across.

edit: ok i left a comment about them not being sustainable on one of their videos from a week or so ago (which i NEVER do) and i'm dying to see if it makes it into Corbin's Butthurt Comments.

I doubt it. Corbin will never address a comment that is actually constructive.
He only addresses comments that are written by 12 year olds Image

I thought it would be Corbin's family coming to visit - it's been a month and they live the same distance away as Kelsey's family. I don't think I could keep my parents (especially my mom) from visiting even a week after baby arrives.

Thank you. I thought the comment was so stupid. Her birthday is the 8th, so she won't be one month old until the 8th of April. She's one of those idiots who thinks there are only 4 weeks in a month. She probably thinks a pregnancy is 10 months long as well Image

Another day, another car trip. Seriously, when you look on Socialblade and see how much $$ these two idiots are making for this rubbish .. we should all be putting ourselves out there. Surely you don't become this dumb by just pointing a camera at yourself. Am I the only one who wants to leave a comment and tell them to just stop. For the sake of the Internet just STOP!

Missy did. She kept saying she'd been pregnant with Finn for 10 months. So it would not surprise me in the least if Kelsey thought that too. 40 weeks=10 months. Riiiight.

Steps to Wander: Natural Disaster

With all due respect, lunar months were the standard LONG before calendar months. And since menstrual cycles and reproduction are counted by the medical community in lunar months, I'd say counting pregnancy in lunar months is perfectly acceptable. It's accurate, not just a way to exaggerate for sympathy points.

I do wonder how much they are making now. Even by the middle range of the SocialBlade estimates they certainly hit the jackpot just by having a baby. YIKES! It really sends a crazy message that baby = YT success. Granted, all these huge views might go away as they continue to be boring and rely on click-bait titles.

It's true, but what's the point? Women who insist pregnancy is ten months long are only saying it for sympathy, not to be accurate.

Plus, the first two(ish) weeks of pregnancy the woman is not actually pregnant, so at best it would be nine and a half lunar months, anyway.

But that's why these particular women use it-- especially Missy. Sympathy. Just like she was in labor for two weeks, and Kelsey was in labor for what did she say, 42 hours? Something like that.

VidIQ tends to run a bit more accurate as far as income estimates.
These are the stats on their channel. Remember, about 30% of that goes to fullscreen, depending on their contract. Obviously they have sponsorships and babyleague earnings, but they aren't making money hand over fist. (For comparison, DB makes about 84k monthly, according to vidIQ, not counting their other channels or brand deals)
