I've seen so many people on here talk about Emily's looks, and while I kind of understand what you guys mean (I think off-putting might be the best way to describe it), I've always found her to be quite a pretty little girl who reminds me of someone. I couldn't put my finger on who she reminded me of until now (after watching the house tour vlog). Call me crazy...but... I see that "ugly duckling" Megan Fox type of look about her. As in, I think she has the potential to turn into a gorgeous girl/woman when she grows up. What do you guys think? Am I just seeing things? Lol

I actually think she is gorgeous and will only get prettier as she ages, it's just some of the expressions she makes that are, like you said, off putting.

100% agreed. She is a very pretty girl, both their daughters are, I believe with real class. Gaines is rather average and has a more 'cheap' way of looking nice, as I would word it. I hope Emily is taking speech therapy.

Kelley did say Emily got speech therapy at school, however I'm not sure what they do over the Summer. I'm definitely not a professional but I feel like that large of a break from speech therapy would be detrimental to her progress.

I watched a few minutes of today's vlog and then noticed on Instagram that Granddolly posted about having Madelyne and her cousin Rhea over for a week to do fun stuff. Since Katie and Kelley are their only children, I'm assuming the cousin is from Jay's side of the family, not related to Dolly? Anyone know? I'm not 100% sure but that sure is nice of Dolly to take them both in for a fun week and treat Rhea like she's her own granddaughter.
Edit: I just looked through Dolly's ig and it looks like Rhea might actually be on her side of the family. Either way she seems like a fun grandma.

Shouldn't Kelly be wearing a long sleeve sun shirt per her dermatologist's orders? I don't think a high neck tankini counts. Or is skin cancer no big deal to her?

Doesn't seem like skin cancer is a big concern for any of those adults. Cullen gets sunburned at least once a year. Katie and Kelly definitely tan. They should not only worry about skin cancer, but their skin is going to look like leather by the time they're 50.

Fashion comes first in her eyes. Emily's top looked pretty uncomfortable and annoying for a child her age. She's what, 5, 6? Sure it's cute, but not practical for a little kid to play in.

Do y'all think there's trouble in paradise? I don't watch the videos but noticed Jay was not in Florida form Cullen and Katie and several people commented asking why with no response. Ever since they've left Florida there's been no video and no social media presence.

Whoa... i didn't think about that until you brought it up. Jay wasn't in FL was he? He does have a pretty demanding job though, so i can see maybe him not being able to be there, but you would think they would address it. No vlog in 3 days.... seems fishy..

I just noticed in the comments of the last vlog she said they would be back to vlogging today i think (maybe tomorrow) and people commented that Jay couldnt come bc of work. I dont really watch these guys so i can't say if it was brought up on the vlog or not.

Maybe he couldn't get time off. He just took a week for spring break, right? That was just a couple of months ago. And attorneys don't exactly get lots of time off usually.

the whole family thinks getting burned and then getting a tan is a sign of looking "healthy" it drives me crazy, my mother used to be just like kelly/katie/that whole family and now she has to go into the doctor every three months and have her whole body examined and have spots burned off, it's not fun and I'm rolling me eyes at kelly not taking it seriously. The ones I worry about is the kids growing up with that mentality, it's not healthy.

OT, but Jay is a DUI attorney, right? I thought I heard that somewhere. So the 4th of July week would be busy for him. Sad but true.

Is tanning more prevelant in the south??? EVERYONE here does it, I actually worked at a tanning salon for a while (we also did signs and advertising, tee shirt screen printing and I was property manager for several rental properties, it was quite the hodge podge of a business lol) and I've always wondered if it was as popular everywhere else? People laugh at me Bc I'm so white. I've been heckled crossing the street.. GRANTED... I am guilty of tanning when I was a kid (for prom only pretty much) and I still will buy a few visits before we go on vacation to the beach. Only Bc I've learned that if I go for VERY short visits (5 mins most time. Maybe a couple for 8) over about a month I can prevent myself from getting absolutely FRIED in the sun on the beach. (Even applying 75 spf every 2 hours I got pink this year ) I never get real color from it, but it does expose me enough so I'm not complete toast before we leave the beach. Maybe that's not even healthy but I want to pretend it is.
