Those tests are from the dollar store. Some doctors offices use them, but hospitals use a different kind. Also someone asked how it showed positive before the control line.. if you have a good amount of hcg in your urine (which at 6 weeks, you would) it would show up immediately. Pregnancy tests pick up around 25miu... when I was 6 weeks my levels were well over 100,000miu. It could probably sit there for 2 days and still be positive lol... but if she was about to miscarry it wouldn't be that high. I don't think they faked the pregnancy or the miscarriage.. but the way they handled the whole situation was very bizarre. Maybe because it didn't seem real to Nia? Not sure. I sure as hell wouldn't be going to legoland and to a water park. That isn't even sanitary considering you can't wear a tampon during a miscarriage. Gross.

Personally I find it interesting that while Nia is all about the back seat wifery and giving the man what he wants, I think her reaction at vlogger fair shows that when she really means it, Sam will fall in line. I doubt he would have really wanted to take a break.

I think in a week or so they will just carry on their daily vlogs as usual and not mention this again.

It looks like it's further down her finger. You can kinda see it in the picture where she's holding a pillow in her lap.

Hi everyone I'm new, I had an account months ago but forgot my login and for some reason none of my email addresses were remembered. Anywho.

I suspected something shady when I looked at the video. After ttc for more than 10 years, I've taken alot of pregnancy tests and there used to be a pregnancy test site called peeonastick.com and I learned about sensitivity. The one he used in the "test" is one they use in hospitals and clinics. It is very sensitive. BUT there's no way ask any doctor that you can grab a urine toliet water mix and have the test come up positive. Its too diluted.

If you watch the video there's a slight pause to suggest editing was done during from the time he grabs the toilet water to the time he puts it on the test. I suspect he lifted a test and a urine specimen from the hospital.


Then there's the "miscarriage" video. As someone who has suffered two late term miscarriages I was very hurt by this video. Such poor acting and it was sick that they involved their daughter in a fake pregnancy. She never went to the doctor to confirm or have one care for her while she was having the miscarriage. Her tears only appeared after she rubbed her eyes (which everyone knows that's how you fake it) WHen I lost my babies I was hospitalized. I was half way through my pregnancy. They were the only children I've got to have so far.


Then there's vloggerfair. If you notice just about everyone that was there has given an account and Sam and Nia were the only ones kicked out of vloggerfair. Big flipping deal someone favorited a tweet. Why your so upset over some drama that was faked so you could go viral is beyond me.

I noticed they have boxers. My dogs live inside primarily and are treated like members of our family. They even have their own space. Texas in the hot summer is bad for boxers it's sad they don't care for their dogs the way they should.


Too bad they didn't get to have their "Baby" they could've named her Ashley Madison.

The ones our dollar store sells are skinny and short. Each hospital has different places they get their supplies so what one hospital might have may be different than the one another would have.

There's more water in their toilet than urine. And the miscarriage video was horribly acted. Then how a few weeks later their at vlogger fair and they say getting kicked out was the worst day of their lives..... Too many red flags.

The way the pregnancy video was edited is suspect too.

I haven't heard about legoland or a water park but I don't think she'd risk someone seeing blood run down her leg if in fact she was going through a miscarriage. And him being a nurse he would'nt have had her go to the water park if she was in the process of.

That's true, it's different everywhere probably. Shaylee from DailyShaylee tested this whole pregnancy test from toilet and was able to get a positive test.. so it is possible. They went to legoland and a waterpark within the week after the miscarriage, it's in the vlog.

I live in Sweden and we don't have those tests with droppers.
Maybe those you dip could work?

The tests are the same either way. The only variable is how sensitive the test is, but the one Sam used is a medical band and those tend to test positive at 20 mIU/ml

I have my doubts that pee from overnight will turn a test positive.

Wow you were 14 dpo? Maybe you implanted late. I got a obvious positive at 9 dpo (exactly 9 days after had sex too) with a First Response Early Response test, and the amazon cheapies, had spotting 6 dpo. My hcg was very high at the beginning though (doubled every 27 hours at 4-6 weeks, then started to slow down.

^ nope. I did not implant late because the due date matches the conception date. I've heard mixed reviews on those cheapie ones. I did get a positive on a digital the same day with the same urine and those are at 25 miU.

Ok I know this is off topic of Sam and Nia but there are so many blanket statements that get thrown about on this topic - this would *never* happen, you *must* do this... Blah blah blah. Conception and pregnancy is so complicated and women vary vastly in their reproductive characteristics. Seriously, there are very few rules.

Fwiw, I have a 28 day cycle, O on day 14 and can *barely* get a faint positive on the day my period is due. A friend has exactly the same and can get a glaring positive on 10dpo. So there are no assumptions.

Also chiming in on the miscarriage bit, I got a positive December 26 by 28 I was losing my baby, had to continue on as normal for my own well being. Everyone handles loss differently. (I got pregnant again next cycle)
