It's another woman touching Jared and giving him attention. If he likes the haircut then it's another woman doing a better job of cutting his hair.... and that's basically being better than Ellie. That just won't do. She is his queen and master.

This is the kind of vlog i like lots of the kids thats what i was saying the other day when i told them off. I think she was trying to show us how Calvin can talk. But really even if you dont like Ellie dont you think jared was rude when he said this was his favorite haircut. You could see in her face he hurt her feelings. Jackson as usual was the sweetest in this vlog. These are the types I will watch several times. I hope the kids go to cvx too.

Joel got an amazing haircut in Hawaii and had no problem telling Bonnie he liked it. She even agreed it was better than what she could do! Then again, they have a far more secure relationship than E&J do.

^^^^ in this instance, and I think that's why it was ok. In general though, I think it's an issue of jealousy.... and saving money... and doing things the way her family always did them.

I've read before that a lot of LDS girls will take hair school while looking for a husband because they expect to have a lot of kids and this will help them save money. It's not that they actually want to do that as a career. It's always all about being a wife and mother and staying home.

Truthfully, hair school is very informative. You learn so much more than just basic hair cuts and hair washing techniques. We had to go to school for 1600 hours in Maryland and have to pass a state test. Not sure what ellie had to do.
I think if you have the chance to apprentice at a salon go for it.
I think she went to a trade class in high school.. Maybe at most, an apprentice at a shop.. No way did she read or ever open a Milady's book.
Good for jared getting his routine switched up. Last time I pointed out-- you never see ellie continuing her hair education, or cutting anyones hair, except the boys, her mom came over for hair cut.

Pretty sure it was a male barber that cut their hair. It's early here in Australia, but not so early that I would get my sexes confused.

I hadn't seen their vlogs in two weeks and watched today's. Watching paint dry is more entertaining. If I were them, I'd start working on my resume.

I wouldn't say it's what she eats, it's how much (or little) she eats. I've seen her cook up some veggies, red meat, fish, all kinds of good stuff, but then I look at her plate and sigh, that woman eats like a bird!

Think of it this way. You make the best spagetti and meatballs. You take pride in cooking that meal for your husband once a week and he always enjoys it. The pages are probably for the game of Bingo that him and C&K are doing together at CVX. They went to Best Buy and bought several Instant camera's and other things to give away as prizes.

^^ I agree! He has every right to say that that was his best haircut, ever because it's the truth. I want my husband to be honest with me! Even with the spaghetti and meatballs example. If he liked it more than mine, then I would get the recipe from my friend so I could make it for my husband. I would rather have him be honest with me than not say anything. Ellie could use this as an opportunity to learn new hair cutting techniques, or she could just let it go and look at it that her husband is happy and it's one less thing she had to do. Instead she gives into her pride and gets hurt and upset.

Is Jared supposed to be secretly unhappy with his hair just to make Ellie happy? I think that is ridiculous. It's his hair!
