Yeah sure, throw money at a stupid green sign instead of parenting your children and teaching them not to run into the street! Being on the road with an adult is fine, but the girls should be taught to ask before they step foot onto the street! Lazy parents who can't ever tell their children no. If they want to play in the street they should be allowed... because they are precious miracles, don't you know!!!

My nephew is 16 months and knows to wait until he is holding an adult’s hand before stepping off a curb or when in a parking lot. It’s not hard to teach your kids basic things like that.
I live in Utah and just this week alone I saw a car parked, engine running, windows down (and AC running) with a toddler and newborn in the backseat and no adult in sight, they ran into the pizza place to grab lunch but i was blown away that someone could so easily reach in the open window and grab one of those kids or take off in the running car. And then at Costco I walked by a cart with a preschool age child and her 1 year old sister who was not buckled, standing up in the seat of the cart who could easily take a head dive out of the cart, again no adult really close by who could be their parent. And at a public event, a child walking, crying clearly lost and terrified. We grabbed his hand and started looking for his parents and when we found his mom she acted so nonchalant about it and didn’t even really acknowledge us, just acted like it was totally normal their 2 year old was lost, walking no where near them at an event where there were hundreds of people and it could take just one bad person who could easily scoop up and take him without his parents knowing. Some people in Utah truly believe nothing can harm their child. (And have to add I made sure to stand nearby and waited for the parent to arrive or intervened in all 3 instances because I was terrified for each of the child’s safety!)
