The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Knowing Elle, they are doing the “conscious uncoupling” or whatever it’s called that Gwenyth Peltrow talked about when she got divorced. I think it involves a transition time for the kids to adapt to the divorce and the new dynamic of the household. So Dan could have started spending some nights at his parents or in the garage apartment. Don’t worry, we’ll see an entire vlog series on it I’m sure.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she hides whatever is going on for another 4-5 months. Then she’ll talk about how she had to cut back on her CAREER so she could focus on the boys and the new transition of being a divorcee.
She could steal Jeffree Star’s title “We broke up” for her vlog and it might help her view count.

Oh wow, people have been asking about divorce in the comments and she is deleting them?? That’s a huge clue for sure. But she’s wearing her rings again? She must really have no respect for her audience at all if she hopes they’re that stupid.
You guys are probably right that Dan would never leave her. I feel bad for him, but at the same time he made his bed by marrying Ursula the Sea Witch and had to have known throughout the years that things would eventually play out this way.
He is the band that kept playing even as the Titanic kept sinking.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I think people will def keep picking up on it more and more, she used to show Dan more in stories and vlogs, it will be obvious before long. Maybe it wasnt on her terms so shes still unsure what to say.
Also, am really wondering what's going on with Johanna from nesting story. She used to show stories from their date nights weekly... and lately theres really been no mention of him. Makes me sad.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Elle’s new Instagram post today was basically her confession that she’s never really considered herself a minimalist (a fraud) because she’s a shopaholic. Just because you move items out of the way in a photo to not show all the excess things you have bought, doesn’t make you a minimalist no matter what definition she gives it. She’s been hiding her shopping habits for years but we are not BLIND or idiots. A conscious buyer would never, every spend money on multiple designer bags and ridiculous priced hair dryers (unless you are a hair stylist of course). She has been playing the minimalist card to make her feel better about her purchases. (“Dan, I saved $60 this year by cancelling our Costco card. Oh but I bought this $70 essential oil to heal my troubled soul”. )
I feel like she’s pushing this minimalism even more now instead of admitting that she’s only doing this because she needs to be on a tight budget as a new single mom. She’s making it seem like the word “budget” is a dirty word. She’s got to work on these issues if she’s going to move forward with her life. I get that she’s been “poor” when she was a teenager and seemed to leach off of people who could help her (I highly doubt she was ever living on the streets or showing up at a shelter) so sorry, I don’t accept that as an excuse why she has issues with shopping. Her shopping issues come straight from her ego, selfishness, and probably her narcism because she feels she deserves designer bags (and lets be frank, she’s not very smart when it comes to numbers).
I recall one time she mentioned how she doesn’t agree/like that Dave Ramsey guy who’s famous for his money saving podcast and books. That statement alone spoke volumes as to her underlying issues: she doesn’t feel or believe she needs to budget and that she’s entitled to brand new cars, expensive clothes etc
There is a movement with Millennials to kick it in gear with their finances as you can see all over youtube people posting about it because people are in retail debt like $50-$100k! She could take her new situation in life and really contribute to youtube On how to budget after a divorce. A whole series on her first year, etc Now that would be really helpful to people instead of “watch me throw out my make-up for the fifth time” or “look at me vacuum the lint from my dryer !”
I repeat, budget is not a dirty word ! Elle you need to grow up!
Check out Cullen & Katie, ever since Cullen came out with his substance issues they have really opened up on their channel. They have been doing a debt and budget series as well all while trying to save their marriage.
Just thought of a vlog idea for Elle, “Watch me sell all of my expensive, unnecessary items I purchased and I only got 1/3 of the money back. “
Sunday rant over...

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Elle has never been a minimalist. A minimalist literally means you have the minimum amount of stuff you need. Like one of each necessity and maybe a couple of extra things that bring enjoyment and are of high quality. She has always had excessive stuff and her large house is filled to the brim with knickknacks and gadgets. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, but I don't understand why she ever claimed to be a minimalist when she was far from it. I have seen minimalist videos where people could fit all their possessions into one backpack. That's minimalism!
This decluttering should be interesting because it already seems like she's imbuing all this spiritualism into it. It feels good to declutter, of course, but Elle will probably make an entire series of videos where she explains the emotional significance behind each item she's getting rid of and its whole history and make it seem like she's the most selfless person for giving it to someone who's in need and on and on.

In the comments she made it clear she’s selling the stuff. Why is someone who just got a new car lease so worried about money. Unless Dan got the van in the divorce and she HAD to have a car, couldn’t purchase one and went with lease.
My first car that I didn’t but cash was a lease because with zero credit it was cheaper for me to lease than buy. My monthly payment was lower and there was no cash down. Good idea... until 4 years later I had to either turn it in and pay milage overages, or buy it for its original listing price.

Double post but I was curious about her stats and looked at social blade. She had negative views on 1/8???? How is that possible???
Then I realized.
She went on a video deleting spree!

People are questioning her video schedule in the comments of the latest post and she’s liking their comments but not responding.... what a flake.

Speaking of censorship, I knew screenshotting this comment will come in handy because I just checked and she deleted it. It must be pushing a button otherwise she would reply that everything is fine!
For those who can't see, someone commented on Elle's post today asking if everything is ok with her and Dan. They can kinda tell something is up because they've been a long time viewer.

YESSSS! That’s what I’m talking about. She isn’t just deleting mean comments. She’s deleting anything about family/marriage. Not just off topic - because the one about the dog she left and answered. Something is definitely up!

Honestly, yesterday I was thinking we were off base with the marital issues/divorce, but the fact that she has deleted multiple comments questioning her marriage is extremely revealing!!! Something is absolutely afoot in their marriage!

The Linquists: unravELLE...(d, ing)
The Missing Linq: a commentary (if Dan leaves)

The Lindquists unravELLEing!!! This gets my vote 100%!
Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Definitely have to use the unravELLEing title!
Thanks for screen shotting the deleted comments, we need to work together to stay on top of this! Lol

Her pictures lately are heavily filtered.
Also a look on Facebook shows she’s trying to sell the stuff from her purge. It’s mostly useless junk she may as well donate.

Can you screenshot some of the items? Inquiring minds are just nosy lol.Notablogger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 3:32 pm Her pictures lately are heavily filtered.
