In any normal school, Symphony would be held back for the amount of days she's missed. As far as I can gather, the only scenarios that count toward excused absences are illness, death in the family, or religious reasons. Why are they sacrificing their child's education for the sake of vlogs?

I think it's another business trip for these working children - Playlist Live in Orlando :?

There is NO WAY that Sam & Nia will be invited to any of these events - they did a horrible job at the last one by fighting with Cullen and Tribe Tyler - who knows how many more people Sam has fought with and then played the "GOD FORGAVE ME" card right after :?

Symphony is....let's just face it....a "slow" child to begin with, so the fact that she's missing like half a year with all of these family "vacations" is just useless. Why not home school her? They put their kids in school yet they don't even follow the rules! I'm sure the kids in their classrooms are super confused with their constant absences as well. I'm taking a guess they are going to Disney just because they aren't invited to Playlist Live they will try to do their own Meet & Greet with the 3 people that show up.

You are right, of course. They aren't invited. Do you think they are going to just hang on the fringes? How humiliating would that be??

All the other Dads in the video were not recording themselves being "great Dads" of course except Sam. If they only knew she cried over everything and how he blatantly favors Abram over her and is one of the most non helpful Father's I have ever seen that truly seems to stick to the Father Knows Best days. Kids are woman's work don't ya know? Men get to quit their jobs, piddle around the house, nap, go on adventures and leave the wife and home to do the dishes.

So that video still made me cry. I'm a sucker for emotional stuff like that.

What I thought was telling was that he moved the camera around to see his face, instead of just being in that sweet moment with his daughter. Now to be fair I didn't dissect any of the other videos.

I never understood why they don't just home school the kids as well but that'd just be one more HUGE thing on Nia's shoulders. Home school done the right way can be very rewarding and beneficial. Some kids actually do better in that scenario (others not so much).
I actually worry a little about that girl's future if they don't start taking school seriously. Any kid no matter how smart they are needs to have an education and to be taught. There are a few self taught kids out there who were able to teach themselves despite not having a "proper education" but why wouldn't they take advantage of one? I'm including home school in the proper education bracket too.

It just makes me sad because it seems they just care so little about education. God talks about being wise Sam just FYI.

Don't forget that God led them and told them to do this vlogging lark. Remember how thankful they were that God sent more viewers their way after the 'miscarriage.' So really, Symphony missing so many days off school to do her job (being in the vlogs) is pretty much for religious reasons. #Sarcasm

Why couldn't Sam run inside in the rain? Was he afraid he was going to melt... it started to pour outside at my job today but I ran outside to put my students bikes back underneath our shelter. I turned out fine

What a stereotypical family - the boys working in the shed using all these tools while the girls are at home folding laundry and playing with "girly" toys. It's ridiculous that Sam didn't make an effort to introduce Symphony to tools as well - she is older and can actually do some wood projects with him! Nia freaking out over the wood platter - she actually looked more happy because she feels like such a loser for staying with this idiot that once a year when he does remember to do something for her she acts like he is the most amazing guy ever! #SamWillAlwaysBeUseless

WTF is she carrying on about and "about to cry" over Sam making that stupid freaking board? Her marriage must be so lacking of him doing her simple kindness that most would not even blink about. I think once again, it is a telling sign of their marriage as if Ashley Madison wasn't enough.

What's up with the stereotypical men go to Home Depot and Lowes and girls stay home and do girly stuff?

Symphony leaving an expensive Hatchimal outside, these kids have no sense of value or appreciate because they get so much stuff.

Waiting on the click bait video "Toddler gashes hand open with metal tape measure, 50 stitches!!!"

You want THESE GUYS to homeschool? And by these guys we knoe it is Nia doing all the work. Need I remind you of the way Sam dimissed evolution in the museum of natural history in NY? evolution....something taught in public colleges as FACT (and I know because i just took a final on it). Yeah no. And Nia probably didnt pay too much attention in school because she knew she was going to marry Sam anyway. Leave Symphony on traditional school....she needs normal people around her.

Of course, "Working On The New House" was clickbait. The minions have been clamoring for news on that shack they bought in Oklahoma. But no...it refers to Nia's friend Sandy's new house that is being built.
I had to laugh. Sam is buying Abram tools and a tool box so he can be many like his dad. :? And then Abram shows it to Nia, who coos "How cute! What a cute little toolbox! What a cute baby screwdriver".
That cutting board he made and sprayed with stain. Uh, toxic for food use.
Wow. The views are really down!

If that's true (and I don't doubt you; I just can't remember), then the kids' school probably does follow the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum or something similar. They're doomed.

Excuse me. I stand corrected. He questioned the big bang, and Nia condescendingly called it a theory (which is pet peeve of mine....it takes a lot for a hypothesis to be considered a theory....like a whole lot....gravity is still a theory, but no one questions that). But I mean come on, the Catholic Church ok'd the Big Bang, and we are the last to do anything around here. Also, the big bang is taught in physics class (because that is really the only place it matters). I did learn about it in college (I live in a red state....again...usually the last to ok evolution/big band concepts). You wanna believe God magically created the entire universe, sure. Whatever, but don't rob your kids of growing up with science. REAL science. Teach them that an atom exploded, but God caused that atom to explode. That's what I tell my nieces, and I believe it, too.
Either way, these two should not be teaching these kids through home schooling. It would only give them more of an excuse to "take days off" because then school tends to feel too much like being at home with mom and dad.
