So true. I don't even judge them for that, necessarily. It's more the fact that they have changed so dramatically since they started vlogging, yet they're still trying to maintain that image that they are just an average family going through life and dealing with the "bumps along the way." They suck all these little kids into their videos with toys and expensive stuff that just isn't reality, yet they play it off as if it is. It's deceptive. I don't really care how they spend their money (I mean, I think they are crazy for blowing through it when they could be set for life...) as much as I care about the lies and false image they portray.ja14 wrote:If I had the kind of money they had, I'm sure I would make some unnecessary purchases. But as a lot of you have said, they get the best of the best just because, they are so ignorant.

And I also think that while they can do whatever the heck they want with THEIR money, some of that money - most of it - belongs to Ollie and Finn. They would not have become nearly as popular without the kids, and the kids are the ones who are being filmed every day without their consent - so, they AT LEAST deserve to have their portion of the earnings still available to them once they are old enough to access it and decide how to use it. At the rate the Lumps spend, I would be surprised if there is enough left to send the kids to college! So I definitely judge them for making the decisions to spoil the crap out of themselves and those kids now, when that money could pay for something important and worthwhile down the road. New gadgets and hotel suites and fancy pools are fun now, but those kids have sacrificed privacy and a regular childhood for that money, and it should at least buy them things that will be worthwhile in the long run.
