I kind of expect the grandparents will be doing the school duties. I really doubt Missy and Bryan will ever do a morning school drop-off after the first day.janem wrote:Ollie will not last in school because of his parents laziness.

They are always sick. Just look how they eat. I would hate to see the kids cholesterol already. Finn eats anything and everything, that is around. She was giving him Starbucks and a cookie, one morning. With the size of Bryan and his family, I would think that they would be more watchful of what they eat.tintin15 wrote:They ALWAYS let the boys' noses run. It takes two seconds to wipe! How lazy can you be? Not only do these boys probably feel like crap 90% of the time (their noses are ALWAYS running, so they must have allergies, or just get a horrifying amount of colds), but a runny nose is frustrating.lmmomSD wrote:And his eyes-- he's either got allergic shiners, or he just wasn't feeling good. Seems like the intrigue of chickens is wearing off and Missy's laziness is kicking in. It was only a matter of time. The girl has no purpose or motivation...onbreak wrote:I wonder how many eggs the chickens actually ate.. Looks like no one collected since they went to AL.

Another trapped title.....can someone trap Bryan!! I love how they put Finn in between them at breakfast since normally he's shoved to the side of the table in the high chair! They have to put on a performance for Kelsey and Corbin since they take parenting seriously! Why are they asking Ollie what the theme should be for Finn's birthday? First off it should be what Finn wants and secondly do they ever consider what their kids want? They always do what they want to do! "Right now we're just being lazy" - Missy's famous line which she uses since according to her she's NEVER lazy hahaha Does Missy ever feel stupid for not cooking atleast one meal in their home? We know Bryan cooks because the only other option for them is eating out! How can you call yourself a Mother and not make something fresh for your children to eat? It's just sad and disgusting that she doesn't even care to take the time and LEARN to make something!

Someone was saying that Missy sounded like she wanted a Toys r Us sponsorship. Did you hear her when they were walking into Hobby Lobby? "We"re going to Hobby Lobby, which is an amazing store, where you can find everything you need". WTF? "Please sponsor me! Give me free stuff and I will talk about your business in my vlogs!"

Shes so arrogant. Hard to believe four years ago she was living in a garage in her parents home.
Kelsie is so happy away from Corbin.. Thats the dirt i want to see. Those two talking about their poser husbands.

Well, technically they had 4 boys.. Both the stillbirth and miscarriage prior to Ollie were boys, too. I dont think there is anything wrong with desiring/fantasising about a daughter, or a mother-daughter relationship. You can have "hopes and dreams". I dont think it's fair to criticise that. We see her neglecting her boys. It's so unfortunate! We see how she is with little June. Bryan turns into mush around Juniper. Like in today's vlog. We can tell if they have a girl in the future she'll be treated like a princess, maybe even better than Ollie.
I am not defending their horrible parenting decisions. I just don't think that wanting a girl is bad. I wouldn't say it's obsessive like some of you are saying. Their hopes and dreams of having a girl can backfire and she's this little rebel. If you dont put work into parenting the kids won't turn out respecting their parents. Which is what is going to happen with these boys. No matter what they want for their hypothetical baby girl, it's going to backfire and the tea parties Missy wants with her wont happen. Who cares. But I dont think it's bad having dreams like that.
We know Bonnie Hoellein was quite disappointed in Lincoln being a boy, but the way she dealt with it was great. She was open and honest and it looks like she adores him just as much as she adores her other kids. We know Missy didnt do that at all. She obviously treats Finn like crap.

Re: Daily"Oll"AboutOllie (Daily Bumps) - Part 92
Therein lies the real problem. They want a girl so badly that any boy is treated as a disappointment. Ollie is treated okay because he's the first child born to them and a miracle. Finn is just another boy...wanting another gender is fine. Gender disappointment to the point where you don't like your kid is bad.amyfalafal wrote:Well, technically they had 4 boys.. Not sure if you missed the post where someone mentioned the gender disappointment goes as far back as the boys she lost. Every pregnancy, she has been convinced she's having a girl and experiences gender disappointment when she's told time and time again that baby, is indeed, a boy.

