Like many have stated "if this is true" why leave your children unattended for hours on end with Kristy? Why have her name tattooed on you? Why live so long under the same roof while she hands lindsey money and provides everything for her (especially child care when she was in school ALL day when brayden was newborn and she was finishing high school).
Wasn't lindsey diagnosed with Bipolar disorder? Depending on her spectrum of it she may fall under the category of where she lies and manipulates embellishes stories etc with bipolar disorder. Everyone is effect differently with bipolar disorder.
Also, if the father was aware of what was "going on" why didn't he step in? The father (apparently) "knew Kristy was using lindsey pictures to catfish". If that was the case the husband more than likely would of blown up and shit.
Also back on the topic of her mental issues. If what lindsey wrote is a huge embellishment I have to say good job for Kristy for cutting the cancer out of her life. Lindsey wants everything her way or the high way and if she doesn't get it she flips out. We've all seen it play out over the years. A parent can only take for much abuse from a child as well (vice versa a child from a parent if what she says is true).
Now allegedly she tried telling the school....Yeah what if she did and the school and CPS looked into it and it was all a lie and fabricated story? Again people with certain mental issues will only believe what they want even if they have cold hard facts/proof in front of them. Plus if it was "true" the police would have been involves if she told the school and CPS....so if it really did happen where are the police reports and CPS notes. She should have included copies of that in the book. She is allowed to get copies of the paper trail.
All I'm saying is don't believe everything from anyone. To many embellishments in my eyes and lindsey loves making herself look like a victim.

Well when one person is sick of defending themselves and has or had proved woth facts that what is one saying is not true a person would get sick of defending themselves. (This statement is in regards to anyone in any aituation) With that being said I don't know on her part of defending herself. I do agree with that lack of defense on her part it does seem odd (to me). But either she is tired with defending herself to everyone for all we know they have been involved with cps for years or the local police deal with this issue. It was just weird to me. I feel like if what Lindsey said in her book was actually false/made up, her mom would've had a lot more to say. I don't know. Although I don't know everything (or really that much at all), I am siding with Lindsey for now.
We really only know one side to a "story" and I am calling it am story (or a fabricated story) because none of us were flies on the wall or a witness to any of this. I am taking no sides and believing nothing from lindsy or Kristy.
Now I'm just going to throw out questions or statements for discussion.
Someone mentioned that spouses ignore abuse. I do agree with that. Her dad may have ignored it or brushed it under the rug. Did he have knowledge of it? (I can't remember if he did or not). If Kristy is "some what" innocent in the sexual abuse allegations why wouldn't the husband come fourth and defend his wife? Or if it was true why didn't he protect his daughter once he found out?? Wouldn't a father want to protect his daughter from danger and go after the people Abusing his daughter? What about Will and his side of the story he has lived in that house during all this time. Did he have knowledge of this "story"? Wouldn't he want that protect his baby sister from harm? (This does seem odd to me that they all have neglected her) if what said is true.
What about jared or alex side of the story...did they witness verbal or physical abuse from either Kristy or lindsy dad??? Maybe that is why they have a whole week with Brayden and Andrew to protect them so less time for Kristy to have the children???
