As for the ER debate, I think its a bit silly to go to ER for a fever, unless the kid had a febrile seizure. You go to a clinic! A walk in clinic! Dont tell me California doesnt have those. Someone mentioned that in Canada you can go to the emergency to urgent care like a clinic, no go to a walk in clinic. This is why ER is so overcrowded, I work in a hospital and no we dont want people going in for minor things or things that can wait.

Walk in clinics are few and fair between where I live in Ontario, Canada. It is all very different than the states. There is one in the town I live in but you must be a patient of certain doctors to go there, the next closest one is probably 45-hour away?? and I dont live in the middle of nowhere.
I worked in emerge and never complained when someone brought their sick kid in.

Wait, what? Where in Ontario are you in? I've lived in a few areas of Ontario (currently in St Catharines) and there are walk in clinics EVERYWHERE.
Every single grocery store here has a walk-in clinic inside, plus the actual doctors offices around here all have walk in sections. They're not hard to find at alllllll.
I also grew up in Manitoba and they were everywhere there, as well.

Did anyone see this yet? This was Jess' response to someone who asked why she'd go to the ER for a fever and mentioned she has seen people die waiting to be seen. I eyerolled so fucking hard at Jess' response. Her pedi was the last place she'd want to be? What? They would have fit her in because of her fever, but she instead wants to be a whiny, dramatic bitch and go to the ER anyway because she was butthurt about how they "treated her". Whyyy do people like this clown.

Yeah that was me. I never comment on her videos because I know I'll be attacked by her minions but sorry not sorry, I was furious. People go to the er for life threatening emergencies and I can only imagine people waiting for hours and here comes Jess who is looking more and more of an attention seeking whore, bringing in her baby for a dam ear infection, and getting in front of everyone because it's a baby. That's bullshit that she didn't take her to the doctor only because they have her shit for a homebirth. So basically, fuck everyone who is have pain and life threatening emergencies, she doesn't like being judged for her stupid decisions. And of course the minions had shit to say, I don't even care.

For real?! Im guessing you live in a small city, theres like 20 walk in clinics less than half an hr from me and I also live in Ontario, Im in Ottawa which isnt even that big compared to other places. I have a family dr but I never see them cause parking is annoying so I usually just go to a clinic for little things, never needed to be a patient or have an appointment and I know which clinics are less busy/which hrs are usually less crowded. I guess when youre used to having easy access to healthcare its hard to believe others dont

People. Just because she is a baby does NOT mean she cuts in front of everyone. It's by priority. A baby who has a 101 fever is not going to get in front of someone who has a more serious/life emergency.

Regarding walk in clinics in CA: I live here, there are tons. I got over 50 hits in Modesto. You can walk in with any health care insurance and you pay a normal copay. Some even have pharmacies in them. You don't need an appointment as they're urgent care-style. She's was 100% being drama.

She's also being extra about how her pediatrician treated her. Short story: yes, you are a Fuckin moron for thinking delay schedule vaccinations actually makes a difference. So, you totally deserved your doctors eye roll. I'm surprised jess didn't make a 30 minute video on delayed vaccination discrimination.
