Let's be real here, there is a toy opened every vlog. Ollie would have opened that toy whether he got hurt or not. Who knows it could have been sent to them for free, they did make sure to zoom in on the box and name.

AND it will be twice in what a week? that he has gotten knocked in the head without explanation. Something is going on and i totally agree that it was the pool, Ollie or lack of supervision that caused it and it wont be addressed. I do wonder if it was Ollie with that kind of injury, would it be talked about? Would they lie or just not address it?bunny88 wrote:Exactly.... I have a strong suspicion that he got hurt by Ollie or the pool. And they arent going to even address what happened because it will make them look bad in some way.Playsinrain wrote:Like i mentioned before, Finn's head looks 10 times worse than Ollie's sting. We don't get a 15 mins vlog of them cuddling and comforting Finn. We don't see them asking him 1047935 times in a day if it still hurts and to show it to everyone. We didn't see Finn getting toys bc he hurt himself. It's just crazy and sad to me that they favor Ollie so much more than Finn. Even IF they did all those things, we don't see it, which totally means Ollie's injuries are more "important" to them (aka the vlog) than Finn's. Hell we were lucky to see Finn at all in this vlog bc Ollie got hurt, but yet there is Finn looking like he could have gotten a concussion and not even a word about it.

Liked this accidentally. I would like to believe that he's going to do just fine. But what we're shown in the vlogs isn't a kid who is interested in sitting still unless there's a screen in front of him, and who has been led to believe that hitting people and calling them poo poo head is "cute".whys0seri0us wrote:I can't wait for Ollie to go to school and do just fine.Ducklings4 wrote:It will be interesting to see how he is at school. Ollie does not seem to respect any adults except Mimi and Papa. They come to his lessons so maybe that is why he behaves there and can learn.whys0seri0us wrote:I've been meaning to make this post, but everyone seems to think Ollie doesn't listen and is so bad BUT, that boy is a great swimmer. The only way he could have gotten that good is by listening and paying attention and doing well in swim class. I think when he goes to preschool he's going to be and do perfectly fine. Children often listen to other people and instructors more then they listen to their parents.

Junk food and a bad diet will make you tired and sluggish. Exercising actually gives you energy!sarahelizabeth_1 wrote:1) Bryan you feel like shit all the time because you don't exercise and eat garbage and call it "food"

I agree, and it does make me suspicious that E&J went to the Cars movie with the kids the same day.MommaLindsey2 wrote:Let's be real here, there is a toy opened every vlog. From Ollie's perspective though, life rewards you when bad things happen, and I have a big problem with this mentality. We see it with vloggers all the time, and it's just arrogant and out of touch with reality.

Exactly my point. If you exercise more it will give you energy and make you feel good. They don't exercise, they don't even eat remotely healthy. I feel bad for Bryan and Missy because of their diet but feel even worse for their kids because they don't have a choice in the matter and they are being fed poison.twomommies wrote:Junk food and a bad diet will make you tired and sluggish. Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
The "hands on" is going to be a big problem for him if he doesn't catch on fast. Aggression just isn't tolerated, and the reaches have an obligation to protect the feelings and space of the more sensitive kids, over those of the kids failing to keep to themselves. It won't matter that Ollie isn't meaning to be aggressive or pushy. If this is how his peers perceive him, and they feel uncomfortable and anxious, then the school will undoubtedly get very strict with him and he other kids that don't respect the space of others.lmmomSD wrote:Liked this accidentally. For this reason my son's Kindy class had a rule that the kids couldn't even hug eachother or touch at all in order to avoid any misunderstandings. Hitting of any kind from Ollie is going to be an issue quickly, and unfortunately he seems to think it's a normal way to introduce himself and play. It won't matter to the other kids if he isn't "meaning" to be rude. This will be the impression they have of him.

I feel like they always come up with some "excuse" for all the toys as damage control for people watching the vlogs. I agree though they are setting these boys to be incredibly spoiled and self centered. I always think of Donald trump lol spoiled kids who constantly get praised for every tiny thing they do grow up to be like Donald trump.HelloSweetie wrote:I agree, and it does make me suspicious that E&J went to the Cars movie with the kids the same day.MommaLindsey2 wrote:Let's be real here, there is a toy opened every vlog. If B&M did buy a new car, I'd almost bet they went out and did so to make themselves feel better after being dropped by Maker.MommaLindsey2 wrote: I feel like they always come up with some "excuse" for all the toys as damage control for people watching the vlogs. Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
I agree that he's going to do just fine. There's almost an obsession with him being delayed or showing some sign of autism or having some massive behavior problem. He seems pretty normal to me. I think it might take him a few weeks to fully adjust to a more structured environment, but I don't think he's going to have any major problems beyond that. I think he might thrive in school. I hope he thrives so everyone will shut up.whys0seri0us wrote:I've been meaning to make this post, but everyone seems to think Ollie doesn't listen and is so bad BUT, that boy is a great swimmer. Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
People couldn't possibly think Ollie isn't well behaved because they've raised well behaved children themselves (or have experience with them) and have higher expectations of what kids are capable of

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
I want to preface that I don't watch B+M very often, and this is off-topic, but one of my favorite Youtubers attended the family vlogger panel that they and a few others were in and made a response video to some of the things she noticed. Needless to say, I think she hit the nail on the head, and a lot of what she says doesn't just apply to B+M but to pretty much every Youtube family on these forums. Here's the link if anyone's interested:

I agree. Do I think there are some aspects of his behavior that could use improvement, of course, but it's nothing extreme. Everyone calls him violent all the time and I just don't see that.Lovethesnark wrote:I agree that he's going to do just fine. If anything I think he's a little hyper but having a routine could help that.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
My kids never had swim lessons and they could all swim, on their own, by 3/4 years old.
Also, my kids had bumps and bruises on their head or face from walking into door knobs at Finns age.. I'm sure it was something neglectful with Finn-that's why they aren't milking it

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
Based on the way he's described here, you'd think the kid has severe emotional disturbances mixed with a few cognitive delays. I'm not saying he's an angel. Or that there aren't things that couldn't be improved with him. There are kids with actual disturbances. He's not one of them.whys0seri0us wrote:I agree. Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
It's sad that he is even showing violent tendencies with his parents and they don't correct him. If my kids had slapped my hand away from a new toy i just gave them, the toy would go in time out for awhile. If you act that way you don't get fun new toys to play with. This sort of behavior will be what gets him in trouble at school. If he thinks hitting his parents is acceptable, he WILL be hitting students and teachers. He hits everyone, people he's just met, friends, his parents, his brother, the dogs... and is never EVER corrected.queentee20 wrote:All I'm mad about is when they were showing the cookies Bryan kept SNATCHING them from missy!! If I were her I'd be super annoyed at him, and treat him the same way she does! And omg, did y'all notice that when they were looking at the toy, every time Bryan tried to touch it you can see Ollie SLAPPING his hand!!! Wth

Ollie was trying to put his finger on the "try me" button and Bryan was reading the box and moving Ollie's hand out of the way?

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
I had a student whose older sibling was 13 years older. They treated him like a little prince. He was so obnoxious. He discovered school was not like home. He had to wait his turn, he had to wait to eat snack and lunch. He had jobs he had to do. After a few weeks he learned I did not bend so he conformed to school life. I think if Ollie has a teacher who is loving, but firm he will do well. Kids love structure. They love knowing what's happening next. There is no structure at home. You never know who will be walking through the door for a FUN day. Ollie won't be on display either. School may be the best place for him. I just hope he is not in the same class as his cousin. He is so insecure I think he will cling to her. Plus she will interpret for him.
