I noticed that too but I didn't know if that was normal or not since I haven't been around that many newborns. Also, didn't they say she has colic? I always thought that babies with colic were very fussy and cried a lot? In a KK vlog this week, Keren was saying how calm Alaya is and that she barely cries. Kyra also makes it seem like she is such a good baby on Twitter and Snap. Did she just have a mild form of colic or was that just a clickbait title for their vlog that day? Like I said, I haven't been around too many newborns and the stories I have heard about colic were the exact opposite of how Alaya acts.

I'm sorry but that baby does not have colic. My daughter developed colic when she was around a month old and it lasted until she was a little over 3 months. For my daughter she had a specific time EVERY single day that she would just freak out. It would start at 6pm and last almost on the dot until 9pm. She would scream bloody murder like she was in the most intense pain. Because she was. Colic is caused by severe abdominal pain and next to nothing will soothe them. I was lucky that she only cried at a specific time during the day and not all day like some babies. If there is a "mild" form of colic I would think that's what my daughter had compared to some and hers was anything but mild!

I think it was just them being click baity again. They didn't show her crying AT ALL and you know they would have filmed that crap if she actually were crying bad enough to take her to the doctor to get diagnosed with colic.

I have to disagree. If it wasn't safe for children under 2 to be allowed to be buckled in with with you on your lap it wouldn't be allowed. I don't spend the ludicrous amount on an extra full fare ticket when my kid can go for free in my lap, I guess seeing as O+K have the money though thats a different story.

My 4 week old has been diagnosed with colic where he is seemingly fine during the day but will grunt, groan and wriggle uncontrollably all night. My daughter who is now 3 had colic which for her meant she would stay up all night screaming/crying but was fine during the day. I barely watch OK so I don't know about their situation but it does display differently in every baby.

This. Im sonsick of reading comments about how terrible parents are when they dont buy the baby a ticket. Sorry but it wouldnt be allowed if it was all that awful. I just watched a video a cpl days ago where the father was made to carry the baby on his lap even after he purchased a seat for the carseat because they overbooked the flight and needed to use the seat. If the planes going down, your chabcenof survival is about the same as if you were buckled, or holding onto that baby.

Severe turbulence can happen even without going down, and safety standards are changing all the time. Before, no one knew that turning a babies car seat around in the car was safer, but now it is the norm. The idea is that if severe turbulence happens, you won't be prepared (like OK lol) and your baby will fly up and hit the ceiling. If the baby is in a seat on their own with just the belt in their lap, then the belt could injure them if the plane had severe turbulence. But if they're in the car seat, with the plane belt, it is considered the safest way for them to travel. I understand that it's more money, and that it can be inconvenient, and that's fine. But I don't think some people should be judged for doing it. Each person should do what they want with their child. Maybe they have a fear of flying, and it makes them feel safer to see their child safe.

And the Delta plane video you're talking about was a different story. The flight attendant was ignorant to their own policy that specifically said it is okay to use a car seat, and in the end kicked the family off the redeye flight even after they suggested they hold the kids on their lap. Then the family had to purchase new tickets all over again for the next day. So the outrage was over ignorance of flight attendants and overbooked flights.

I don't think anyone is judging parents who choose to spend extra money to book their child their own seat. If you have the money and desire to do that thats your business and I certainly wouldn't judge. However lets also not judge parents who choose to save money and still follow the current rules. I don't think doing this is being a bad parent. Being rear facing right now is the LAW so it makes sense to judge a parent not following those rules and breaking the LAW while putting their child in danger. It is still legal and deemed safe to have a child in your lap under age 2 on a plane by aviation standards, so until that is made illegal, if it ever is, lets not judge parents for operating within the realm of the rules. I live in the USA and my home country is across an ocean and the average flight ticket is 800$ a person. Should we as a family not be able to go home and visit simply because I can't afford the extra 800$ to pay for a seat for my 7 month old? 800$ is a lot of money and I definitely don't think I'm a bad mom because I don't pay that. I follow ALL the ACA rules and guidelines and I am a stickler for carseat safety and follow every rule my state has.

I was reading about them yesterday lol. They're basically the older version of Okbaby, but worse if that's even possible. I read the faked a pregancy and that their old child is really beind because they don't send her to school because they're always travelling.
I can see Okbaby reaching that point too in the near future

The FFA says that all children should be secured in car seats for the entire flight. A lot of things that aren't safe for children are allowed.

catching up on the vlogs and Kyra didn't know what a Rubiks cube was and then called it a "robeks" cube right after Korina blatantly told her what it's called. how dim is this girl?! I almost want to make a list of every dumb comment she and Oscar have said just as proof that education matters, even when you get lucky like they did!

Kyra doesn't know the definition of "phobia" and she thinks going to Hawaii is going out of the country. Watch the BFF TAG on Keren's personal channel from about a year ago.

Let's place bets on when they will reach a million subs. Do you think they'll step it up since they are so close now or do you think they will continue to suck at uploading and it will be another week or two before they get those last 3K?

WTF happened at the end of "Cops got her..."? I didn't understand why Kyra was mad, why she got pulled over, or why Oscar "felt bad." It's so annoying how vague and impersonal they have become. If they are going to take hours upon hours to edit, at the very least make it cohesive and clear about what's going on.

He's uploading at 3am?!? Plus she begged him to at least drive her to the hotel but of course not. He forced her to kiss him many times while saying bye. Bet it was to get some extra gaming time in with Khoa. I don't feel that bad for Kyra because the girl STILL doesn't have her id/license.
She mentioned they were right down the street, why wouldn't he go to make sure she's fine?? It looked late at night.

So she got pulled over with no ID and while driving a friends car? I bet that went well. Wonder if she will stop being lazy and actually go get her license or ID..then again that's if they ever leave Florida. Must be nice to be on vacation 24/7 when you have no real job to be back to.

I think its pretty comical they didn't actually say what she got pulled over for or whether she was ticketed etc. She was in CA not too long ago she could have easily gone to the RMV and gotten a replacement license. That would be so high on my priority list I can't imagine not caring and letting it go so long. In most states you can even order a replacement ID online without even having to go anywhere and wait in a line.
