But she isnt.... She would be sitting in the waiting room while the doctors were saving the life. It goes by priority not how long you have been there. Just because you watched season 1 of Greys Anatomy doesnt mean you know everything and honestly, why are you getting so worked up by it?
If Jess came in with Addie and there was a GSW she would be waiting until the doctors were done with the GSW, the GSW patient would not be bleeding to death in the waiting room while the doctors weighed Addie. Even if a real medical emergency came in in the middle of Addie being looked at they would tell Jess she had to wait because someone took priority. I worked in an ER it isnt that big of a deal. Again, this isnt Greys Anatomy.. You arent getting gun shots and "real medical emergencies" all day every day. The majority of it is sick people who need antibiotics.

100% agree. How do we not know that Jess called the GP and they said they were unable to get her in??? I have been to many pediatric ERs before and it was mostly sick kids....maybe one who needed stitches but that was it.
Everyone needs to stop acting like the ER only has one doctor and that they wouldn't take someone who was dying over addie. Cuz news flash, THEY WOULD!!!!

Exactly! We weren't there, we don't know every step she took before going to the ER. Just because she may not have mentioned calling her GP/pedi doesn't mean it didn't happen. Hmm, kinda like how she doesn't mention Drake seeing the boys or throwing Landen a birthday party and yet he does/did...

Why is she taking Addie to the ER totally unnecessary.. Take her to her pediatrician or urgent care.. Growing up my pediatrician office would always take you the same day if you were sick I feel like every trashy mom I know runs her kid to the ER for every little thing

I'm still trying to get caught up, so sorry if this has already been mentioned, but if she has Medicaid (medi-Cal in California) they cover ER visits 100%.
I'm positive that's why.
I mean she was just rushing to get Adsense into the doctor's office a few vlogs back for minor symptoms.

Add to that, I'm sure Addie felt bad, but she sure didn't seem listless as Jess stated.

When the nurse announced Addie's fever, Jess acted like she was surprised by that number.

Taking your kid to the ER for an ear infection is ridiculous, sorry. If Jess' pedi sent her she would have said that. I didn't watch the vlog but I'm pretty certain she would have mentioned that and no one here would be arguing about this if she did. Not sure why you have to give Jess the benefit of the doubt all the damn time considering the countless times she's shown how much of a fucking airhead she is.

She has taken her twice....your acting like she was there for a paper cut. There is no way to diagnose an ear infection at home. And what did you want her to do when he child stopped breathing? Just shrug it off??

When my child is sick, during the week, in the middle of the day I take him to his actual doctor. I don't go to emergency rooms. And if her child was possibly getting regular check ups and seeing her actual pediatrician her ear infection or cough could have been diagnosed and treated sooner.

As for the ER debate, I think its a bit silly to go to ER for a fever, unless the kid had a febrile seizure. You go to a clinic! A walk in clinic! Dont tell me California doesnt have those. Someone mentioned that in Canada you can go to the emergency to urgent care like a clinic, no go to a walk in clinic. This is why ER is so overcrowded, I work in a hospital and no we dont want people going in for minor things or things that can wait.

Why is it that every dumbass mom (not every mom) has to bring their kid into the ER for a basic stomach flu, ear infection, cold, or fever? That's not an emergency. If her fever was 104 or above, sure. That's expected. But you're bogging down the ER for people who are actually there for serious reasons. jesus fucking Christ, what an idiot. I understand she stopped breathing a couple months ago, but this looked like it was during daylight hours and could've been solved by a simpler trip to urgent care.

I don't know if she does it for the thumbnail or if she's really that selfish and uninformed. Even just yelping I saw dozens of Urgent care clinics in her area, opening as early as 7am and closing as late as 10:30pm. All these places take insurance, even if it's not under your hospital or GP. you pay your $40 copay or whatever at the desk and you're in. You're going to pay out the ass at the ER. These people should be fined for using the ER when it's obvious it's not an emergency.

Because she can't get views with URGENT CARE VISIT. JFC someone needs to give her a paper with the reasons you should visit urgent Care VS an ER.

Hey so I'm not defending Jess, but I live in California. I live somewhat close to where she is, and I am familiar with Modesto. I am almost positive that she took her to Sutter Health Express Care, which is an urgent care walk in clinic. I think she just said ER for views and $$$.

Also, to add to the Medical debate: I had MediCal when I had my son a few years ago. Sutter Health does not accept MediCal, or at least they didn't back then. She said that when she took Addie to the hospital for the sleep apnea, it was Sutter Health in Sac. That leads me to believe she does not have MediCal. Also, you cannot have more than a certain amount in assets to qualify, and since they have two cars, one of those cars would count as an asset. Just my two cents.

Walk in clinics are few and fair between where I live in Ontario, Canada. It is all very different than the states. There is one in the town I live in but you must be a patient of certain doctors to go there, the next closest one is probably 45-hour away?? and I dont live in the middle of nowhere.
I worked in emerge and never complained when someone brought their sick kid in.
