Then Missy says she has Luna locked up because the chickens are out, and Luna "wants to kill them! She's a chicken murderer!"
Has Luna ever killed one of her precious chickens? No. Then she's not a chicken murderer. What a fucking idiot.
I would link it, but I am blocked on their IG-- my daughter showed me those.

Maybe Luna has killed a chicken and they hid it but she let out slip. It would explain why we rarely see her out any more but they can't get rid of her because of the amount of criticism and backlash they would get.

Wow, that's a good point. Just another thing they hide...

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
I don't think that's the case. Missy has mentioned before that Luna isn't that great with the chickens. She would kill one if they allowed her close enough.

I mean, she wasn't locked up in a crate inside, she was in the side yard.

Ollie was 3 but not because of Missy or Bryan. It happened when they went on a trip and they left him with Missy's parents and I believe Cassie.

Maybe I am heartless, but Ollie' s over-reaction to his bee sting was very annoying. They dont seem to try and calm him down, but they just keep working him up which makes him whine and cry. Also seemed like missy pinched the stinger out instead of scraping it out with a card or something....no wonder it hurt more.

Par for the course with these two... They have no idea how to talk a child down from hysteria. They ALWAYS make it a million times worse. Poor kids. You know they would feel better if they had someone who actually cared about their feelings instead of vlog footage.

Finn's head looks AWFUL!!! My god what happened? I feel like it was something that was their fault, or Ollie's, since they didn't make it a vlog title and thumbnail.

He is acting exactly how missy acted a couple weeks ago! I knew Ollie would watch her overreaction and become terrified of bees. Did you hear bryan saying Ollie freaked out when it landed on him therefore causing him to get stung. If I got stung by a bee I would show my boys how it's not that bad and act tough no matter how badly it hurt...

Thank you! I was watching a Insta story of Missy and she was asking Finn if she could change his diaper.

Exactly, we found a wasp nest in my nieces playhouse last week, and we remained calm as we took care of it because we didn't want her to freak, but besides that bee stings dont hurt that badly. I know everyone has different pain thresholds (and i generally think mine is pretty low) but like come on. Especially with ice on it.

That fake ass cry he does is so annoying. 90% of that was completely put on. He's whining like he's intimating a puppy. And lets make him recount the story to everyone he saw, turning on the fake cries even more. You can tell he's doing it for attention too bc he's like no i dont want an ice pack! And of course Ollie gets a huge toy for his bee sting..reinforcing the whining behavior even more... Wonder if Finn got a toy for that big ass goose egg on his head. I doubt it.

Personal: A couple years ago our family was out hiking and came up on a yellow jackets nest, of course we didn't realize it until it was too late and we ALL (dog included) got stung. My husband and i lucked out and only had one each but both my kids were not so lucky. My daughter had 5 stings and my son had 3. Personally i think yellow jackets are more painful that just about any sting ive ever gotten, and i wont lie there were tears shed all around. But, as soon as we got away from the nest and got everyone checked out (made sure no stingers and all that jazz) we were all fine. No whining, no major breakdowns. They were both more worried about our dog then themselves. We trekked back to the car (10 min walk tops) and went home. I did dose both the kids up with bendryl and sent them to bed for naps but after 5 mins they were both fine and were mad we had to cut the hike short and didn't make it to the waterfall. point being, don't make a huge deal out of things and your kids won't.

I'm heartless too then because I was super annoyed with him going on and on about it. Bee stings don't feel good but jeez you didn't get stabbed by a knife holy crap. I've been stung several times, even as a child and I never acted the way missy and Oliver did. It's like they have no common sense. I understand when you're young parents you don't always know what to do but it should be common sense not to baby an almost 4 year old like that. They should have just calmly addressed the sting and explained to him it's no big deal and then MOVE on!

Oh yea let's not comfort an almost 4 year, I mean he's almost an adult he doesn't need comfort.

I hate how vilified Ollie is on this board. If this was in the E&J board and had happened to Jackson, the tune would have been completely different.

I'm not saying Missy and Bryan handled it correctly, they never do. But telling a 4 year old they are fine and to move on when they in fact aren't, isn't okay either. He's allowed to feel upset!

Bee stings hurt. Simple as that. They should have comforted him, gave him something to maybe make it feel bad, and iced it a bit.

I am not saying this is what happened to Ollie, but I am somewhat allergic to bees. (Not deathly) I got stung on my hand and it hurt so bad... my entire hand was swollen and burned like there was acid in it for 3-4 days. I am super paranoid about them, now, because my dad told me I could have an even worse reaction next time. (I also felt light-headed and sick to my stomach)

I have heard that my reaction to it was definitely not typical, though, and kids definitely get their cues from how the adults react. So I am sure it was B&M making it way worse than it was.

I've been meaning to make this post, but everyone seems to think Ollie doesn't listen and is so bad BUT, that boy is a great swimmer. The only way he could have gotten that good is by listening and paying attention and doing well in swim class. I think when he goes to preschool he's going to be and do perfectly fine. Children often listen to other people and instructors more then they listen to their parents.

Exactly I have a feeling Gaines would have acted even more dramatic and everyone on the thread would be acting completely different. The simple fact is Ollie overreacts because he gets attention for it. Hell its probably the most attention he has gotten all week, he's normally in his toy room watching tv while his parents play video games and binge watch tv shows.

I dont have a problem with them comforting him, they should! I do have a problem with them continuing to bring it up over and over and milking his fake cries. I'm pretty sure that if they didn't make him retell the story over and over, and didn't KEEP asking him after he's clearly over it, if it still hurt, he would have been fine by the time they turned the camera on. I also have a problem with them showering him with toys and gifts after a bee sting, it reinforces whining behavior. The child needed comfort and cuddles right after, but put some ice on it make sure he's fine and then stop bringing it up! That sting will "hurt" for days and days if Ollie thinks he can get extra attention and toys out of it.

Omg Gains would have screamed and screeched.

I honestly don't think Ollie overreacted at all. Be stings hurt and when you are a small child you don't really understand why something hurts like that.

My son cries like he's being murdered when he scrapes his knee so I may be a bit more sympathetic, irk.
