DailySellouts Part 88
Re: DailySellouts Part 88
I'm sorry, but I have struggled with depression and anxiety. Yes exercise and healthy habits help, but you feel like you are under water. Getting started and doing simple things is exhausting and the world feels like it is crashing in on you. And for me it was a gradual thing... Life just got harder and harder, and I have a very low-stress life. I started taking an amino acid (NAC) that has changed my life. It controlled my anxiety and took away that overwhelmed feeling. I have now been exercising and making healthy changes for the past few months.
If you have never struggled with depression/anxiety, you truly can't understand. Its easy to say just exercise. Just do this, just do that. But doing it is sooo hard and feels impossible. There were days where getting out of bed felt like an accomplishment. Sometimes ppl need medication/vitamins/herbs to help balance brain chemistry to start a healthier life.
Now for eating healthy, she has no excuse, she can afford a meal service that could ship healthy meals to her door for Zero work on her part.
This is all to say IF she has depression, I do understand why she is the way she is. But it is up to her to get help! Depression doesn't excuse all her shitty parenting, but it would explain all the sleeping and weight gain.

I don't think they are happy with their marriage, but I also do not think they will ever separate again. With their lives, it would be hard to find and connect with another potential spouse. They are dependent on each other.Coolowl wrote:I don't want to believe they aren't shitty parents because it is shown to us that they are...there is no denying it, and I am sure as hell not using depression to give them a pass.
My issue is that if it is happening then they should get help for it. The family unit depends on it or all will be lost.
They did actually get married too young and ended up divorced. This is their second time at it and if they keep on going how they are then a second divorce or separation may happen.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
Where did I say it was easy? Did you read my post. I specifically said there was a difference between "having the blues" type of depression, and needing medication. I never said real depression could be cured with a diet change alone, but I do believe what Missy has can definitely be improved with lifestyle changes. I think her lifestyle is the problem! If not, then she wouldn't appear better when she actually gets her ass out there and moving.bunny88 wrote:I'm sorry, but I have struggled with depression and anxiety. I have struggled with both, I'm not just talking out of my ass. I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis, but I also manage to be a stay at home mom to two children, and I push myself to be the best I can be for them. I DO UNDERSTAND, and this is why Missy isn't getting a pass from me. She doesn't appear to be trying at all. She hasn't tried to let the boys play with Play Doh, or tried to take them to the park... she does only what she wants. This isn't depression, it's her being too selfish to put her boys first. There are plenty of depressed moms out there, but most of them are in that position because they only put their children/spouse first. This isn't Missy.
Bryan doesn't get a pass on eating. He's criticized here on a daily basis for his size, and failure to go to the gym. Why is Missy having depression (if she does) any different? Because she's a mother and most people here can relate to that? Bryan can admit he has a problem and make changes. Missy can admit theres a problem and make changes. I know everyone hates Bryan more than Missy, but he isn't her problem and can't fix whatever he issues are. He can stop enabling.. for sure! But he cannot make her tune in.
And lets be clear here for a second... I keep seeing comments about BRYAN spending all this money. Everyone does realize that Missy is spending it too? Bryan is an obnoxious oaf, but Missy isn't a helpless and trapped slave. I 100% think she's pulling all the strings behind the scenes. Hate on Bryan for it sure, but hate on Missy too.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
Bryan even said that Missy was behind the pool redo and thanked her for "forcing me into it". He wanted the outdoor kitchen, and Missy pushed for the pool. She goes shopping, comes home with bags of clothes, but wears the same ones all the time. Has she worn anything from that awful look book? Bryan used to grill a lot-- we'll see what he does now. I do think that they both spend like crazy and buy things to try to fill up the big hole inside themselves. It won't work.

Is anyone else having problems skipping ads? I used to have the option at times on mobile. I never do anymore, so I just don't watch.
As far as their marriage and mental health, I've always assumed that they've had problems surrounding Bryan's sexuality. I'm wondering what goes through her mind when she reads stuff on here about the Craigslist gym thing thing or when she sees Bryan's flamboyant Musicaly video. I don't feel bad for her about it nor do I think it's a justification for how she acts as a mom, I just think it's probably the big underlying issue going on with them. That's my guess at least.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
I see how I misunderstood what u were saying. In your opinion, Missy just has the blues. In my opinion, I think she has the kind of depression that needs some kind of medical/herbal intervention. It seems like more than the blues in my opinion. So I apologize for the confusion.
And no it doesn't give her a pass on everything. And I think her and Bryan are equally at fault with the spending and the lack of discipline. I think ppl hate on Bryan more because his personality is just more annoying in general. But I agree that she doesn't get a free pass. If she is depressed, it is her responsibility to go get help for it.

