We have four dogs and they all have open access to their food bowls. Almost always dogs have the ability to manage their weight and don’t over eat like humans.
Naturally I understand others choices to have a meal time, but it’s normal for me to see dog bowls full. In fact, they better not be empty! That’s my kids’ job to make sure they aren’t without food.
Sad that you have to have a caffeinated drink to get you to want to clean your house. You should want to clean your house because ya know... you’re an adult and it’s your responsibility to make sure your family has a clean home to live in.

That’s actually not true at all. Many breeds will over eat if given the chance. As I said above, my dog would eat her whole bag if I let her. Thats part of why over half of dogs and cats are overweight in the US (as are the people but that’s a different topic.) You’re also a lot less likely to notice if your dog isn’t feeling well/refusing food if you never know how much they did or didn’t eat. Especially if you have multiple dogs, because one dog could be eating all the food and the other dog could be refusing to eat. It’s also better for training, behavior, etc.
Anyway this has gone off topic but I just wanted to put in my two cents.
This video was gross to me. .2 seconds of aria, 5 seconds of Nolan, shoving the camera in Harlow’s face to talk about her bad behavior that’s stemming from Britney’s neglect, and then praising her cabbage patch baby and talking about plants the rest of the time.
I feel so sorry for Harlow. Has anyone else noticed how she doesn’t even speak? The clip Britney inserted from her phone was literally like the only 2 words I’ve ever heard her say.
If my toddler was getting in punching fights so bad that she was chewing her own lip open(??) like that I would be very concerned. Wouldn’t just throw her in her room for a nap because creepy “frank already had a talk with her”. Her parenting skills are getting worse as time goes on. Disgusting.

I have two French bulldogs who will (and have) overeat to the point of sickness. So while open feeding is an option for some dogs, others will definitely not “limit” themselves.

She’s so proud of herself for packing lunches but these kids do not eat great. There’s one small serving of veggies, some fruit, and otherwise very sugar/starch heavy. Where’s the protein?! Some whole grains? Bueller?
