I guess being a Navy brat and then spouse has made me less attached to homes. The memories and people are more important than where they occured. I understand getting sentimental, but I wouldn't get too emotional about someone else's house. And people move all the time without having vlogs to remember things. I miss my grandparents' house, but it was in a special town. The entire town is an historical monument. It's like Mayberry. But it's not specifically. It's the time in that town with family that I miss.
I guess it's just another "I don't get it" thing about vloggers. They're not special. They're just a family that uploads videos every day. Their house isn't more special than mine or yours.

It was more GB's emotions about it than the actual house. I'm a pretty sentimental and i get attached to people easily (real and fictional) I'm also a very emotional person. I don't think they are any more special than anyone else and that's not what i was trying to say. I have watched their story for so long and laughed and cried right with them. I think it's fine if you don't have an emotional connection with things like that, but i also think it's ok if you do. They open their life to us and i think it's fine to become attached. (in a healthy way anyway) I have the same emotional attachment to them as i would say.. a neighbor down the street that i talk to a few times a week. We aren't close, but i have emotions when i know they are struggling with something or have something exciting to celebrate.

I get that. You feel like you know them. My daughter was like that when Caleb from Bratayley died. She said "I know I don't really know him, but I feel like I do!" And Bonnie's vlogs used to seem like sitting in her kitchen having a chat. I think Samika are the only vloggers I really feel "attached" to.
I don't think anyone here has the adoration problem that confuses me so much. I was just venting. Didn't mean you, sorry for not being more clear.

I do wish Cullen hadn't been sitting on his laptop when the kids were being so cute together. Thank goodness he has the vlogs so he can see how adorable his kids are. I know it was just one time, but it was so sweet. I would have tapped him on the shoulder and had him turn around.

I actually thought that too at first, but then I realized how lucky he is to even be there with them during these precious baby/little kid years. Some dad's and mom's only get a day or two out of the week to spend time with their children. No doubt Cullen is experiencing moments with them that he wouldn't get to had he been working outside the home. Katie too.

I love these moving vlogs because my roomate and i are moving, and surprisingly we are looking for barstools too. Stool prices are outrageous! When she showed the 150 one, i was like "man that is so relatable![FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]"

I bet they'll show some of the house. I presume they are closing tomorrow? They seem so calm with the move which surprises me after the stress they showed with getting the house ready to sale. I don't use this word often with CK, but they seem so organized:)

Some of those bar stools just don't go with the house. Especially that one that Cullen was sitting in and saying he liked. I really hope she gets some help on those decisions.

I think you are talking about how he sent a girl a shirt. She tweeted him asking if she retweeted something so many times if she could have a free shirt. She did and he sent her one.

I bet we'll see bits and bobs of the new house as I think they are actually moving in today and tomorrow, based on the instagram pic Cullen posted last night in Instagram for the new owners of their home. I doubt very much that we'll see a tour, but it could be that we'll see the house before the furniture gets there. So, yeah, I don't really know....stay tuned!!

Brooks is just getting cuter and cuter with his little personality growing so much lately! He looks like he is going to burrow a tunnel with his head and a shoulder down as his feet get going and he gets nowhere fast, lol, too funny. He's not one to suffer frustration silently either, smh, he so wants to crawl forward! It was sweet of Gaines to show him how to crawl. It's funny how some babies get it right away, ie Bonnie's littlest one, and others don't.

He is just too damn cute and watching him try and crawl has been my favorite part of the vlogs this week. Hes soooo close but he just can't get it! He gets so mad too. He's just freaking adorable.

Thank you! That's what I was saying! Those metal stools would not go with the house AT ALL. If they wanted a modern look, they totally went with the wrong house! It's a stately southern home, with the molding and chandeliers, and the modern, brushed metal stools are all wrong for it!

yeah, i think they need to go with the wooden ones that Katie was talking about worrying how to match the floor. She should think ahead at what kinda cabinets they are going to put in (IF they are changing them and match them from that. or go with white wood to match what is in there now if they aren't going to switch it up. They don't have to have white fabric seats, bc it seemed like she was not wanting cloth seats (which i totally understand), and it looked like most of the wood options had cloth seats. If they go with metal they are going to have to be really picky with the design and try and match the fixtures in the kitchen (brushed nickle? ect?) Maybe they should hold off looking for stools until they decide what to do with the kitchen. They don't have to have every piece of furniture they need on moving day..
