I wonder if that vitamin company is sponsoring them in some way.... Because those are the same vitamins and protein powder that C&K are using for Gaines recently. Idk...

[quote="franjigirl"]I'm concerned how Ollie falls asleep so much during the day, I have a son around his age and he doesn't even day nap anymore. Is this normal for a almost 4yr old to just fall asleep anytime during the day and seems like he's knocked out
When I was four years old, I stopped taking naps. Instead, I be waking up at 7. I bet they take Ollie to their grandparents when their shopping or films Ollie at a store just for the views. Half of their vlogs consists of them being in their house.
Whether it's related to his seizures, the side effect of a secret medication, or caused by the combination of a poor diet and inadequate sleep routine, Ollie's issues sleeping and waking are definitely seem abnormal.
The internet has this to say about naps: "By age 2, most toddlers have given up their morning nap but still need an afternoon snooze to see them through the day. About a quarter of kids stop napping altogether by the age of 3, another half between ages of 3 and 4, with the final quarter continuing to nap until they're 5 or 6."
So I guess we'll have to wait a few more years and see if he still takes his daily naps, but I do agree that the way he "knocks out" is a bit alarming.
I don't think the problem is with Ollie napping, but that it's so difficult to wake him up. That's worrisome to me. Some kids are heavy sleepers, but idk...the fact that they can carry him into a restaurant, eat dinner for an hour and a half, carry him to the car, then go home and he's still asleep...idk. That's just a little worrisome in my opinion. That's more of a newborn baby thing than a 4 year old thing.

Exactly this! It's not so much him taking a nap as the fact that he could sleep through anything. Much like someone that is sedated. At one of the conventions last year he slept through an entire dinner of about 20-30 loud youtubers and never even flinched. The way he sleeps through getting out of a car seat, flopped into a shopping cart, bumped through the parking lot... my kids would have never slept through that (and my son is a super heavy sleeper) Even when Bryan or Missy TRY and wake him, he rarely even stirs. It's concerning.
Missy is like "We had a meeting and our parents are so amazing they took care of the boys and now we are all going to Target".....yeah okay because that like NEVER happens hahaha let's see if they even use any of the grocery they purchased - I'm sure the chickens will be eating most of it! Ollie and his "chokit milk" obsession is not going anywhere because Big Ol Bryan has to always justify "he was sooooo good today so we gave him some" - I have to admit my fave part of the vlog was seeing Belle and the Beast holding guns....no there is nothing wrong with Ollie....welcome to the Dark Side.

Bc "ollie is really into them" meaning its easier to let him eat "candy" vitamins (i can see them being those parents who tell the kids it's candy.. HUGE NO NO) than it is to make him sit on his rear end and eat what they serve him. There is only so much nutrition in dino nuggets, easy mac, white bread, frozen pancakes and he occasional strawberry or orange slice.
I thought it was funny that they showed them buying all those greens for smoothies when we havent seen them make green drinks in months,(last one i remember seeing them make was in the old house) Don't lie Bryan, we know all that green stuff is really for the chickens, I haven't forgotten that big bowl of stuff they said was spoiled that they fed the chickens that looked as fresh as the day they bought it.
Didn't they give Ollie vitamins when he was younger and call them candy? I feel like I can recall him in the old house, standing on a step stool by the counter waiting for his "candy". Maybe that was another family.
This totally rings a bell with me as well now that you said that. I almost want to say that was the only way missy could get him to take them.

He's going to be knocking over liquor stores when he's 15, mark my words.

I just wonder if Caspian is still going to be driving the getaway car
I stopped watching SlyFox because I can't stand how bratty Caspian is!
When did you guys stop giving your children sippy cups like the ones Oliver drinks from??? I feel like he should have dropped those a year ago. Maybe I'm the weird one.

My daughter is two years old and she only uses sippy cups during the night since she would make a huge mess opening and closing a bottle
During daytime she drinks out of normal glasses.
You're not the weird one

I will occasionally give my almost four year-old a 360 cup if she is drinking something on the couch. Otherwise she uses regular cups or cups with a lid and straw.

At 7:30, it was Missy's suggestion

Missy is a dumbass. I'm pretty sure we learned that medication was not candy and that we should never call it that in 5th grade DARE.. lol (oops i forget Missy was on the compound when she was young, she didn't get to have DARE!!)
Also in that video, Ollie almost kills himself by falling through the rungs of the ladder on the playground while Bryan just films away from across the playground! Who lets their 2ish year old climb a 6-8+/- ladder without supervision? I'm surprised Ollie hasn't hurt himself any worse than he has, hes a lucky kid.

My 4 year old niece drinks from normal cups and cups with straws and has for years. My almost 2 year old nephew drinks from cups with straws and has ever since he's been able to use a straw. They must have Ollie addicted/used to sippy cups...and, knowing them, he'll still be using it when he's 30 because they can't say no to him nor can they let the child grow
Yeah i'm in agreement with everyone else, we graduated to real cups by 2. We still used sippy cups sometimes, like in the car or for a cup of water at bedtime. But for meals or just a drink during the day? Regular cups or a cup with a lid and straw.
I doubt Ollie has even mastered a "real" cup.
I think it's more to do with Missy not wanting her expensive restoration hardware couch stained. Remember her obsession with buying tons of sippy cups trying to find the perfect cup that doesn't spill. Plus Ollie is still a toddler, remember?
My son is 3.5 and hasn't used a sippy cup since shortly after he turned 3. My 17 month old uses a 360 cup.
Maybe they don't want us to see what Ollie is drinking, which is probably juice, pop and chocolate milk. Who wants to clean those spills up? If they gave him more water spills wouldn't be such a huge deal. When my kids are drinking somethjng other than water and aren't sitting at the table I give them a water bottle but majority of the time it's a regular cup and usually water. My kids are 4 and 2
I'm 34, and I exclusively drink from "sippy cups" (aka, refillable water bottles). I switched my kids over to water bottles at 4, because I couldn't take the sippy cup shaming anymore.
I pay good money for my furniture. I'm not risking stains by kids or adults. Enclosed drinking containers only in my house.
