I've never seen a child look soo much like both parents! When he's next to Kyra I'm like wow he looks just like her! But when you see the old videos of Oscar as a baby Levi looks like his twin with different coloured hair! I think the new baby will look pretty similar to Levi!I agree! Levi definitely inherited Kyra's features, though I wonder who he got the red/strawberry blonde hair from? Maybe Grandma Kathy was a redhead when she was younger. I wonder if his hair will darken as he ages.

It does make a difference. There are studies showing that babies birthed vaginally have higher APGAR scores in their first few days of life and also have better breathing patterns. C-sections should only be utilized when there is an emergency situation in which mom and/or baby is in danger.

He's never going to learn to share or the put things away when asked if they just snatch it off him instead of reaching him. I think it's great that they take him to baby gym but there's no point in paying for classes if they're just going to let him do what he wants. He is old enough to start teaching him to listen and to follow directions. In one vlog the other day Levi followed kyra's directions to put a diaper in the bin, he can follow simple directions, they're just too lazy to do it consistently. Or maybe they're embarrassed. They probably feel judged when they go to these things with other parents, because they're so young, so maybe they try to keep Levi calm by letting him do what he wants, instead of making him listen and follow instructions and risking him flipping out. But they're making themselves look worse by doing that.
If you don't teach boundaries from a really young age you're in for trouble when they hit 3-4 years old

I was howling at this moms reaction

Anybody else cringe at this red flag moment.... I don't know how she isn't more careful about saying stuff like this

She's probably joking. Do you think that Kyra lets Oscar manage bills and finances? Probably not. I say stuff like that too about my boyfriend, it's just a joke. She would have to be real stupid to let Oscar manage the money.

Re: OkBaby: Part 8
Very clear from the moms reaction in the screenshot posted that other moms probably look down on them... I think it is really interesting that they picked to live in Utah because the majority of the population there are Mormon and are very conservative. I wonder why they didn't choose Colorado because it is nearby to Utah but also WAY less conservative and more laid back, also Kyra is originally from there i believe? (could be wrong about that though). Many Mormon's have kids on the younger side (but were talking early to mid 20's not teens) however marriage is a HUGE deal so I am sure they are looked down upon for that reason also. I actually noticed that someone tweeted to her asking how not being Mormon affected their social life in SLC and she answered something along the lines of it not mattering because they don't live in the heart of SLC. The answer really made no sense because the LDS population is spread out over Utah not just congregated in SLC area. I don't really get the impression that they have any friends locally besides for "for show" youtube "friends" in other words other vloggers they film with to get more views etc. I think it is sad for Levi because socialization is a crucial part of early childhood development. They should consider putting Levi in daycare for 1-3 days a week even if its just a half day program for a couple of hours so he can get experience interacting with other kids his age. My friend recently moved across the country to a state where she knows nobody and she has a soon to be 2 year old, her pediatrician actually recommended this so he didn't fall behind on the social curve.

I have the opposite opinion. Yes Levi seems to have O's nose, but that's about it. He has red hair, and blue eyes? Both Kyra and Oscar have brown eyes. I just don't think he looks very much like either of them, besides the beak nose lolol!!wolflily23 wrote:I've never seen a child look soo much like both parents! Re: OkBaby: Part 8
My daughter had a complete meltdown this afternoon because a tiny corner piece of her biscuit snapped off. Clearly, this damaged food wasn't fit for human consumption so she threw it at the wall. It shattered into a bunch of pieces, she screamed, the dog ate it, she screamed even more and turned into Toddler Hulk and flipped her dolls pram. 2 minutes after being on the naughty step "dog ate my biscuit, 'nother one please?" in the most angelic voice. They can barely cope with Levi's frustration now. They're in for a whole new world of pain once he gets to the real terrible two stage and is throwing temper tantrums like a pro.
As adorable as that turtles jacket was, it wasn't exactly weather appropriate. It's freezing out! How hard is it to dress your child in a thick, winter coat and put a hat and some mittens on him? Oscar can freeze his dangly bits off as much as he likes, he's (supposedly) an adult, Levi is a child and isn't able to speak up and tell people when he's feeling cold. Poor kid looked frozen walking around with his little red nose and hands. Then he's put to bed wearing only a pair of pyjama bottoms. Are they for real?

I could see that, but have you ever seen the baby photo of Oscar? It's really freaky, hopefully someone has it and can post it.ilovelamp wrote:I have the opposite opinion. Really....
I'm sorry but having 2 boys myself.
15 months is too young to have time out. He doesn't even understand half of what they are saying to him at this age.
He has zero idea why the hell his parents just trapped him in a corner...

I agree, isn't the idea of a time out so the child can think about what they didmac-n-cheese wrote:Really....

and realize maybe they shouldn't do that again? I don't think a one year old is capable of thinking that way....

Re: OkBaby: Part 8
My thoughts exactly. Unless you can sit and explain to a child why they've been put in a time out then there's really no point. Levi is too young to understand . A firm no and redirection would work, but how do they expect him to learn when they laugh or copy his "bad" behaviour? They were saying how maybe Levi is just a naughty child then he throws an envelope, which Oscar seems to think proves his point, but rather than tell him no and take it away from him, Kyra picks it up and throws it too whilst laughing. That's not really teaching him anything other than it's okaymac-n-cheese wrote:Really....

Yes, that's why he was in a hurry to get in the carmac-n-cheese wrote:TotallyAmanda-L wrote:My daughter had a complete meltdown this afternoon because a tiny corner piece of her biscuit snapped off. Re: OkBaby: Part 8
I don't know if you know or have ever known someone that has had a c section, they cut through your first layer of skin to get to the uterus and then they have to do another cut, my Aunty on her last baby had a vertical cut on the second cut and was told she wouldn't have a vbackkkk wrote:Kyra doesn't have a vertical incision from her c section with Levi. What exactly did she say? She's shown her incision and it's a lower transverse cut, as it typically is. Unless she has an internal vertical incision?? :-/ Not clear.
It's totally a personal decision to decide on a c or VBAC. I don't look down on anyone who decides for a repeat c, I just know I wouldn't choose that for myself. Info on VBACs isn't always properly delivered to expecting mothers and many of them are terrified. They're not told the risks of a c section and under the false impression it's safer. No birth is without risk. I'm curious to see what Kyra decides, but think she'll have a c section based on what she has said.

I don't get it. Is she copying keren because she can't formulate an opinion herself or because she's following the wave of other YT moms that are having C-sections.amandahhh43 wrote:She scheduled a c section because Keren got one .. it's obvious .

Ohh that's such a beautiful name, and it flows well with Morales. Though half of me is hoping it's not that, because that's a name I really want to use somedaymamaya10 wrote:Baby name: ValentinaJKYOUTUBEGG wrote:Does anyone think they scheduled the C section on Feb 14?
