Katie:Learning to Say No to Everything Except Gaines|Part 21
Re: Katie:Learning to Say No to Everything Except Gaines|Part 21
Looks like the Tahoe was a lease... They got a "new car." If that doesn't speak to their less than stellar financial situation, I don't know what does. Crappy decision.

When I was in the hospital my now 8-year-old was being taken care of by friends of ours when he had just turned two and was going through potty training. You know what that little stinker did? He decided he had to go and couldn't make it to the bathroom and proceeded to pee in our friend's house plant! I know that it was and is inappropriate, but I still howl laughing every time I think about it and so do they. He only ever did it once and to know him and the character that he was then and still is today it is not surprising at all. He was always my little streaker who hated having clothes on and I had to watch him like a damn hawk. I turned from him to take something off of the shelf at Walmart for 30 seconds with him in the cart to hear my oldest daughter say "Landon no". I turn to see him totally naked in the cart. I knew he was a little streaker but never did I imagine he was a damn speed stripper! I swear every gray hair in my head is courtesy of him. I found myself saying to him quite often when he was a toddler that he was lucky he was cute, lol!Playsinrain wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 9:31 am We live in the middle of the woods, and i grew up on a secluded farm. My kids have peed outside more times than i can count, and i did the same when i was kid. THAT BEING SAID.... my kids don't piss on the house and they surely aren't playing in it after, and we have no neighbors that could see them. I can totally overlook someone letting their child pee outside in an urgent situation (try coaching a 4/5 year old's tee ball team on a baseball field and the public restrooms are locked... "go to high grass by the fence!!" (as in the neighboring cow pasture) was said at least 3 times a practice.) bc shit (lol pee) happens and there i no shame in it, but on the brick of the house????? Come on... i'm really REALLY hoping that they have just taught Brooks to use a tree in the past and he just did this on his own and showed it to Cullen after the fact, but that doesn't excuse him of letting Brooks PLAY in it. Tell him it's not appropriate to pee on the house or the retaining wall and remind him to go to a bush or IN THE HOUSE to pee. AND wash the damn pee off the house. That's gonna be stinky as hell in this heat.
I'm not so bothered by the swim diaper, i used those on my kids well after they were fully trained just bc i couldn't trust them not to pee in the pool. (but thinking about it, those things don't even really keep pee contained do they? That was money wasted on my part.. LOL!!) Plus he's not even 3 yet, right? Having accidents at that age is not the end of the world and i think he's still doing much better than some vloggers kids in the potty training dept.

I find leasing a car very dumb when one has a family. Why keep making payments to return the car when you can pay to own later? It makes sense for single people who want to try out luxury cars but a family of four? Come on. Their financials are showing.

Because they probably can't afford the luxury car that they "have" to have...japaluvr wrote:I find leasing a car very dumb when one has a family. This is my daughter!!! She was a streaker too! Thankfully she never did it in walmart but i had to watch her as well! She walked into the kitchen on Easter Sunday at my grandmothers house buck naked with nothing but her little white dress shoes and an easter basket ready to hunt eggs!!!PirateWench8 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 8:21 pmWhen I was in the hospital my now 8-year-old was being taken care of by friends of ours when he had just turned two and was going through potty training. Re: Katie:Learning to Say No to Everything Except Gaines|Part 21
I noticed yesterday in the "pool party" at Granddollys house, when Kelly and family came, kelly and katie hardly spoke and Jay sat looking at his phone by Granddoc. Hardly the close family they once were. Its sad that its become like that because of addiction. I still think Cullen is on something and Katie still drinks a lot. They need to straighten themselves up before one or the other is arrested for DUI, and its all downhill from there.

I mean I guess we’ll have to wait, but do you think this car is a “brand deal” since they tagged the dealership?! That would be pathetic.

I highly doubt it. It’s possible they got a small advertising discount, but they aren’t big enough anymore to score a full brand deal.amf2224 wrote:I mean I guess we’ll have to wait, but do you think this car is a “brand deal” since they tagged the dealership?! That would be pathetic.

Re: Katie:Learning to Say No to Everything Except Gaines|Part 21
Okay, I watched her interview Brooks video she just uploaded and I don't understand why she expects the two and a half year old to sit perfectly still for her to ask questions. That is clearly boring to him and 2 year olds have very small attention spans. I feel like Katie just wanted little perfect children to dress up and be the perfect southern family. I just hate how she labels him as a problem child with all these issues. He is normal, just be thankful for your normal busy toddler. Gaines not being able to play independently is more of an issue than Brooks being to busy in my opinion.

Am I the only one that is really uncomfortable with the idea of C&K letting people request and pay for stories from the kids on Cameo. That gives me the creeps that they’d even be ok with that, let alone suggest it as an option.

I think it just shows that they are broke. I don’t know how they are surviving.

They’re certainly hawking it too. I had to laugh because whack packers from The Howard Stern show do Cameo for $75-$100 a pop. Some Real Housewives too. In other words, people who are a bit out there do Cameo. #Anythingforabuck #howelsecanwe exploitourkidsnutbagmcgee wrote:HelloSweetie wrote:Am I the only one that is really uncomfortable with the idea of C&K letting people request and pay for stories from the kids on Cameo. Still PRE K. Why is Katie going on abt how gifted smart Gaines is? It’s ridiculous.

She is an above average girl, and it will probably do her good to be challenged for a year. I wonder did she just harass the school enough until they gave in to her desires? Gaines will probably go to the same school as Emily in two years as a kindergartner.Catface2 wrote:Still PRE K. Why is Katie going on abt how gifted smart Gaines is? It’s ridiculous.
I thought Gaines was going to school Monday-Friday. I was surprised she was only going a couple days a week and she would have only gone a couple days a week in the 4K. Gaines going everyday will give Brooks some alone time with his parents.

The school doesn’t care. You can place your child wherever you want in private preschool and they’ll likely go along with it because you’re paying and they aren’t adhering to any state educational standards.Ducklings4 wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 12:53 pmShe is an above average girl, and it will probably do her good to be challenged for a year. Re: Katie:Learning to Say No to Everything Except Gaines|Part 21
My youngest is a month younger than Gaines. She isn’t as advanced as people think she is. She’s sassy, and emotionally very immature. There’s more to development than learning skills. She’s always been ahead verbally, but by now many kids her age have caught up to her level.Ducklings4 wrote:She is an above average girl, and it will probably do her good to be challenged for a year. Alabama comes is ranked so low in education (last, maybe?); maybe that's why they think Gaines is so advanced.
