Yeah that was me. I never comment on her videos because I know I'll be attacked by her minions but sorry not sorry, I was furious. People go to the er for life threatening emergencies and I can only imagine people waiting for hours and here comes Jess who is looking more and more of an attention seeking whore, bringing in her baby for a dam ear infection, and getting in front of everyone because it's a baby. That's bullshit that she didn't take her to the doctor only because they have her shit for a homebirth. So basically, fuck everyone who is have pain and life threatening emergencies, she doesn't like being judged for her stupid decisions. And of course the minions had shit to say, I don't even care.

People. Just because she is a baby does NOT mean she cuts in front of everyone. It's by priority. A baby who has a 101 fever is not going to get in front of someone who has a more serious/life emergency.

I totally agree you go to your local doctor for minor ailments , we also have nurses that can prescribe for minor things like a ear infection you don't even have to see a doctor unless you want to , she will pass you over if she feels it's more serious and needs a second opinion
You DEFINITELY don't need the ER for a minor ailment smh , your also right about the ER having life threatening situations they don't need to be dealing with that crap

Agreed she is full of it , firstly you can give ibuprofen from three months the baby one that is , plus if the fever doesn't subside you can give baby paracetamol after two hours to top it up because they do not clash and are different medications and work well together,
Secondly you're advised to sponge them down with tepid
Water on a wash cloth the evaporating process works really well to lower the temperature.
Let's run to the ER straight off ugh , I agree Addie needed antibiotics as babies rarely fight off a ear infection under one year but it was not an emergency

Not surprised she went straight to the ER, she probably thought it's something way more serious, since she mentioned that Addy had a bad cough. You could say Addy looked alright and not in danger, but I think Jess cannot think straight anymore when it comes to Addy. Everything connected with her was in some way worrysome, problematic, or even dangerous. Pregnancy, birth, unknown problematic sleep apnea, everything needs checking and double checking, so I think she went there, because she was worried it might be another incident where Addy needs to be taken to the hospital anyway. She was just overly careful.

Btw: where is her monitor? Shouldn't she be wearing it the majority of the time until she turns one? Or did I misunderstand that?

She did mention that she doesn't put it on when she's carrying her around, because she can tell that she breaths, but since she mentioned a severe cough I wondered where the monitor was.

As for the ER debate, I think its a bit silly to go to ER for a fever, unless the kid had a febrile seizure. You go to a clinic! A walk in clinic! Dont tell me California doesnt have those. Someone mentioned that in Canada you can go to the emergency to urgent care like a clinic, no go to a walk in clinic. This is why ER is so overcrowded, I work in a hospital and no we dont want people going in for minor things or things that can wait.

Walk in clinics are few and fair between where I live in Ontario, Canada. It is all very different than the states. There is one in the town I live in but you must be a patient of certain doctors to go there, the next closest one is probably 45-hour away?? and I dont live in the middle of nowhere.
I worked in emerge and never complained when someone brought their sick kid in.

Wait, what? Where in Ontario are you in? I've lived in a few areas of Ontario (currently in St Catharines) and there are walk in clinics EVERYWHERE.
Every single grocery store here has a walk-in clinic inside, plus the actual doctors offices around here all have walk in sections. They're not hard to find at alllllll.
I also grew up in Manitoba and they were everywhere there, as well.

Well Im not going to tell you where I live but the population is about 20,000 so definitely small but not the sticks. W have one clinic but you have to be a patient of the doctors affiliated there and even then its 9-5.
Anyway, this conversation is beating a dead horse. People joke about how the minions defend Jess no matter what but some people hate Jessica so much no matter what she could ever do they will pick it apart. There's snarking and then there is some of the people here... above and beyond.

That wasn't exactly my point. I understand if someone is dying, they won't take a sick baby first. But surely there are people there who could be in a lot of pain and had to wait longer because she got there with a baby and they took her first, when she could have very easily went to her pediatrician.
