Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 31
Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
I think Ollie's development would improve if he had more hands on activities. I am a childcare worker and the kids love painting, drawing, colouring in, puzzles, play dough, craft, building blocks. The only thing close to that is Ollie's water table. You never see him painting or doing anything to stimulate his brain. There is so many fun activities they could be doing with Ollie instead of dumping him in front of the tv to watch frozen.

I think a viewer or family member sent Ollie a colouring book once, and Missy tossed it aside with a comment about how he's "obviously too young for that". I think it was just after he turned 1?
Correction. He does colour....
Whenever they go out to eat and he gets a kids menu and crayons!

Missy looks miserable in today's vlog. How long is this babymoon anyway?
And Disneyland AGAIN?! I bet Ollie would be just as happy going to the park!

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
Bryan says they are at one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. He says we can google it and fact check.
I did fact check Bryan. Yesterday actually, when you mentioned it on Twitter. None of the lists I googled had any beaches from Virgin Islands. Maybe you should link the page or cite your source next time.
It's subjective honestly, there isn't a "master list" of the most beautiful beaches that was determined by a beach God or expert. Bryan, stop being so competitive all the time. If you think the beach is beautiful (or love your hoverboard or Apple watch) that's all that matters. Don't be so thirsty for new shit to boast about.... it makes you look like a loser.

Lol, I'm just watching the vlog now, but before I forget. 1:57 Missy leans in toward Bryan because she sees him vlogging, then she slowly means out again like she's escaping him and looks at him like his pits smell or something.
Someone mentioned she looks pouty. She probably is! Mimi is taking the kids to Disneyland and she doesn't get to go

It's one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean. He should still get his facts straight before saying something lol

Oh I think he misleads on purpose. Or he looked at as many lists as it took to find one with that beach on itmommyluvv wrote:I think he was mistaken when he said "world".HelloSweetie1 wrote:Bryan says they are at one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. Bryan doesn't seem content unless he feels he's trendsetting and the envy of others.
(It is a pretty beach, but just had to call B out).

Last thing I wanted to do was hear Missy talk about puking in the ocean while eating my avocado. I guess that is what I get for deciding to watch these fools while eating, lol

I don't think you're talking about the same spot I noticed missy moving away. After she puked and Bryan was all "aww I feel so bad" and he's leaning toward her and ends up leaning away.HelloSweetie1 wrote:Lol, I'm just watching the vlog now, but before I forget. 1:57 Missy leans in toward Bryan because she sees him vlogging, then she slowly means out again like she's escaping him and looks at him like his pits smell or something.

Like I said earlier, I think he does these things in purpose. He can't deliver a compliment without pointing out he's still better.tayyyyyyyyyyyyy wrote:lol couldn't he have at least spaced out these tweets.
He has a history of asshole tweets like this. That's why the "Shit Bryan Says" thread kinda died. We couldn't keep up!

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
My son is 8 and he'll have been to Disneyland 4 times this October. Given that we live in Canada, this is a lot. I can't imagine having it be the only time you go anywhere. I wonder if it will actually make Ollie hard to impress or please? I would think Disneyland wouldn't feel as special or magical if you've gone monthly for as long as you can remember? Maybe someone with an annual pass can weigh in on this. I'm curious.
We are spending 3 days near San Diego and one quick Google search gave me a list of things for kids to do! There is a children's museum, Balboa Park, Sea World (I wouldn't go, but DB wouldn't care and I think they did the waterpark), Legoland, flower fields, etc...
Kids like the small things too. I think B&M are so over the top that they don't know how to just be genuine and have a small and simple family day with Ollie.

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
HelloSweetie1 - Tapatalk won't let me quote you! But I totally agree! My 4 year old daughter is excited when we walk to the grocery store!! I feel like even if you have an annual pass to somewhere like Disney, going multiple times a month is excessive! Maybe that's just me, but it seems like they're definitely setting him up to be an entitled brat.
About the whole talking thing...I think the point of the matter, like a few people have said, is not that he's not speaking in full sentences yet... Kids definitely have their own time table. The issue is that the Lumps seemingly do nothing to help shape his language development, fine motor skills, or imagination. Kids who are sat in front of the TV all day develop aggressive behaviors, like Ollie has been showing, because they have no outlet for their energy (not because they're going through the terrible twos)! The poor kid needs activities that stimulate his imagination, challenge his little body, and help him learn skills he'll need as he gets older. It's sad really. I would love to see him doing some imaginative play or something... Unfortunately we only see him in the pool, in his crib, in his high chair, or on the couch. Yeah, he plays in his toy room on the vlog, but I question how often that happens when the camera is off...

Re: Daily Bums - Toddler Trapped In A Terrible Family Part 3
Missy said she won't have confidence to wear a bikini after pregnancy because being pregnant "hides" that you might have a little extra chub on you. So as much as I agree she's wearing the bikini now to emphasize she's pregnant, she also realizes she's way too fucking lazy to workout after having this kid and won't ever have a body she's comfortable putting into a bikini.
Excuse me while I fucking gag at how stupid she is.

Missy also once said she's waiting to have all her babies then workout and lose the baby weight. Which it'll be harder to lose the baby weight after 3-4 kids. By then it's no longer baby weight she'll just be fat. Missy is really dumb and should just shut upcats-or-die wrote:Missy said she won't have confidence to wear a bikini after pregnancy because being pregnant "hides" that you might have a little extra chub on you. Yeah I bet they have good state parks within reach and some national parks that wouldn't be a crazy drive for them. Even that wildwood town (with the dog mayor) they used to go to would be fun for Ollie.HelloSweetie1 wrote:My son is 8 and he'll have been to Disneyland 4 times this October. Congrats!!!ratburglar wrote:Got blocked by Bryan two days ago after seeing his tweets about his waiter looking "sad" and tweeting Zoe and Alfie about it, basically said I don't see why he needs to put down someone he has never met or doesn't know why he's sad or whatever. Sick of his bad attitude, spending habits and runs off as far as he can get from Oliver. The "never forget" vlog came up in my recommendations today and I decided to watch, what happened to them? When did you start noticing a change in not only their personalities but how much they cherished Oliver?
OT- today I found out I'm dating at 7weeks 1 day! I'm having a baby due March 30! I'm over the moon

I know. They just ignore the fact that Baby Boy Lanning and Gabriel existed.
That's why I LOVE Heidi Kim sooo much more. They always remember Adelaide. Even when she just found out she was pregnant again and they went to Disney they were thinking of her and wishing she was there with them. It makes them so sad that Anna and Elsa have each other and that could have been their two daughters. Ahhh the feels!

She did. She didn't end up wearing it because it was an emergency. She may have worn it the next day I forget.spacekitty wrote:Does anyone remember if Missy had some custom hospital gown when she was pregnant with Oliver? Some YT moms had it and I could see her being one to have one but I don't remember. If she did, that's just whatever point in the "I don't care about Finley" category. And God that name makes me cringe. Not even sorry!

I secretly love that the name reveal only has a few thousand more views than an above average DB vlog. The #lanningnamereveal hashtag failed too muahaha
