I'm not sure how many of you have been around a long time, but most of us used to say how creepy her mom was taking photos of Lindsey so provocative at a young age. She would film Lindsey and Jared making out, and everyone said that she was trying to live through Lindsey. It was easy to see back then but it's sick how deep it ran. Kristy got angry about comments we made about her but maybe it clicked in her head because it was after she addressed the comments that she lost the weight. Lindsey was everything Kristy wishes she had been. She groomed Lindsey and went out of her way to sexualize her. If you're a long time watcher of Lindsey then you probably felt something wasn't right back then too. Kristy really screwed up Lindsey.

There are always 3 sides to every story. So, I don't believe anything lindsey has put in that book. She is good at fabricating stories and embellishments to make herself seem like something she isn't. May it be a victim or a sweet innocent girl. So take what she wrote with a grain of salt.

Like many have stated "if this is true" why leave your children unattended for hours on end with Kristy? Why have her name tattooed on you? Why live so long under the same roof while she hands lindsey money and provides everything for her (especially child care when she was in school ALL day when brayden was newborn and she was finishing high school).

Wasn't lindsey diagnosed with Bipolar disorder? Depending on her spectrum of it she may fall under the category of where she lies and manipulates embellishes stories etc with bipolar disorder. Everyone is effect differently with bipolar disorder.

Also, if the father was aware of what was "going on" why didn't he step in? The father (apparently) "knew Kristy was using lindsey pictures to catfish". If that was the case the husband more than likely would of blown up and shit.

Also back on the topic of her mental issues. If what lindsey wrote is a huge embellishment I have to say good job for Kristy for cutting the cancer out of her life. Lindsey wants everything her way or the high way and if she doesn't get it she flips out. We've all seen it play out over the years. A parent can only take for much abuse from a child as well (vice versa a child from a parent if what she says is true).

Now allegedly she tried telling the school....Yeah what if she did and the school and CPS looked into it and it was all a lie and fabricated story? Again people with certain mental issues will only believe what they want even if they have cold hard facts/proof in front of them. Plus if it was "true" the police would have been involves if she told the school and CPS....so if it really did happen where are the police reports and CPS notes. She should have included copies of that in the book. She is allowed to get copies of the paper trail.

All I'm saying is don't believe everything from anyone. To many embellishments in my eyes and lindsey loves making herself look like a victim.

So much of it makes sense to me. Lindsay probably felt that she couldn't leave because she was so dependent on the help of her mother to raise those boys. Her mother may have brainwashed her to feel that she couldn't do it without her help. Lindsay was fairly isolated with almost no friends her entire teen years. The only people she saw consistently would be the person she was dating at the time and her mother. She probably felt trapped. Her mental health issues are probably a result of the abuse.

Kristy having her middle school daughter pose in skimpy clothing clothing for pics. I remember pics of Lindsay in the backyard maybe age 12-14? Completely done up/ posed trashy. Remember who took those photos!

Basically encouraging teen pregnancy. Acting more like a friend more than a mother.

Her obsession with Lindsey's relationships over the years.

Kristy definitely spent a lot of time over the years on social media. If I remember correctly didn't she visit/obsess over this site on somewhat a regular basis at one point?

Yes she was or (still does) obsesse over this site and she apparently ran the high school football team site or some football team site. I can't remember which it was


I don't know bipolar is not something you get from abuse it's just a chemical imbalance to my knowledge (someone can correct me)

But found these gems where she is all about her mother allnd her mothers help....it's all odd to me is all I'm saying and to not believe everything in that book. Books do get embellishments to sell more. Few details could be changed to make them seem what they are not at all.

Yup, I was one of the ppl who though Kristy's behavior on social media and toward her daughter was super odd. The pics were totally inappropriate. I remember seeing one of Lindsey in a crop top and jeans, posed provocatively and she didn't look any older than 10.

I hate to say it, because if it's true then that is so incredibly sad.

I didn't read her book but I watched her mom's video. It was interesting to me that her mom not only made a video about it (or what most likely is about it), but also didn't really defend herself much. She just kept saying how she cut herself off from said person, said person is mad that she started spending money on herself, and so on.

It was just weird to me. I feel like if what Lindsey said in her book was actually false/made up, her mom would've had a lot more to say. I don't know. Although I don't know everything (or really that much at all), I am siding with Lindsey for now.

She told her counselor who contacted her mom and cps. Her mom forced it into her head that she would get more abused somewhere else so when questioned lindsey said she made it up so she didn't have to to home with her mom when she was in trouble. You hear all the time of cps missing the major details, look at the little girl in Arizona. She was being sexually abused and they looked into and thought nothing was up. Then months later she was murdered

^ CPS makes mistakes all the time. They're human beings, and they don't always get it right. Spouses turn a blind eye to abuse, as awful as that is. There are so many cases of abuse going on in a home, and the entire family going about their day to day lives without breathing a word of it to anyone. And unfortunately, children will remain fiercely loyal to an abusive parent. That is not uncommon.

That's terrible. She could have just said "mother and grandmother" or not mentioned her kids at all instead of deliberately erasing her daughter from history.
