Short answer to the question in today's vlog title: HELL YEAH. You not only spent too much, you bought very little with any nutritional value.
People are dying from this. Alcohol and junk food aren't going to help their immune system fight it if they get sick. They need protein to make antibodies, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
They are truly idiots. They said Gaines had the flu, but did they get her tested? If she had truly had Covid-19, they would have likely gotten sick too. It's incredibly contagious. They're just dying to seem relevant.

Katie’s drinking rum and water flavored drops. Cullen is drinking vodka with grape soda. Katie made sure to send Cullen to the liquor store within an hour of learning essential businesses were shutting down. They didn’t even know if it was considered an essential business or not and they claim to still not know.

Cullen thanks Brian for giving him a safe. He says he broke into it during the beginning of the quarantine for whiskey and wine and they have finished all alcohol that was in there. Katie wouldn’t let him go to the store until they drank what was in the safe.

Cullen’s “theory” is that the kids had corona when they were sick a few weeks back. This is the only mention of their kids besides mentioning they have to keep track of when they’ve had their last bath/shower.

Cullen hasn’t showered for 3 days. Katie mentions only showering once a week, saying that before, she would shower in case she needed to leave the house or someone came over. Now, she feels no need to shower since they don’t leave the house.

Katie says the benefit of quarantine is not having to go anywhere. She says she’s such a homebody, it’s great and she’s been waiting for this for years. They said not much has changed since quarantine except for their mentality and it’s been a two week vacation so far. She compared the feeling to when she was home with a newborn baby.

Katie wasn’t sleeping well when first quarantined but now, she’s sleeping just fine because she’s been taking better care of herself.

She also claims she has never watched anything other than kid shows on Netflix until now. Cullen says she only watches self help videos on YouTube and they just started watching Love is Blind.

They said they were posting on YouTube 5 days a week but now since the kids are home, it’s either 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

I’m glad we can’t smell these two through the screen. They must smell like sweat, BO and alcohol. I’ve always had a feeling that their cups were filled with alcohol, especially since you can’t see through them. I’m sure now that it’s been mentioned here, she’ll start posting about how she’s drinking water or she’ll start showing a water glass.

These two sure like to spend money on stupid crap just for the heck of it. The new video is just them justifying all of their purchases from last year in march and this year. They have an excuse for every single thing they have bought.

Cullen admitted that a pair of shoes he purchased last year were an impulse buy. Then Katie was quick to say well you needed them right? Cullen seemed really annoyed with her at times. Katie needs to learn the difference between a want and a need.

Notice how, when Katie is talking about her OWN purchases or purchases she approves of, she's justifying it. However, when she talks about Cullen ordering a fight on cable that he wanted to watch, she's EXTREMELY judgmental of him. And you can tell he just wants to roll his eyes at her. HAHA!

Excellent point. If you can't afford your mortgage and are still buying alcohol, you have a problem. There are other, free ways to "relax".

Out of nowhere, Cullen interrupts him to thank him for the illegal “safe” unless he’s saying another word that sounds like safe lol. He said he “broke into” the whiskey and the wine and Brian tells him that’s amazing and that there’s an app for the wine bottle where you can scan it in AR and it will show you all the crimes that he committed. I haven’t the slightest clue what they were referring to.

Jared changed the subject after that. I’m pretty sure he didn’t want to sit around and talk about alcohol on his podcast. Besides, it didn’t even pertain to what they were talking about. Cullen seemed like he was trying to take it in that direction and Katie chimed in.

Excellent point. If you can't afford your mortgage and are still buying alcohol, you have a problem. There are other, free ways to "relax".

Unfortunately, Katie keeps gaslighting and guilting Cullen. She manipulates him (&emotionally pushes him down) so that he 100% buys into the idea that his drug addiction(s) are the only real and substantive issues between them. She probably uses his sister's drug problems and jail time to back up her self appointed position of superiority. Their individual alcoholism is a severe problem. From their videos and stories we can see that their drinking problem goes all the way back to their early 20's. Poor Cullen has had to take the brunt of it even though Katie is a full blown alcoholic and severe shopping addict with hoarder tendencies. Katie hijacks the narrative then justifies her overspending and drinking at every turn. She is such a hardcore narcissist in denial. I stand by what I have been posting for months- Cullen and Katie belong in alcoholics anonymous asap.

I could be wrong, especially since I haven’t watched DB in even longer than it’s been since I watched CK. Bryan’s latest album is titled Illegal. He sent out some PR/ gift box that was designed to look like a safe. There’s pictures of it on their thread somewhere. It may/probably have had alcohol in it (which would be odd since he also sent it to giveaway winners, which would likely be kids.) I would guess that’s the “safe” Cullen was talking about. Also explains why Bryan would be telling him fun things about the wine bottle.

Oh, I remember. Bryan was sending safes out to other "influencers" trying to get them to promote his EP. I totally forgot about that. The safe itself wasn't illegal, the song was "Illegal".

The logic Katie has about not wanting Cullen to spend $30 on potatoes, salad and steak but then spending almost $800 on paper plates, candy and rice crispy treats is unbelievable. How the hell does that womans mind work? Like for real.

We don't buy all of those junky snacks, my kids eat peanut butter with apples or some other fruit or veggie for a snack. We plan all of our meals for the week and shop accordingly. We spend a fraction of what Katie spent and we eat fresh food. My kids get an occasional happy meal or a special treat like a Starbucks cookie. Why do they have to have cookie dough, chips ahoy, and rice crispy treats? Yet the idea of Cullen buying fresh steaks, salad and real potatoes seemed like a ridiculous waste of money to her. Yet, every haul she does includes all of the things her and Gaines "need".

They will be right back where they were before in not much time at all.
