I've done this too. It's funny, when they're not trying to market themselves to 6 year olds, a tiny glimmer of relate-ability shines through.cat9480 wrote:
On a less ragey note, I laughed when Missy was jogging around the house to get her steps in. That is totally me at 11:30 each night, trying to hit my goal. So far the Apple Watch has found her missing phone and got her getting some steps in, so I guess at least some of the massive wad of money they throw at apple is going to good use. Hope she keeps it up.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Missy saying she's just a forgetful person is such a lame ass way to avoid improving herself.
I'm not criticizing her because she's forgetful, I'm criticizing her because she knows it yet doesn't do anything to improve on it. She left her wallet in the plane when she went to Seattle and left a bag with her wallet in it in Cullen & Katie's car when they dropped them off at the airport. This is the 3rd time (that we know of) this has happened.
She's a grown woman and needs to act like it. I lost my wallet in high school and have never lost it since because that one time taught me to always check I have it before I go.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
I suppose that's possible. But didn't he like grilled cheese before? He also used to like carrots. I really think that Missy is just incredibly picky and Ollie is following in her footsteps because B&M are too lazy to actually try to get him to eat other foods. They just give him what's easy and what they know he'll eat. The sensory thing also doesn't explain why Missy will only eat one brand of chocolate cake mix lol. I don't know, I personally have some sensory issues with certain foods and I just don't see it in Missy or Ollie. Missy seems like she just does it for attention sometimes. I could be wrong though, who knows.MamaJoAnna wrote:It's entirely possible Ollie could have sensory issues with foods (and Missy too, since I buy -12% of that "supertaster" nonsense). My son will eat cheese pizza and grilled cheese and egg with cheese in it, but God forbid you give him cheese by itself LOL.PumpkinHead wrote:Man, Ollie is so freaking picky! What kid doesn't like grilled cheese or cheese? I hate how Missy and Bryan almost encourage his pickiness and act like it's cute or like Ollie and Missy are special or something, just because they only like to eat crap.

Agreed. She needs to be a little more responsible, but everyone in her life are enablers.TChristine wrote:Missy saying she's just a forgetful person is such a lame ass way to avoid improving herself.

My mom and I went on a day trip when I was pregnant with my daughter and I left my pocketbook in the buggy, in a target parking lot 3 hours away from home. Didn't realize it was missing until we got home. I was so panicked and THANK GOD someone turned it in and they locked it in the safe in the store until I could come back the next day. I chalk it up to pregnancy brain but I have never done it again Bc I learned to double and triple check to make sure I have all my stuff now.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Do you guys think Missy and Bryan enjoy attempting to market to young kids? I feel like my soul would die if I had to make those kinds of videos. I think they would prefer to be more adult-like but apparently that isn't what sells. I mean, do they really WANT to buy giant animal costume heads? They don't really do it for the boys...

They also know that it’s a quick and easy way to make a ton of money and we know they love that money!

This is why she constantly needs Mimi to look after her, and why Ollie and Finn will also rely on her to care for them. There is zero sense of responsibility or urgency for Missy to grow her ass up.TChristine wrote:Missy saying she's just a forgetful person is such a lame ass way to avoid improving herself.

The one they have is from Pottery Barn Teen and around $1000, I think. And yes, I brought up the new bean bag chairs before but they JUST bought those fuzzy ones like two weeks ago and have new ones already. They can afford new bean bag chairs, I know but it's just annoying. Ollie is SUCH a turd and isn't cute at all. Finn is super adorable and I can't even stand that Ollie is clearly favored. And I've said it before but why in the F don't they ever eat dinner as a family!?
About Bryan's body.. I've always liked guys on the fluffy side and I actually don't think he is bad looking at all. Maybe not healthy... but not bad looking in my opinion. But I also think Jack Black is adorable! Haha.

Annie from Bratayley got jumped by fans at the mall in LA, but that seems to be the only place/time a vlogger has gotten "swarmed". He may like to think he's Justin Bieber, but he isn't.PumpkinHead wrote:Do people really think that B&M are big celebrities or something?? I hope this person was joking.. lol

I'll chime in and agree, especially about the enablers part. Personal, but I have ADHD and I've been very disorganized and forgetful since I was a kid. The reason why I've improved so much with keeping up with my things is because my parents pounded it in me that I had to make sure I consciously knew where I put things and taught me the permanence of the consequences of losing things. I still lose stuff A LOT, but it's better than when I was a kid because I automatically check for my valuables every time I change positions and make sure everything has a designated place, so I usually find them fairly quickly. I lost my iPad in an airport last year but I realized very quickly that I didn't have it and I knew the last place I had been so it was just 5 minutes of running back to where I left it instead of 2 whole days of drama like Missy's wallet fiasco. If I had coddling parents like Missy's (and a childish lazy attitude like Missy's) I'd probably still be losing 90% of my things.Playsinrain wrote:Agreed. Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Ollie can just wake up with bedhead and Missy will keep him home from school - she needs any excuse to not have to drive him there since it's too much work for her! Missy forgot her wallet? Why am I not surprised! She should really not have ANY responsibility - can you imagine if they have another baby? She will clearly be leaving that one in Target on a weekly basis!! So did the kids reaction look staged to anyone else? You could tell Missy must have told them to do that because they already reacted to the halloween section before - they clearly have nothing else to do but tell the kids how to act on camera! Missy had Finn walking around barefoot in Target #DailyHillBillies Yeah no wonder Finn fell out of the car - her kids are never buckled up and Ollie doesn't care about anyone else but himself! Watch Ollie from 8:55 and then look at his expression at 9:05 - it's like he wanted to hit Missy and pissed he didn't get her!! #CreepyBrat
Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
It's so telling that they've never posted any evidence of this so-called Ollie swarming. I mean, it's not the type of thing they would put in a vlog, but it seems like they would at least post a clip on IG or something. My guess is, 2 or 3 kids who recognized Ollie from YouTube wanted to say hi to him one day and they decided to embellish/exaggerate it to make themselves seem more famous. Bryan has a huge ego and they both lie constantly so even though I'm sure they have individual fans wanting to say hi sometimes, I'm 99% sure their claims about being swamped are BS. I'll believe it when I see it.cat9480 wrote:Ha! That's so funny, because during the target part, I was thinking, Wow, there's a bunch of kids there and not one of them seems to even notice the Lumps. Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
It's one thing to be know you are forgetful or have ADHD and actively work to be better about it, it's another thing entirely to just not care that you are forgetful and leave valuable stuff everywhere because you have money to buy new. That's the attitude that really gets me with Missy, and even Bryan. (He's just as bad - I remember once he left his Mac in a hotel room and they had to overnight it to him so he could get his precious vlog up.) EVERYONE has made a mistake a lost something important at some point, but not many people go around dropping expensive electronics and losing wallets left and right. Or letting their driver's license expire and needing Papa to chauffeur to the BMV. Or waiting until the last minute to get passports before leaving the country for a trip planned for MONTHS. The examples could go on and on...100midas wrote:I'll chime in and agree, especially about the enablers part. My daughter and I do like the Bertoli frozen scampi dinner. So yummy and easy.
But what's in that cart is ridiculous. It's not that hard to make fresh, good food. Heck, I even made homemade chicken lo mein last night! I would kill for their kitchen, and they hardly ever use it. I would love the outdoor one too...
