I am feeling so much rage about their focus on looks and lack of individuality.
I do think they really love their children. I do think they probably even want what's best for them. But they very selfish, greedy parents and are woefully underprepared for parenting. You can praise your children and encourage their skills without trite sayings that have no meaning because you have said it thousands of times before.
Stop talking about their looks. Stop saying good job for everything. Spend some one on one time with them, it would actually be much more interesting and better for the girls if they did.

Oh my God you guuuuyyyyssss!!!! Their famous ham fried rice recipe is up. Some dumb ass KAD said that they should make a cookbook. Are you fucking kidding me?? How could they when they eat out all the freaking time and do NOT cook. What would even be in there? Maybe it could be called "Asswipe $ Two Tons Ideas of How NOT to Cook Cookbook - Get Donuts Instead." Then there is a link to the recipe, which is on their blog and has grammar mistakes. Good job! In the blog, which is dated last year, she says she likes home cooked food better. Really? Since when? They also posted a picture of the finished food. Someone else posted another link for the recipe, which has professional pictures of the food and has the exact same picture they used, and asks them "can you not take your own photo?" Are they seriously trying to pass it off as their own cooked food in the picture?

I agree with you and I would also add that they just don't know any better.AthenaA wrote:I am feeling so much rage about their focus on looks and lack of individuality.

I don't think they know how to feed the girls a proper diet, what activities are appreciate for kids their age, why and how they are delayed, etc.
But I also think they enjoy their spending and their stuff and their meals out and that while they love the girls they're just too lazy to put in the work to be good parents.

Oh my gosh...their vlogs are just Groundhog Day. What's the point? Wakey, wakey, mention fall, eat, show the closet, climb on the table, O face, mention fall, bitch about having no clothes, donits, run around the mall and look at Halloween decorations, mention fall, run out the girlses energy, drop (not so) subtle hints about the girlses sizes, eat at the mall, mention fall, watch Moana, O face, go to a playground, make something famous for dinner (on the rare nights it's not take-out), more running out of the girlses energy, O face, and cause they haven't done it up to this point...MENTION FALL.
And just on the ever-present subject of them thinking one day the FTYOs will just wake up to be functional, typical kids with no food issues, here's my experience. I mentioned on the other site that shall not be named, that I have three kids, 3 1/2 years apart. They're now 16, 13 1/2 and 12 1/2. When my youngest was born, my 2nd child wasn't walking and my baby had reflux I was like for the first year of that transition. I also had a husband working more than full-time and taking up to 24 credits/semester. He was gone all day long. My first two spoiled me by sleeping through the night within 3 month (in fact my oldest started STTN within the first week of being born). So when my baby was waking up multiple times a night, I didn't quite know what to do. I truly gave it a valiant effort in sleep training, but he was determined to wake up multiple times and always wanted to eat. I was SO TIRED, that eventually I started just giving him the bottle in the middle of the night twice/night and let him get himself to sleep. FINALLY around 13 months his reflux was gone so I wasn't worried about him choking during the night but the damage was done and there was no way he was going to sleep on his own if I didn't fix it. So I bought some ear plugs, had him sleep downstairs, and let him cry it out. It took two nights for him, but then he finally started sleeping all night.
However, all that being said, to this day he struggles with food. It's how he comforts himself. It's what he does when he's bored. It's just a reflex for him to go to the fridge. He doesn't have a weight problem, he's a pretty active kid, and I do my best to make sure his meals/snacks aren't empty calories with no nutritional value. But this will be a lifelong battle for him I'm afraid. All because I tried to take the easy way out. And now HE has to pay for MY laziness. It's not fair to him.
Gardners, we know you read here, PLEASE guide your girls in the ways that will be most beneficial FOR THEM. STOP doing things because it's easy. Yes, you have four two-year-olds and I don't think anyone would say that's easy, but it can be EASIER if you implement good habits from the beginning. Your circumstances are unusual, for sure, but LOTS of families (I'd go as far as to say ALL families) have their own unique circumstances that make child-raising--whether or not it's multiples--challenging. It's just the nature of raising happy, healthy, functional kids who will one day, God willing, turn into happy healthy functional adults. But if they've never been taught differently, that not only WON'T happen, it CAN'T happen.
Sorry SISsies...for once, I just typed and typed. I didn't edit or go back and obsessively read it to make sure it makes sense. Just keyboard vomit today.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad: A Miracle Unraveling | Part 7
I have wondered if they didn't think IVF would work. That they'd do it to save face after they did the whole infertility thing for attention. The whole quads this was completely unexpected and now they're in it for the long haul. Lots of people have unexpected kids and get on with it. They may not have planned this and it might be way harder than they thought. At most I think they wanted 1 doll-child.
I think the girls will only get help if they can spin it for pity because again attention seeking.

Someone who is more concerned with form over function. I'm sure she was absolutely mortified that the girls were wearing Nikes with those cute fall outfits yesterday.AthenaA wrote:She was looking at a boot with a small heel? At this point they are losing their "cause" with Esme. She is so fearful these days, and her fears aren't acknowledged. Poor child. They really must work with her, (and not by tossing her down the slide). Giving her a comfort toy or lovey (Busby's term) of HER VERY OWN would help. Notice how she was clinging to that package of baby wipes?
Despite their differences, these attentions-seeking idiots continue treating and dressing the FUF exactly the same, (except shoe size, much to their disappointment). It's easier.

