Sure there are a ton of indoor things to do with kids, but i can also get not wanting to go to the jump park every day too. For us, Costco is a 45 min drive, so we make lists plan it out and stock up when we go once or twice a month. If i had a costco closer too me, i would probably go more often. I also think they have the same bad habit i get into. Not buying everything i need at the store when i'm there so I'm not making a stop every day. I'm so bad about that. I go to the grocery store almost every day on my way home from work and its a bad habit.. I feel like they probably are the same way. They stop in costco bc they need one thing. then the next day open the cabinet and realize they need something else and make another trip. I think them both being at home also makes this more of a habit. It's not a big deal for them to drop everything at 2;30 on a tuesday to run to costco to grab diapers and something for dinner...
...and multiple beanbag chairs, new luggage... They aren't running in to grab one thing. It's a full cart or more every time. Plus they do the grocery delivery service on top of whatever they're buying at the big box stores.

Oh yeah it's a bad habit for sure, impulse buys will get you when you are in a store 15 times a month compared to 2-3.. It's one thing to impulse buy that bean bag chair on one trip, but when you start buying something you don't need (not saying that the chair wasn't needed for the play room and maybe they did need new luggage.. and they are just moving in and stuff like that is inevitable. that house is a lot bigger and needs a lot more stuff than the old house BUT... i digress. lol) it starts to add up. We all know how hard it is to walk into a store needing one thing, but then we come out with 12 bags of shit. It's worse if they continue to do this all the time. Which we have been seeing more of lately. I understand only bc i have that bad habit myself. Doesn't make it ok, bc i know i shouldnt do it, but i do understand it.

I hate Cullen vlogging and driving. It makes me insane. But I have to admit that when he was looking at the tire pressure light, the car wasn't moving.
Granted, the Suburban shouldn't have overheated, but still...
I think they go to Costco so much because they're bored.
Gaines is so amazing. "Your Suburban overheated". And she's a year and a half younger than Ollie. But her vocabulary and expression is so far beyond his. I know it's not right to compare kids, but how can Bryan and Missy see her and not want to get Ollie evaluated?

I wonder how much she drives that car now though. I know its not an excuse, but if shes not driving it every day like she used too i can see how it could go that many days over a recommended service. they should still stay on top of it better. It did sound like Cullen was giving her a hard time for not telling him all this stuff was going on with the car before now.
And i was going to mention that about the car not moving. At the most it looked like under 5 mph, they weren't buzzing down the highway like he has done in the past.
Gaines shocks me daily on the things she says and how mature she is. I forget so often that she is so much younger than Ollie. I swear their development could almost be switched at this point. He's more on her age level and shes more on his. I would be concerned big time if I were Bryan and Missy. I wonder what they will do when he enters a classroom and isn't at the top of the class bc of their laziness? I bet Missy is a nervous wreck about where he is developmentally. I also wonder if when they get Ollie into school and see how behind he is, if they will step up their game with Finn and actually have him better prepared than his brother?
Do you really think they would admit Ollie is behind, by stepping up their game with Finn. Their motto -What's good for Ollie is more than what Finn deserves. Finn is the sweetest thing in that house.

Oh, Target is notorious for that. It's a big deal to walk out of there without dropping $100!

And if people are saying that they've seemed to want some time away from each other, maybe money is causing their friction. It's one of the biggest causes of arguments. And when their "BFF'S" are throwing money around like it's nothing, and they struggled to get to 500K subscribers, I can see some problems, especially right after those friends fly out first class for the weekend and flaunt their cash...

Yes but on the other hand we've also seen E&J earned more in a certain month than the max estimate, which was estimated on $50k per month at the time, while their income for that particular month had been $59k. So I don't know anymore how estimate their incomes. Also, socialblade doesn't account for sponsorship, so while they could earn a little more than half of socialblade's estimate, the other half let's say, might come from sponsorship. Also their new car might be sponsored? Or maybe not - did they mention the brand? The car was extensively filmed.