On the subject of what more they have to buy...vacations! Guys!!! They work SO hard. They need to spend money on some breaks for themselves. Think of all the places they need to go!!!! Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales, Netherlands, Finland, tropical islands, Japan (LOL I cannot see them going there honestly or any other Asian country. Cambodia was enough for Bryan lol), Italy, Greece, etc. etc.
And I agree that Missy doesn't have to sit there all day on her phone ignoring everything. She could get a hobby. Honestly, I don't see why she doesn't take up painting! The picture she posted of her and family at the thing where you all paint the same picture, hers was pretty good! It could be a fun hobby for her.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
I actually hope they do spend money on vacations like those. I can see wanting to wait until the kids are bit older, but this is what they should be doing with that money. I'd rather see them show those boys some of the world than buy a huge outdoor kitchen to use a couple times a year. Disney is amazing and I can understand wanting to take the kids when they are little and can enjoy the magic, but there is more to vacationing than Disney and Legoland. If they are going to make obscene amounts of money doing practically nothing, I would at least be happy to see Ollie and Finn get some amazing life experiences out of it.tintin15 wrote:On the subject of what more they have to buy...vacations! If this is true then that is hilarious since most people on this board think they are the best parents ever. LmaoBaconsgirl wrote:That snack hack came from c&k lol

I noticed before that they seem to copy a lot of vlog ideas from c&k. You can look at the dates of when each is released and they always do theirs later after cullen and katie do it. It's really pathetic... you would think with bryan being gay and all, he would have enough creativity in him to think up his own vlog themes.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
Not just C&K, they copy EVERYTHING. This goes right back to when they first began and copied the intro for Missy's bumpdates freon Tweedletee (or however its spelled). They would hate it if someone stole content from them, but seem to have no problem taking inspiration from others.pibachka wrote:Baconsgirl wrote:That snack hack came from c&k lol

The copying is even predictable. It's pathetic.

My only problem is it wouldn't be for the boys It would be so B&M can see what THEY want and relax from their ~awful~ lives. Didn't they have Mimi and Papa in London with them in charge of the boys, or did I make that up??? lolcat9480 wrote:I actually hope they do spend money on vacations like those. I would love to see them go travel somewhere with the boys and show them educational and cool stuff, but I just don't think they would. I think they would go to the nearest theme park and fast food restaurants.
Though, I do remember...uhhh...I think the first time they went to Hawaii? They took Mimi and Papa because they deserved a vacation. They were walking around at night, I think, and they were in some sort of building or structure or even near statues???? that had a lot of history. It had been there for a looong time and they thought it was cool. Does anyone recall what I'm talking about? This was a while ago, when they were still mostly bearable.

Re: DailySellouts Part 88
And the only reason they went to London was so Bryan could see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. They only went to the Tower because Missy wanted to see where some Outlander character got executed. They did go to the Museum of Natural History so Ollie could see dinos, but that was it. The rest was hot chockit, cookies, and that stupid reverse Advent calendar. What did they do in Paris? Eat shop, right?

Yes, I know. Wishful thinking that they would actually do something useful and worthwhile with all that money.tintin15 wrote:My only problem is it wouldn't be for the boys It would be so B&M can see what THEY want and relax from their ~awful~ lives. I thought the pool was over the top! But that outdoor kitchen is ridiculous! It will only be used for the hired chef to cook at their parties, bryan will never cook on that grill.

I agree that is would be a good thing for him to go. So much good would come out of it. I just think (given their past life decisions) that the decision to send him to preschool wasn't for Ollies or Fin's benefit, it was for their benefit.bunny88 wrote:I honestly think Ollie going to preschool would be good for them. Like Jesus fucking Christ. Your almost 4 year old should have known his colors 2 years ago! I think the only reason they are even sending him to preschool is 1. to get time to themselves and 2. many other yt's that age are going. I don't see this being a decision based on what is best for him because that's not how the lannings roll. I am wondering though how long it will last since B+M hate having to do anything besides going out to eat and napping. Besides it might get one of the cars dirty. lol
Unfortunately, I forsee preschool only lasting a few weeks... maybe a month before they unenroll him. Either because the preschool can't deal with his behavior (since he has never been properly disciplined) or because they can't be bothered to get up early to get him there on time. Oh and they would have to enforce a bedtime for him, too. He would throw a fit and they would cave and let him stay up.
You nailed it. The minute it becomes a hassle for them and they have run out of handlers to help them he will be pulled out of preschool.

If they did do another it would be full of tension between the moms, awkward and fake.