They did that with the soup. Someone asked what kind of camera they used for the shot and a lot of KADs jumped on her, saying it didn't matter, it was her personal choice. Over a fucking camera. Low and behold it turned out the picture was from a professional, NON stock photo. And they had altered the photo some to make it look more like they took it. Which is pretty illegal. It's a good thing the site owner/photographer never pressed charges.GA Peach70 wrote:Oh my God you guuuuyyyyssss!!!! Their famous ham fried rice recipe is up. Same with the potpourri, he used a photo, NON stock, of cloves. Never gave credit. If they're getting ANY kind of income from their blog, this will eventually catch up to them and they will owe money.

Exactly what I thought. Why not change them at the store?tusky wrote:So ashley picked up 2 pairs of boots before going to the next store and didn't put a pair on scarlet?

These vlogs are so boring and repetitive.
I think they are seeing how far back they can scale the vlogs and still keep the KAD watching.
These poor girls are not being intellectually challenged at all. Honestly, animals in the wild would have a better chance at thriving than these girls do.
This whole situation has really gotten to me, lately. It's all just so sad and unnecessary.

If I have learned anything from watching the greedners, which isn't much, it's been to be aware of these things. Like if I tell my two they are pretty/handsome/cute, I always add "and so smart too". Haha! I'm more aware now than I would have been.AthenaA wrote:I am feeling so much rage...Stop talking about their looks. Stop saying good job for everything. Re: Gardner Quad Squad: A Miracle Unraveling | Part 7
Another thought- and I know screen time isn't the answer AT ALL. But, when my two watch tv they are watching age appropriate shows that talk about shapes, numbers, words, letters, cause and consequences, etc.
Though I love me a good Disney movie, that's not educational. So the girls don't even watch age appropriate shows to somewhat help them boost their vocabulary and whatnot. Not all tv is bad. But they don't, to the best of my knowledge, get any of that stuff. Hell, there is even a show on now that teaches about engineering, machines, velocity, pistons, engines, etc. it's amazing.
Anyway... just thinking out loud.

Re: Gardner Quad Squad: A Miracle Unraveling | Part 7
Vlog recap: same shit different day
That wake up routine was torture to my ears. "Wakey wakey!" followed by Tubby's pervy giggle about 12 times. So close to the camera. Ouch. Almost, but not quite as bad, as Assley's squeal. Wubbies and sippy cups full of milk in the crib. That's not going to change ever.
Standing on the kitchen table. Walking on it. Indie close to the edge and no one bats an eye. Probably hoping she will fall to get more views. They act like they have no control over the girls. Wow, can't handle a 2 year old? Wait until they are 13! Geez, the girls sneak out at night, but what are we going to do? There's 4 of them.
Pizza containers on the counter. And sodaliscious, and Café Rio cups as well. So, they went out for lunch yesterday, and later their Instagram story shows the girls in the back of the car holding Wendy's bags while Tubby has ice cream in his beard. Assley asks what he's eating and it's the girls' frosties. So they ate out how many times in the last 48 hours? How long does Assley think she has before the pounds start showing on her, let alone her poor kids.
What are fall shoes exactly? My girls have snow boots for the winter and sandals for the summer, but the rest of the time they wear slip-ons or tennis shoes. I had no idea fall shoes were a thing. Assley makes a big deal about finding 4 of everything at the mall, even the same color of jeans. People in the YT comments were like, why do that to yourselves? They don't need to dress identically! You don't need four of everything, geez louise. Acting like her life is so hard because she has to go to multiple stores and no one has 4 of everything. How about 2 and 2 of each outfit? My girls never dress the same. Two attention-seeking for me, and it sets the wrong precedent for them. They are their own people.
Indie pushes Evie and Assley says, "That's not nice!" I never hear her say that to Evie when she is the bully.
Sugary drink at lunch. Full diapers after lunch. Climbing on mall equipment when they could just take 10 minutes and let the kids play on the little playground at that mall. I've taken my girls to that mall myself, there is a little area with a couple slides and climbing equipment. But it's never about what the girls would want.
What is with Assley's brown blush? Looks like she has a gob of food smeared on her cheek. It's not a natural blush color and looks like dirt or something.
And finally, really Assley? "Premies have short legs?" A couple people in the YT comments called the bs on that one. Your bigger twins are short and chunky, like their dad. Has nothing to do with being premature. I hope Ass won't always fixate on the girls' looks. It will be hard enough for those 4 girls not to compare themselves with each other, but not to live up to their parents' idea of how "gorgeous" they are? These girls are average, like almost every single kid out there, and that is just fine. Quit complimenting their looks, people! They are quickly growing out of their cute toddler phase and already A$T have high expectations for the "models" they think they are raising.

Have they ever taken the girls to the library?
If they don't have a Striderite in the mall maybe they don't know functional nice looking shoes exist.

14:30 MOTY (mother of the year) "Are you girls trading over there?"
NO, pay attention! The bully is stealing Indie's crayon away. Not satisfied with her own crayon, Heavy zeroes in on Indie's. She tries to pull her hand away but ends up giving over her crayon. It's easier.