True however they could've said say "Hey, no presents. Instead please donate to X in honor of Ollie, etc..." A rich family I nannied for years ago did this every birthday. It was never an issueja14 wrote:I think it would have been rude to donate the gifts when the giver still decided to give him those things after the no gift request. You made out point yourself. There's nothing wrong with "hopes and dreams". There is something wrong with neglecting your son and resenting him because he's not a girl. There's something wrong with saying only a girl can be her "best friend". Actually there's something wrong with counting on your child to be your "best friend". I have great, friendly relationships with both my kids. But I am still their mom. I don't need them to be my best friend. I have friends for that, and sisters, and a brother.amyfalafal wrote:Well, technically they had 4 boys.. Both the stillbirth and miscarriage prior to Ollie were boys, too. And the thing is -- Finn is so ready to be her best friend now. Someone said here once that he lights up when he sees Missy. He is the most good natured little guy and clearly thinks she hung the moon (for now). Heck, maybe he'll even enjoy tea parties!tintin15 wrote:I don't care if they want a girl. I hope I have girls when I have kids because there are no boy names I like (lol jk. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a name if I ever have a boy )
They're obsessed. They're disappointed in having boys and show it. They want a girl because they can dress her up, give her girly toys, and like it was said...she wants a best friend like she and her mom are. That's so harmful...one, children can play with any toys. Genders for toys are make believe. Two...what if a little girl isn't what they want? Are they still going to make her dress up, get her nails done, be a dainty little girl? That would be awful.
You should embrace your children for who they are. It shouldn't be based on genitals and your predisposed ideas that go along with those genitals.
I do remember being super surprised they were so gung ho about Ollie getting that toy kitchen -- I was so sure that they would frown on that with their weird regressive ideas. Maybe because Bryan is the cook in their house?

Also -- sorry for the double post but this is not remotely related to my last one.
I just watched Finn's gender reveal and WOW. I started watching/hating right after they moved to the new house -- so aside from a few videos here and there, I hadn't really watched anything other than their first few videos. Holy shit. What a sweet little party with their family (teeny tiny Peyton! and CJ and Bailey!). And how far removed from the insane stuff they do now.
Now I feel like I get what y'all are always going on and on about when you say how much they've changed.

Watch Ollie's second birthday party. It was sweet, and they were actually sheepish about all the crap they bought him. I think they were just really making big bucks. And they went nuts for Ollie's second birthday. It's so cute to see how embarrassed they were, and how Bryan was saying "Yeah, we went overboard".lurkernomore wrote:Also -- sorry for the double post but this is not remotely related to my last one.

Re: Daily"Oll"AboutOllie (Daily Bumps) - Part 92
I know everyone feels differently about things, but I couldn't imagine being upset when losing a baby because it's a boy. I'd definitely be more upset that I lost a baby at all. Missy's want for a girl goes too far and twists her emotions/relationships with her lost boys and her current boys. It's really sad. This is why I think her want for a girl is verging on obsession rather than a simple dream.
I think Missy's emotions are so weird. She has no attachment to animals and no real, head over heels love for her boys because they're boys. She doesn't even seem to like her husband. She dislikes her in-laws who seem very sweet. The only people she REALLY seems to love are her parents...even her relationships with Cassie and especially Jimmy aren't very loving. I would say it's because she's just awkward and doesn't like to show emotion, but her love for her parents (especially Papa) is obvious.

Off topic a little... I didn't see brylards sister or mom at the bday party. How would you feel knowing that they paid for their friends to fly first class to the party but not ollies own grandmother. It's stuff like that makes those two so deplorable. We know missy doesn't like his family but to pass over them like that, there really isn't any excuse.
