Some commented what an inspiring love story I guess they will be happy to let 18/19yo boys around the quads at 13

What a brilliant idea. My guess is they will have 4 in the new house so they can still sleep late and leave them caged.mrsbarnaby wrote:This is my daughters bed. Why can I imagine them wanting these beds for the wrong reasons?
I don't think they realised they wouldn't be able to lock the girls up in their cots forever.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
Honestly, if you research child sleep needs, it is still recommended that children at 2.5 get 10-2 at night and a nap of 1-3 hours. This obviously depends upon the child. And, most sleep consultants will also tell you to transition from the crib at as close to 3 as possible. So, I'm not all that concerned for them with these areas WITH THE EXCEPTION OF the fact that they were/are climbing out. This is obviously a concern. I will admit that I know many mom's who moved the mattress to the floor to buy some more time. This also doesn't grind my gears the way it seems to bother many, but that is OK to have differing opinions.
But....
I simply can't understand how they eat out 2-3 times a day every day of the week. I literally do not think there is a day that goes by without them eating all meals at home. Whoever mentioned that they haven't had anything green is right. I have seen them eat lettuce from a salad but I doubt they even really ate it. I think that was more for show. But, what about something simple like cucumber? Hell- even open a can of veggies for goodness sake. They even sell steamable bags of frozen veggies in the damn microwave. It's not hard to try.
I also can't get over this constipation thing either. They sell gentle probiotics with regularity- packets of powder that can be mixed with applesauce or yogurt (two things I don't ever see them eat either). I mean, it would be so easy to help the poor kid out in a way that doesn't involve a damn enema. Talk about traumatic probably.
Those shoes were redic. Having one child with fat feet, I can tell you that they really probably did size up to make them fit at least Scarlett and evie. But all 4 were like 2 sizes too big. No wonder they fall so much.
I have 2 year old twins. They have never had a boo boo big enough to need a bandaid. I just didn't even start that drama. Half of their bandaids are unnecessary to say the least.
That's a wrap for me for now.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
Omg, are they really giving those girls enemas? I hope not. How terrifying.
Another NOVEL IDEA: Eat right and at home. Applesauce helps a lot too. I bet they'd love it!

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
It IS cute to dress the girls alike, and if I had quads I might do it too. But I do think it hampers recognizing and acknowledging them as individuals. Especially in the case of these poor Gardner girls.
Sometimes I wonder if this is part of Evie's problem. She has no individual rights, and isn't learning to recognize them in others.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
Sneaky_snarky. For me it is not the amount of sleep time it is the fact that for the past year when the girls woke up they took bottles in to them, put toys in their beds and left them for at least another hour I'm pretty sure after naps the same bottle habit. I'd bet money the bottles are not totally gone. I don't have a problem with a child being in a baby bed as long as they are not crawling out. Some kids are ready and some are not.
Snarky is as snarky does!
Re: Gardner Quad Squad
Why put blankets in the windows? Maybe the girls have had enough sleep and don't need to sleep longer. They aren't infants anymore. I think it is the parents who want to sleep longer. I noticed at the 4th of July fireworks that Hazy Bingham went to hug goodbye to Scarlett and she just sat there and didn't hug back or understand what to do. Ashley had a lot of help with the girls, why didn't they take them over to play with the bounce house and rides that were there instead of having them just sit there and eat?
I noticed the shoes the bigger girls had on at Costco were so big, they will be able to wear them for their first day of school. No wonder they need so many band aids.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
One time at breakfast the girls were given huge red pepper slices that they promptly threw on the floor.
And Tyson was like "see we tried, they just won't eat veggies!".
He knew they wouldn't eat the peppers like that, he just wanted to prove us "haters" wrong.
Yeah, cause that's exactly how you introduce children to new foods.
The Band-Aid obsession lately is absolutely ridiculous!
Just like when they made a massive deal of Indie's skinned knee, it's encouraging the girls to be overly dramatic about minor injuries.
That's a excellent way to turn your kids in to whiny wimps, you idiots! I bet that will serve them well in real life.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad
Did they tell Hazy to hug Scarlett goodbye?
Silly them, surely they know that at almost 3 years old, the words are "give her loves"!
Not that I really think Scarlett would have responded even to that.

So if the quads are going on 3 then that means in 10 years they can have boyfriends.
CRAP posted a happy 4th of July pic on FB and proclaimed it to be the best day of her life ever because 16 years ago today is when she met Fatso. So if she is turning 30 (I think?) this month then that would make her
14 when she met the White Bellied Whale. Wait no that's wrong her birthday is after the 4th of July so that official would make her 13 when they met.
So yeah the quads can start looking for their husbands in 10 years as soon as they turn 13.
Come on Sophie there's got to be a good story here...
Welcome to the Snarkside
Re: Gardner Quad Squad
On the morning of the day Tyrant went to his reunion he said "no boys" to the girls before he left. He then focused the camera on himself and said "no boys EVER".
Wonder what Mimi and Papa thought when he said that....
I haven't watched today's vlog, but Esme looks 'frozen' in the picture. Her hair tie may have pulled her whole body tight! *Sigh*
Someone commented that Evie and Scarlett "both have their tongues out". Someone else replied "no they don't!"
I'd like to point out that, no, it's not their tongues. It's their wubby and bottle teeth being pushed out into their lips!

oh that is just pitiful. Poor kids. I can't imagine how they are going to look entering elementary school.

The bench pic on fb. Evie definitely has a crossbite. Are they afraid to take them to the dentist again? Oh, they just took them for TLC.

Let's hope these parents cherish their children better than the Greedners!Snarky Lady wrote:Well the Gardners have competition. The all girl Ponto quads were born today in MN.
I follow a Canadian family on Facebook. Mother posts pictures regularly. They live in a small town. The girls are identical quadruplets, conceived spontaneously. They're adorable!!
