Judging by the size of the new home is it assumed Katie will hire a maid/cleaner? I couldn't fathom keeping a place that size clean on my own. I guess they'll now have a built in babysitter in the future with Kelly and Jay's oldest.

Also, when folk say thay will now be in the club, what exactly does that mean? Do they get automatic membership to the country club or something? Or is it just the status symbol that club owners/members/neighbors see that you've 'made it' purely because of your address?

Their neighborhood has an actual country clubhouse with a Golf pro shop, tennis courts, aquatic center, gym, etc. It looks like you do have to pay additional to be a country club member as there is a membership director that can customize memberships.

I wonder if its the same aquatic center as where Cullen took Gaines to GrandBerry's neighborhood fancy pool?

They didn't have a "date" there. He drove her up to a lookoff point that was inside the CC. they technically weren't supposed to be there i dont think. lol It was in their draw my relationship video, he took her back there when he proposed. I also think they had some maternity pics made there when she was pregnant with MG.. could be wrong about that one though. but i thought i remembered them going back for some pictures.

There's a house that is almost 3,000 sq ft larger than the one they bought listed now. (It's massive) It is listed for a lot less than they paid for theirs.

I don't think that is the same country club. It doesn't have those same views. My guess is it was close to "The Club". Which is on top of red mountain.

Yeah, I'm not getting what is so great about this house that they thought it was worth almost 650K. Other than it's on the same street as Kelly and Jay, what made them choose it? There are plenty of homes of the same size or bigger, that don't need massive renovations, in the same school district, etc.

I think the house has potential. They are going to be filming.. have a growing family.. woods.. know the neighborhood .. gliw in the dark night golfing party vlogs.. haha my husband used to go play that with his buds. I just hope they step up the vlog game

they've been fleeced. you only need to look at the average cost of houses, for a house that needs an update despite the good bones. the condition clause to sell their old house probably made it difficult to ask to lower the price much at all. pretty foolish imo. oh well, their money not mine.

They'll have to spend well over $100,000 to renovate. The kitchen alone will be at least $50,000. I wonder why the previous owners are selling so soon? Did they intend to flip it and then realized it wasn't worth it? It hasn't even been a year since they bought it. It's still crazy to me that they're willing to move in needing so many renovations. Gaines had such a hard time when they were replacing the roof. That only took a couple of days. The major renovations they need will take many weeks. I imagine they'll move out during the renovations or the renovations will never happen.

I like looking at Houzz/homes etc and this is a beautiful home with a pool. I also like the privacy aspect. However, the backyard is mainly the pool area.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there are any plans for big renovations and they were going to change out gold fixtures was about it. I really don't think they see this home as being too outdated and it is comparable in home age as JK. I have seen homes where the original everything is in it from thirty years ago (wall paper/floors etc...) and the owners thinks this is fine.