That car is just a loaner from the dealership while the Suburban gets fixed. Cullen stated that at the beginning of the vlog. I think he was just showing off the car... If it was the Malibu you are talking about anyway.. I don't think the Suburban was a sponsor either, they haven't been making vlog commercials for it like E&J have to do with the pacifica.
(also, i'm glad they get a loaner, thats the least the dealership could have done given the situation. Although i would have made a stink wanting something that was comparable to the car i JUST BOUGHT brand new 8 months ago that is now in the shop having major repairs done....)

It _is_ hard to tell exactly what they make because Social Blade doesn't include sponsored vlogs or the even more difficult to quantify product placement. I will go to my grave thinking Uncrustables was product placement. Every vlogger that feeds them to their kids mentions the name. So, they're probably making more than we think, but I still don't think it's enough to support them long term, or to have good savings for retirement. Or maybe they figure on an inheritance to support their retirement. It'll be interesting to see how it goes for them.

No they wont ever mention it, and will still find ways that Ollie is better than Finn "Oh finn is talking in full paragraphs and reading independently at 4? Well Ollie only spit on one kid this week at school, hes just the greatest kid ever!!!!!"

Actually, E&J's estimate was over a million at the time, so it was in keeping with it. YTers may sometimes make more than the estimate in mo the with extra income, but it is usually in the low to middle range and very inconsistent.

Lol, Gaines saying her mom "is so dramatic" had me rolling! For some reason Brooks' giggling doesn't sound cute to me, just slightly annoying.

Omg, I would have freaked if I saw someone driving my car too! He does make a point about you never know what people could be doing to your property, such as your vehicle. Take it in for something minor, they mess with your car so you'll have to pay more money. This happens and it's sad. Always take your vehicle to a reputable repair shop for repairs and inspections.

Also! I'm glad Katie is educated about car seats - one of my pet peeves is seeing parents post pictures of their children improperly buckled (chest clip is way below their armpits, the straps are higher above their shoulders, etc). Plenty of places offer free car seat inspection to make sure the car seat is installed correctly and show you how to properly buckle your child in. I got mine done last weekend and everything I did was correct but they informed me that having the back seat mirror for rear facing and window shades are not recommended because if you're in an accident, they could easily fly off and hit the child. Never thought of that!

Does he not understand that car repair places do take cars out for test drives to make sure that problems are solved? Yes, it would be freaky to see someone driving your car but it doesn't automatically mean that your car repair place is screwing with you. My guy always takes my car out to make sure it's ok-- especially with leak issues.

Never thought of that!

Yes, it would be freaky to see someone driving your car but it doesn't automatically mean that your car repair place is screwing with you. My guy always takes my car out to make sure it's ok-- especially with leak issues.

I understand that but to see your car driven by someone else would catch anyone off guard. ;) He wasn't saying that because he saw them driving their car that all places are shady, just making a point. I do know from first hand that some vehicle repair places like to take advantage of women because they assume we don't know about car issues and try to rip us off. I believe he was just offering insight.

Baconsgirl - Yes!! It does sound like that and that's probably why it bothers me

I guess I am just so over the dramatics. I knew the minute I saw the title that it was probably a repair person test driving his car. Just like you know when the vlog title is "Is She Pregnant?" you can pretty much assume she's not. It's not just C&K. It's all vloggers these days. The scrambling for views to keep the lifestyle-- it's getting beyond ridiculous. SlyFox actually are asking their mostly 9 year old audience, who have no idea what is involved, if they should have a baby. And where they should move-- including other countries. All the changes depress me. They start out vlogging their lives and then the vlogs _become_ their lives. Their children get hurt and their first impulse is to grab the camera.
Rant over.

Cullen was joking around with the whole situation, he didn't think it had actually been stolen. He knew thats what they were doing. The guy from the dealership was joking too, saying they had just got back from Nashville with the Suburban and Cullen fired back that they had driven the loaner to Utah..

I keep unsubbing but my daughter always subs back.. no clue why, she doesn't even watch them!!!!! LOL
