I'll be shocked if Katie allows there to be a real discussion. I feel like Cullen will appear like a scalded dog bc she didn't want to have to address things and he opened the can of worms. She will do the talking, he will be beside her nodding, rubbing his face and looking upset.HelloSweetie wrote:Cullen will still appear “off” and Katie will do a lot of know it all therapist talking about how they are working on things and getting better.Toodles123 wrote:Predictions for the comeback vlog?

I will also be interested to see if there are any comments like "We have seen people commenting...blah blah blah" and it be direct concerns from here.

Yep. He may smile, but his eyes will have that defeated look they’ve had for awhile. I went back and rewatched a bunch of vlogs where I had thought Cullen looked like he had was drunk and now I think he looks more sad. His eyes just aren’t bright and happy like they used to be. He says he’s been depressed, and clinical or not I believe him. Marriage problems are suffocating, and I can only imagine how bad it is when you are around your spouse 24:7 without hope for a break.Playsinrain wrote:I'll be shocked if Katie allows there to be a real discussion. Re: C&K: Same Story, Different Day. Part #16
I’ve been looking at tweets and people have been going pretty hard at them. Accusing Cullen of using “depression” to gain viewership, someone stated their marriage took a turn for the worse when they moved to the “country club”, etc.Playsinrain wrote:I will also be interested to see if there are any comments like "We have seen people commenting...blah blah blah" and it be direct concerns from here.
I’m actually glad to see people being honest with them...

Agree. I never once thought he was drunk all those times people have claimed it (unless it was obvious, as in drinks actually seen). People can doubt all they want but i think he's going through major depression that has been nagging on him for a long time. I also see some manic tendencies/signs. I'm not at all diagnosing but i have a grandmother who was manic depressive, my sister is as well and we are going through hell with her right now. I do think there have been some times when he has self medicated with his drinking, (the sunday hangover was way too obvious) but i think it was shown way less than people think it was. Cullen has lost his spark and it's been gone for a really long time.HelloSweetie wrote:Yep. He may smile, but his eyes will have that defeated look they’ve had for awhile. I don't think he's using depression for click bait, i think he's honestly suffering. I hope the BOTH have seen medical professionals in this time off, or have at least taken steps towards getting seen.

While Cullen and Katie's house is bigger and was more expensive I like Jay and Kelley's house better. Houses in the south are pretty expensive. For the size and features, I don't think it was a rip off. Both homes are all brick homes and they are huge.Granted they both could use some updating especially CK's. I can't stand their kitchen. Heck if they were to split up they could easily make the basement into an apartment for Cullen since it's 2500sq ft.

Housing in the south is NOT "pretty expensive".... out of the 15 least expensive states to live in the US (this is just a quick google search) 6 of them are Southern states and Alabama is #12... you are wayyy off on that. And also, i LOL at Cullen living in the basement.. If they split, Katie isn't going to let him freeload off her.lovingthisforum wrote:LOLeab424 wrote:

Cullen is just editing now? Way to procrastinate the vlog that may determine your future as vloggers.

Can you see Katie placing blame on Brittany as the reason for marriage problems?

What do we expect, though? They've had a nonexistent schedule for months and they upload later and layer. They know they're lazy procrastinators and they don't care.askeptichere wrote:Cullen is just editing now? Way to procrastinate the vlog that may determine your future as vloggers.

Re: C&K: Same Story, Different Day. Part #16
I agree. I don't believe the drunk or drugs story about Cullen yet, until we get more proof, it is too soon for me to conclude he would have either problem. The same goes for Brittany, too soon to conclude anything for me. I personally don't mind they are drinking at parties and if it would be an integral part of parties. Maybe it's a cultural difference, but in Europe it is an integral part of parties, at least in the countries I know, it's also normal to drink wine or beer at dinner (not in all countries, not in the country I live to begin with), although I seldom drink myself, but I love it when a sauce is made from it, which are in fact my favorite meals!Playsinrain wrote:

Just Gaines is at MDO on Mondays. Brooks only goes on Wednesdays IIRC.3BoysandaLilMiss wrote:Katie did say the Vlog was going up in the afternoon

I wasn't sure that days either and with the 2-3 day delay they started doing it didn't help

This. I’m bipolar, and I see a lot of my symptoms in him.Playsinrain wrote: I also see some manic tendencies/signs. The whole “life of the party” persona with glassy eyes and empty smiles. The insomnia, difficulty getting up in the morning, self medicating, using technology as an endless distraction from life, jumping head first into projects with gusto, only to have the interest fizzle out. Being able to be “on” for friends. Being irritable and impatient with my family. Saying things to my husband just to make him hurt like I did.
It’s misery. For everyone. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I hope he doesn’t have it, and if he does, I hope he gets treatment as soon as possible.
And, from my husbands perspective. Sometimes he hated me. He nearly always resented how much slack he had to pick up. He wanted to leave, but was dealing with his own depression and felt trapped. Getting my diagnosis made things better and worse. At first he was mad that it was just one more thing that he would have to deal with. And then he felt guilty for feeling that way because it wasn’t something I could control. And he was glad that I was going to get better, but he felt responsible for not seeing it and helping me get treatment sooner.
It has been a very long road. And it took more work than I think many people are willing to put in. We’re more solid now in our marriage than ever.
For Cullen and Katie... I think he’s sick, and I think she, understandably, resents him for it. And he feels guilty for forcing everyone around him to deal with his shit. And I think they’re just too tired to do the work to get through this.
And this is all conjecture and projecting. It just feels so familiar.

I'm so glad that someone else sees it and it's not just me. I was hoping that i was not the only one that saw it like this.Theirmom wrote:This. I'm glad to hear you are getting help, its tough. For my sister, she is denying she has issues even though she has be diagnosed twice, by two different drs. She still says they are just out to get her... so far it has cost her her marriage, and both of her kids (who both no longer live with her) . But not being "labeled" is more important to her i guess.

Katie will talk about her postpartum depression, Cullen wil mention his depression and/ or substance abuse and they will tell us that they plan to move to a more manageable homeToodles123 wrote:Predictions for the comeback vlog?
