"My dad's house burned down." Recap
Jess and Lilia open the vlog. Lilia thinks her loose tooth is going to come out that day. Jess thinks her second grade picture with two missing teeth is going to be "adorable" and was "her dream"...uh, I'm just dreaming of a decent picture for mine, but whatever floats your boat!
Lilia starts singing "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." Jess explains that Gabe and Amber are taking Lilia for a bit to go do engagement pictures but they'll be bringing her back later. The next day is Landen's appointment at UCSF.
Jess presents a "mom hack" that almost everyone knew - cut baby's nails when they're asleep. Any advice on toddlers who didn't fall for that as babies? (Asking for a friend

Jess goes downstairs and finds Kyson and Kaden sweeping up spilled cat food. Kaden blames "a bad boy" and points to Kyson. Picking up your mother's habits already, Kaden?
Lilia leaves with Gabe, Jess finishes editing a video, and Jess explains they're trying to make that last day before Landen's appointment and school starting a fun day for the kids. There's immediately mention of the sponsor noted in the comments, Moose Games sending them Boom Blast Stix. Jess asks the kids how to play and I can barely understand any of them, so she asks Chris to explain. Basically there are these little pieces you put into triangles and you have to stack them on this thing and if it pops when you put your piece on, you lose and the other players win (I think that's how it works lol). The kids genuinely seem to enjoy it.
The AC is still broken. Jess throws her hair back in a ponytail and they take the smaller car to do errands since they don't have Lilia, Tommy, or Caden. Before they do school shopping, they're going to go see Gigi (Jess's dad's mom). Jess goes on about how she calls her biological dad Papa and how a few days prior to the day this video was filmed, her Papa's house burned down and he lost everything. They (Papa and Tyler, a brother) weren't home at the time, but they literally only have the clothes on their backs and clothes in suitcases that they took to Tyler's tournament. They lost pictures Gigi gave them for Papa's 50th birthday...basically everything.
Chris and Jess drive to where Papa's house was and find the garage, then the half-burned (from the looks of it) house. The boys are surprised to see what they see. Papa is evidently staying in a hotel. They survey the damage and Papa arrives. Kaden asks if the quad is OK (it is) and finds Papa's toaster. The suspected culprit of the house fire is seeming to be a lithium-ion battery from a plugged in laptop or some sort of wall thing for electronics. Chris makes a poor taste joke about a hot tub, because it's Chris. Pops (Papa's dad) comes over and talks for a bit.
Addie crawls around and picks up Jess's camera (they're at Gigi and Pops' now and so Addie's in the grass). They leave Gigi's house and go to the store for school lunch ideas "for four picky children." She doesn't want to be "that parent," (which one?) so she wants to try and find "healthier" options that all the kids will eat. She wants to make all the kids happy but still enforce healthy ideas. GOOD LUCK, especially when a gigantic container of Goldfish is in your cart...
Back home, Amber and Gabe are visiting. As Jess and Amber talk to the camera about a challenge video, Gabe and Chris try to escape in the car without the camera (unsuccessfully). Chris explains that they're (Jess and Amber) doing a baby food challenge and because Jess made him take the camera, he's getting the worst/most disgusting stuff. They pick out baby food for the challenge with some interesting flavors (challenge is up on Gabe and Amber's channel or Amber's channel or whatever
Fresco Family Vlogs). They agree that they should have gotten a basket, so Gabe goes to retrieve one and comes back with a baby cart because "apparently no one believes in baskets anymore."
Back at the SkuRoquilin house, Chris and Gabe talk about how they got everything they needed, including "props," to a very confused Jess. Chris shows off what they got (except the food) and the girls crack up over the "jet plane" spoons and the baby bibs.
Jess and Amber have done the challenge and Jess apparently got all the meat baby food. Some of the kids go home with Gabe and Amber and others go with Gigi so that they can take Landen (and Addie more than likely) to Landen's appointment the next day.
