Is it cynical to say if they're making this job that they need to upload on time? If this was a 9-5 job and didn't meet deadlines they would get in trouble with their bosses. I understand life happens,but I think upload times should be consistent. I understand about being late on Holidays though.

the only reason "late" vlogs dont bother me, is well first off i don't really care what time anyone posts, its never been something i worried about, unless something was going on and i worried about them bc they hadn't posted.. (i can think of a couple times when someone has been really sick or when katie was pregnant that a later vlog made me a little worried bc i was concerned something had happened.) the other thing is i don't think they have ever said Vlogs will be up at x time every day.. They are pretty consistently uploading by lunch (their time) at the latest, unless it's way after lunch and no vlog is up, then i wonder what might be going on, but it certainly isn't something i get upset about (not saying you are upset!). I'm sure that if i was a vlogger i would do the same as they do, i'm not gonna promise a vlog at the same time everyday, bc shit happens, but i would try and get them published before lunch every day. Thats where B&M get into trouble with the minions, they used too (idk if they still do) promote that they had a new vlog every day at 9am. (i think it was 9) The second it turned 9:01 the kids would freak the freak out WHATS WRONG WHY IS THE VLOG LATE IS THERE NO VLOG TODAY OMGGGGGGG!!!!!! And that would drive me bananas. LOL

I totally understand that, but i guess the flip side of that is there are perks of being your own boss? You set your own deadlines. I do think they should be consistent, and if in a weeks time they had 7 vlogs going up at times ranging from 8am to 8pm with no real schedule it would be confusing. I guess what i mean is as long as they set a deadline for themselves (like with C&K i feel like noon is their self made deadline) and are consistently meeting that deadline then it doesn't bother me that they might upload at 9 or it could be 11. I know myself, i have deadlines with work like that, just as long as i have XY&Z done before 5pm im good. It doesn't matter if i submit it at 8am or noon or at 4:58pm, just as long as its done before 5. I guess some jobs may be stricter about that, and i guess that makes me a little bias, but thats just how i see it.

For all the negativity Cullen and Katie receive, there is one thing I know for sure. They made one heck of an adorable and amazing little girl! I am so smitten with Gaines, I just smile ever time I see her! From her speaking ability to her being just plain smart as heck, that little dynamite has me wrapped!!!! They are doing freaking amazing with her!

I think it's cute, but also kind of sad. Because obviously, that's what she sees the most of. She's only 2 1/2, and what she sees the most of is people talking to each other through cameras. And not eating a baked potato with cheese on it, because "I don't like it"-- I wonder if they broke down and made her mac and cheese.

Her interaction with the camera was very telling. She repeated herself over and over asking everyone the same questions multiple times and in the end said "cut" you know she probably has to repeat herself for the camera all the time.

Just watched Gaines 12 month update because it came up on the recommended after Brooks 12 month update. It's amazing how completely different they are. Gaines at that age was around the same level as my 20 month old.

Not disagreeing. Honestly interested in what you think is different about them. I am fascinated by the way vloggers change. I know I have said it before, but it seems to me that they start out vlogging their lives, and then the vlogs _become_ their lives. They start trying to find what gets more views and do more of that, and stop being authentic. So, what do you think has changed about them?

Maybe. Maybe I totally misunderstood.
Why did Cullen have to go there with the "balls in my face" comment? You just know he was all excited about making that joke and worked hard to set it up.
Brooks is running them ragged, and I just have to chuckle because they were so smug about how easy Gaines was, and how people who said parenting was hard didn't know what they were talking about. And if your kid is out of control in the restaurant, just take him outside and take turns walking around with him. Jeez. Don't just sit there at the table and complain.
I could go all day without the super close-up of their faces.

I meant Gaines vs Brooks. Brooks is so rambunctious and not much of a talker yet. Gaines is the total opposite. She would just sit where they placed her and little chatter box. I love both of them but have a soft spot for Brooks because he reminds me of my youngest. Bad temper and rambunctious but also sweet and full of personality.

I do believe they have changed because their vlogs annoy me most of the time where I used to smile the entire time I watched. I don't even watch them daily anymore.
