Yeah, it's ALWAYS about the money with those two. He has to make sure everyone knows he has a lot of it. And anything can be fixed if he throws money at it, right???

when YouTube is over and he's left without any money because of his ridiculous spending you can say "remember me? ... I think now I'm the one who needs to spot you."
Im not that type of person.. im a well known makeup artist in my country and work in the film industry, but i dont have a reason to shove that in everyones faces! He is an asshole and doesnt do anything productive with his day, he is just lazy and an asshole that only cares about money... i kinda feel sorry for him, his life must be sad an empty

The first five years of a child's life are the most important for learning and learning HOW to learn. Missy and Bryan have wasted away all of them but 1... didnt they participate in a program (do videos and such) about the First 5 on their channel?? I guess that was just for the paycheck bc it's painfully clear they didn't retain any of that information.
The more Missy and Bryan talk about school and all related things, the less i see them valuing education. They act like school is stupid and that they only will put the kids in school bc they have too. They have no desire for their children to ever learn anything (well i mean i guess Bryan wants Ollie to learn how to code, but fuck the kid cant even hold a pencil so there's that) useful and i doubt very seriously that they are saving for college bc they don't seem to give a rats ass about education. Not kidding either, i would honestly be shocked if they do have college funds set up for those boys, they don't see an education as important bc they think Ollie will be the next child superstar. Hate to bust your bubble but the window of opportunity for him to be a break out child star is rapidly closing and Ollie can't even say Good Morning properly, Hollywood is NOT calling you idiots. AND not only are they passing down this hate for school to the kids before they even get into "real" school, they are also instilling those fucked up priorities into their kid viewers. It's really sad and pathetic.

I honestly feel bad for oliver! He is nothing special and is loosing his cuteness as time goes on... they just think he is so special and neglect finn in a way that is so annoying! Why have another child if you are gonna raise them under his brothers shadow.. idk why they feel like idolizing oliver, they put him in a pedestal for no reason

My initial thought was that he stained the carpet on purpose so they could get new flooring. I was shocked to actually see him scrubbing it. I wish they would be normal like that more often. I still wouldn't be shocked to see him say "the stains wouldn't come out so Missy is getting the entire house hardwood floored!" in tomorrow's vlog.

They couldn't handle 100% hardwood floors. The would never clean that shit. Their feet would be dirty AF all the time.

I'm flabbergasted, but I am also not. I always knew Bryan was a major douche.

And Missy complaining about the homework and how Ollie needs time to learn how to be a "normal human being"? How is he going to learn that with those two as parents? They _are_ neglecting him, but in such a subtle way. I do agree that part of it is that they're so isolated that they don't know what a four year old is supposed to be able to do. I don't think they ever looked at a list of developmental milestones. And they pissed away the most important period of a child's life for brain development on Disneyland and videos. Not even educational videos, but Disney stuff. And if the 10-15 minutes of "work" involved in preschool homework keeps Missy from bonding with Ollie, she's got bigger problems to deal with. She's just pissed because that's 15 minutes she can't play on her phone.
Low self esteem and internet "fame" are a really bad combination. All the adulation from the minions just makes them want more, and they're completely unable to look at themselves with any kind of perception. They seem to think that because they are currently rich and "famous", that they can do whatever they want.

More views?

Did he get on the list to do Roman's demolition derby? He and Jared were panting after it. He just wants to hang out with the "cool kids".

Makennnzie wrote:Oh my. As a teacher and a mom to two little ones, a three year old and a two year old, today's vlog was truly terrifying and highlighted how behind Ollie is.

From his grip on the pencil, which was incorrect and a motor skill he should've mastered a year ago, to his inability to write his first name, his inability to draw a picture of a simple face...plus his obvious speech issues. So many red flags, especially considering he has two parents that are home 24/7. There is no excuse of why he is so behind. I don't get how they aren't panicked and remain in such a state of denial. My three year old is almost a year younger and writes her own name, draws detailed, accurate picture, knows letter and letter sounds. So many things concern me here.

My mind is just totally blown right now.
It was particularly disheartening because you could hear Ollie asking how to do something and they never showed him how to hold the pencil properly. Bryan is just holding the camera and laughing. He should learn how to genuinely interacted with his son without a camera and without staring at himself in the viewfinder. They were surprised and excited that he could draw a smiley face (but not eyes)and that he drew an "H" at four-years-old. You could tell that Missy was holding his hand and drawing the body and his name for him. And Bryan was getting emotional because his four-year-old was drawing a line over and over again? They really don't do any writing or fine motor skills practice at all with him, do they? Not only that, but they appear to have no idea how behind he is developmentally.

And if anyone points this out to them, they're insulting a poor helpless pre-schooler. No, people are drawing attention to the fact that you're a shitty parent, Bryan. I have no way of knowing if there's something cognitive going on there or if he's not getting the proper attention and stimulation at home (with two stay-at-home parents), but either way their refusal to address it is what makes them bad parents.

Spending time with the Lannings is a "great education" in how to be a "normal human being"? Missy doesn't know how to articulate her thoughts. There's plenty to be said for not overwhelming a child with school work, and making learning interesting and fun rather than tedious, but I don't think I'd try to make the argument that there needs to be less homework so that children can learn how to function within a family. She could have said that it's important to have time to bond with family before and after school. But I don't think Missy and Bryan have all this wisdom to impart on their kids so that they know how to "function." If they did, wouldn't they have been teaching their child for the last four years of his life and not just sticking a camera in his face or putting him down in front of a movie? Missy can pretend that she has these lofty ideas about her children's education, but the reality of how she treats her children and the lack of learning at home speaks for itself.

Wow. So, even if out of concern, you say that Ollie could use speech therapy, and that he's behind, you're "insulting" him? Most good parents want what is best for their children, even if it means admitting that they aren't "perfect" and need help in some areas!
And speaking of "learning to function", Bryan and Missy are very ill-qualified to teach a child. Who potty trained Ollie? Mimi and Papa. Who does everything remotely complicated around the house? Papa. They depend on others for everything.
