I mean, it's been 5 years. It's actually a bit weird to still be actively mourning a failed pregnancy after half a decade. A few private moments to remember? Normal. Full on public grieving every anniversary? Totally not normal.
I know everyone handles loss differently, but, as someone who lost multiple pregnancies, choosing not to dwell on it indefinitely is perfectly acceptable. I'm gonna be honest, I no longer even remember what day my second trimester loss was anymore. It was ten years ago and I've got three healthy children now. I'm not mourning the ones I lost anymore, and it's not callous to move on.

They don't have to ever mention their losses again if they're at peace with it. It'd be different if they trotted it out constantly for views and then ignored the anniversary, but their losses are really only brought up when media interviews them and covers their backstory/YouTube beginning. They're allowed to stop observing the anniversary of a five year old pregnancy loss if it no longer causes intense heartache.

But why is it still important enough to bring up in media interviews?

I mean, we aren't talking about bringing it up in the vlog, it just surprises me they don't address it on social media. He has a name and a birthdate. He was their first born child.... I think comparing it to the distant memory of a second trimester loss is a bit like apples and oranges.

That said, if they didn't bring it up in media interviews it would bother me a lot less.

Gabriel was a missed miscarriage. The pregnancy ended between 16-17 weeks. My loss was at 14.5 weeks. Those are both second trimester miscarriages. Apples to apples. Just because she calls it a stillbirth, doesn't make it medically accurate.

They're allowed to no longer be gutted at the loss half a decade later.

And I'm not sure that they do bring it up in interviews anymore. The article writers usually include a blurb about their losses, but in a way that seems like they're using old quotes. The last one we know of for sure that they brought up was filmed a year and a half ago at Bryan's birthday/launch party.

Look, I think they're conniving and scrupulous people who capitalized on personal tragedy. It's sick, and I think it was planned from the moment Missy had her first miscarriage and started a blog. But I don't think it's abnormal at all for them to have moved on. Most people do. It's normal to get over even the hardest of losses and move on. I can't fault someone for not publicly mourning an old loss.

I'm really confused as to how her makeup looks completely flawless after working with a personal trainer and "running 2 miles". Also, who wears full face makeup to the gym? I cannot take that seriously. It's the gym, not a fashion show.
This is controversial... the make up lovers will tell you to fuck off, that's what setting spray is for lol but I'm also not a fan of makeup at the gym, some girls just really can't stand to be bare faced OR they're trying to look hot while working out to attract men which honestly may be Missy's case? She may be fooling around at the gym...

No honey. They went to high school together, they were all best friends. And we speculate bc the night before Corbin got married Missy ran up to him and wrapped her legs around his body & Bryan was totally not ok with it... very odd plus the way she acts around Corbin. It's fishy fishy
Oh ok! For some reason I thought I had read here before that they were related. That would be super odd, even for them lol

Missy and Jeff Johnson (of The Johnson Fam "fame") are cousins. Corbin is just the one who preferred Missy's BFF Kelsey over her. They've known each other since high school.

I understand it's a missed miscarriage, and have been there myself.... BUT the difference for me is how they misrepresented things, and continue to do so when the opportunity arises. That to me is sick. We have given them the benefit of the doubt many times that it felt like a stilbirth to her because she was able to have his footprint, name him, identify gender, etc. Her actions and the way it is now dismissed as a miscarriage unless it's a convenient way to get attention disgusts me.

I would be equally disgusted by someone that exaggerated and called having a benign tumour removal a cancer journey. I know they lie, but this is a pretty disgusting one and if they are going to do it, should at least have to try to remain consistent with their story.

Because media wants to know how and why they got started.

Ollie can't say his own name.

Oh-wy. He pronounced it Oh-wy trying to get the toy to repeat it.

This one and the gem from Shorty02 (which is quite possibly one of my favourite lines ever on this forum): "I'm an adult so my opinion probably means very little in this scenario, but why would anyone want a "poop" bath bomb? It looked like they were bathing in diarrhea." Too funny. And too true!

They're really co-dependent on each other. Yesterday Missy face timed Bryan from the craft store to show him cute Halloween decorations (that she didn't even plan on buying), and today Bryan face timed her to show her Ollie's haircut, that she would presumably be seeing within the hour anyway.

Setting aside the fact that their data usage must be through the flipping roof, but who needs to be connected to their spouse that much? It's one thing to text/call to ask a question or find out if they need something while they're out, but to carry on a full face to face conversation? Just go shopping together, ffs.

Ellie and Jared are like this as well. I think they all think it makes it look like they are just that more in love with eachother than everyone else, but I find it very insecure and unhealthy.

Then again, I have a husband with a demanding job and he can't possibly be at my beck and call like that.

I don't see why they don't just text pictures to each other...? There's no reason to face time each other, for sure. If Missy wanted to show Bryan decorations she liked but wasn't going to buy, she definitely could have just snapped a picture and sent it...that's pretty weird. I honestly didn't even know they were like this.
