Nobody is saying how dangerous it is that he wandered into the garage all by himself. If your house is too big for you to keep track of your toddler, you have an issue.
And Ollie is NOT a toddler. He's almost four, ffs.
These comments cracked me up. People are noticing the greed.

Didn't realize a gall bladder issue could be put on the back burner. My husband's nearly burst because he ignored it. He is in for a world of hurt if he continues the way he is and ignores an unhealthy gall bladder.
It's on the back burner until they need that click-baity title: EMERGENCY GALLBLADDER SURGERY!

Bryan was able to start a healthy diet once before, but this was when Missy was working and he had some of his meals separate from her. Even then, she still had trouble supporting him and had him take her out to a restaurant while he sat there and didn't eat. It's almost impossible for Bryan to change his habits if he spends all day with someone that can't (and won't) change theirs. Sure he can start eating healthy choices when they go out, but this is where I think the food addiction comes into play. It's hard to just order a salad while the person next to you is ordering french fries everyday. Like expecting an alcoholic to quit drinking surrounded by daily social drinking.
The thing is, though, that he wouldn't have to drastically change his diet. He just has to alter HOW MUCH he eats, and maybe cut back on fatty foods to help the gallbladder issues.
I lost nearly 100lbs just by switching to kids meals instead of value meals, one cookie instead of 5, no bread with dinner, swap out half the pasta for steamed veggies (still tossed in the sauce).
You don't have to deprive yourself and pout over a salad. Eat what everyone else eats. Just have some self control and not consume enough for 3 people.
I know how difficult food addiction and overeating is to overcome. I've been through all the therapy for Binge Eating Disorder. But there comes a time when you can't blame others for your refusal to treat your addiction and manage your own health. Even if your wife demands cupcakes on silver platters and taunts you with them. Part of adulthood is being responsible for your own choices.
HS - I remember Missy being that way towards him and thinking to myself what a bitch she was. At least be supportive, ya know??

TheirMom - first off, CONGRATS!! :confetti: that is an amazing transformation! Making small changes it 100% what will help you maintain healthy habits. Small changes add up to huge lifestyle changes over time and they replace bad eating habits and become second nature. There are a million small changes i see they could make on a daily basis. Don't cook your pancakes in a cup of melted butter, cut back on fried foods (you don't have to drop all your favorite bad for you treats, like you said eat 1 cookie instead of 5!) Missy, be an adult for once and just TRY some vegetables! You aren't going to like them all, but im pretty damn sure that there are at least a handful of items you can find in the produce section that you and your thuper thpecial tasthe buds can tolerate. Offer your boys healthy foods, sure they might not eat them all the first time you offer, but make Ollie sit his ass down and not leave the table until he tries ONE BITE of something new. It's not going to kill him and neither is his screaming fit. Not only are they slowly killing themselves with the way they eat but they are setting the kids up for the same struggles. It's so easy and it frustrates the hell out of me that they wont even TRY! and that they just flat out LIE about it! Just like this week with the green smoothie bullshit. Those veggie were for the chickens, not you. Bc i KNOW if you were making green smoothies there would be a 5 min montage of it in the vlog "SEE GUYS WE ARE HEALTHY!!!"

I actually think they will drink smoothies. The problem with smoothies is that they often have as many calories as milk shakes. If they're making a 12-16oz (common), mostly fruit, yogurt and protein powder, with a fist full of kale, they can still be well over 500 calories. Set that beside your "healthy" toast (slathered in butter) and bowl of strawberries, you can easily consume nearly 1000 calories at just breakfast, and convince yourself it's healthy.

Soooo Bryan skips swim class again so he can stay home and play with his bacon. Which was totally nasty looking too me.
More footage of Ollie screaming at the top of his lungs. Idk how they deal with that, and it also really makes me wonder even more about hearing loss with him.
Missy saying that Ollie isn't moving forward in swim class, 2 mins after she confesses that they have missed a bunch of classes. not only that most of the classes he goes to she complains that he didn't do what he was told or wasn't cooperating. Then she proceeds to say that once the pool is done they will be looking for a different class or teacher to help him "move forward.." Right here is a preview as to how school is going to go. And we have all called it since day one. Don't blame the school on your lack of attendance and lack of discipline with your child. the reason he isn;t moving forward is all on you missy..
Bryan cant even be bothered to tour schools for his kids. WTF
Everyday this week with Ollie and the guns.. turning everything into a gun.

This is true, i just think they are big ol liars that want the illusion of healthy eating but never really do it. They don't realize how many calories something like that can have, they just think Oh! its healthy stuff! Let's look healthy! Plus Missy doesn't want to hear the backlash if she confesses that all that stuff was for the chickens, bc like it's been said, she feeds the chickens better than she does her own kids.

You are totally right. Missy was on a green smoothie kick when Ollie was a toddler (an actual toddler Image) and I remember thinking that she was basically pouring sugar in him in the guise of a "healthy green smoothie." She would use tons of fruit and yogurt and fruit juice with maybe a handful of spinach. I think would make one huge smoothie and give it to him in portions throughout the day - it was a lot for a toddler. And so much sugar! Fruit is great, but the sugar still adds up if you go crazy with it.

I get so tired of "You did so good" I cringe at their butchering of the English language.
Why does Bryan never go to swim lessons? Today he was making the Ultimate BLT Sandiwch (trademark). Nobody says sandwich after BLT Bryan. It's assumed.
In other news, Poor Finn is not the Michael Phelps that Ollie is. Poor Finn is never going to measure up to the Golden Child. I think he is the cutest kid and hopefully doesn't pick up Ollie's spoiled entitlement.

Someone even commented on the vlog that you don't pronounce the second "s". He just loves showing off that sous vide cooker, doesn't he? I can't believe he bothered to make bacon in it! Just throw it on a baking sheet, turn the oven on at 400, 10 minutes later, you have bacon. And if you use foil, no mess...

First of all, let me say - I LOVE reading through these comments because 80% make me crack up laughing. I love to hear everyone's take on the videos and when people make fun of Missy's lisp, I DIE.

I didn't know what the Pam/Missy pregnancy annoucement meant in this thread but I totally busted out laughing when I watched the vlog. :D

Who wants tender and not crunchy bacon? Other than that, I thought the vlog was fine. It's nice to see Missy so passionate about something.

Oh, this one is squarely on Bryan. And you got to know there was an argument off camera.

Missy: "don't teach him. I was trying to stop him from seeing"
Bryan: "You're probably right, but he's gonna have to learn sooner or later."
Missy: "No, he doesn't-"
Bryan: "OLLIE! Come teach your brother that he doesn't have to listen to Mama!"

So true! They must've cut that part out so the viewers don't see it and pretend they're a "happy family" when really it isn't
