Nearly 10,000 dislikes (including mine ^^), yet people are calling her a genius ... and saying such a video is "arousing"? ... :?

I'm not sure that I even know what to say about this DIY argyle shirt video. Let me say that the shirts had potential to be cute. They were looking all right until she started adding those stitches freehand. I think that the idea was good but it now looks like a Pinterest project that went bad. I don't care for the finished product one bit. I might be a bit picky but considering that she used a ruler, I would think that her lines would at least be straight.

She hides her boys from the cameras for "safety reasons", yet let's perverts make disgusting comments on her video.....yep, makes sense.

Those shirts scream "homemade". Not in a good way.

I love a nice handmade item, but those shirts were truly horrible! I would be embarrassed for my son to wear that!

The shirts are cute, but the stitching was quite sloppy. I would've done MUCH smaller stitches.

I agree, she would have been better off using a fabric marker to make those lines. Or even fabric paint if she had a steady hand for it. But judging by her stitching effort, markers are the way to go for Jeni lol.
If it were me, I'd be putting that in the 'craft fails' pile - not make a tutorial about it and share my sad stitching for everyone to see.

Shirts were UGLY!
Why was she so excited and hopped up about the crazy knotting of the wrap? While watching that,I glanced over to mine hanging on my staircase. :? I am so jealous of the creativity!! I would never have thought to knot it all up and hang it on a doorknob.

The argyle shirts......erm...... :|

Jeni, you're just trying too hard. Smacks of desperation.

^^^YES,Trying way to hard!
And the To do list video? Some people like lists. BUT..if I could just tell her she does not need a list to cross off to feel acomplished.
Jeni,You are a good mom. Cross it off your list. Remember, what you do as a SAHM only you will witness. But thats the thing. The things you do when no one else is watching is the most telling about who you are.Stop trying to prove it to other people. ...and for the sake of your kids wardrobe :D

The thing that got me about the To Do list video. (btw hi, I've never posted in this thread before!)
Anyway, it's when she mentioned how when she accomplishes something, she marks it off of her list. But if she doesn't accomplish something, it goes to the top of her list for the next day. What's the point then? Wouldn't you feel more accomplished by completely everything on the list. Instead of just the things you felt like getting done?
I'm not a mom. I first started watching her videos a couple months ago because of the cooking ones. So maybe I'm being a bit too judgy.

I put it on my to-do list NOT to watch her to-do list video. And then promptly crossed it off.

Yes, Jeni is desperate for ideas. Because, guess what Jeni! Being a SAHM isn't that revolutionary! We are all doing it too, imagine that!!

Another groceries video. This time it was only Costco for food - she mentioned walmart but I think all she bought from there was like one item or something like that. It feels like she just didn't mention the other shopping trips that she made that week or they are eating out a lot this week because it is significantly less food than she normally buys.

Oh! and I dislike the way that she is barely even ackowledging questions or comments on her videos anymore. I read the comments on like every other video and they are full of questions or comments that she doesn't answer. She will answer like 2-3 just to say thanks to someone who claims that she is super crafty or something like that but won't answer anyone who asks about the oils that she is blatantly peddling now or her boys or anything like that. Shame shame..

Mmmm....didn't she mention on some video that her husband insisted that she take time away from them and her idea of time off was to go grocery shopping by herself? What is her obsession with food?

Jeni, Jeni, Jeni....go to a movie, have a massage, get your hair cut....forget the frigging groceries for one day. The world won't fall apart if one item isn't ticked off your bloody list.

Apparently that's why she needs her FAQ videos though, although those seem to be more about talking at us than answering the questions coming from her fans.

Yes in her SAHM video she mentioned that her husband insists that she takes time away from them because she gets a little crazy sometimes... that was when she mentioned that she didn't know what happened, or that maybe she acts a 'little bitchy' on some days LOL I couldn't help but think, yeah, even your husband can see your craziness start to come out.

She said that on her 'nights off' she likes to either go out with other moms or grocery shop because she likes to shop by herself. She does seem to have an obsession with food ... not sure what it is. I don't know if it's as simple as she is a stress eater. I find it hard to believe that she has always eaten this bad and maintained her same figure. Perhaps she was bigger as a child, or maybe she had an eating disorder in the past... not sure.

Yes! She should really just say - "I saw these topics on GG and want to address them" because most of the FAQs no one asks on her videos...

Yes!

I think you've hit the nail on the head, she certainly acts and talks and treats food like she has had some problem with it in the past. She is thin now but the need to be constantly shopping and cooking and eating is irrational. It definitely has a hold on her.
