Anyone watch Kapri‘s videos? They’re pretty much copy-paste from week to week. She definitely doesn’t have a lot going on between the ears. Is it a teen trend somewhere that getting sunburnt is a good thing? Brinkley said it in a recent video too that she wanted to get burnt. My youngest is the same age as brinley and while she definitely likes to look suntanned she knows sunburn is not a good thing. It’s ironic too because kapri and brinley spend ages on skin care and grooming themselves but then go out looking to burn when the UV index is high.
I suppose this leads back to my opening remark…(that there’s not much intelligence)

Is that what they said, they want to be “burnt”? Even if they think it forms a nice tan, sunburn can be so painful, why would they wish it upon themselves. It’s sad how they know pretty much nothing about the world unless they see it on TikTok.

Kendal encourages the girls to lay out by the pool in the sun often and wreck their skin like she did. She doesn’t teach them anything and they copy most of what she does! Instead of packing the house and gradually moving stuff, they keep going to the new house just to lay out by the pool. Kendal thought she was doing something transporting a few of Sebi’s lego sets. They will end up with Botox fake faces and old ruined skin elsewhere by 40 just like Kendal.

Those kids are homeschooled not to give them a different type of education, but to give them no education at all and shelter them from the world that Kendal is afraid of herself. Evie going to Egypt is such a shock to Kendal’s system because Kendal’s never shown her outside of Florida or North Carolina.

But I’d say most tweens and young teens wouldn’t be able to make meaningful content creation on YouTube no matter their education, it’s not just Kapri. She’s way too young to be “working”, but she needs money for her daily Dunkin.

Best thing for her is to go to a public/charter/religious school to finish her education.
She wouldn't have so much time to make these vlogs and could meet new friends and the real world.

Kapri’s worried about laying out in the sun when the UV is the highest in this latest vlog too. Of course Kendal encourages this and does nothing to educate her on healthy habits.

Kendal’s buying her 389th lip gloss of the month; she just *has* to do a Sephora haul right when they move.

Such a mess under Kendal’s bed and in all the kids’ rooms, they are the biggest slobs ever. And they just left it there instead of getting a mop and taking a few minutes to sweep it up. Who just leaves shoes on the floor like that, throw them out if you don’t want them. Of course it looked like they waited until the very last minute to pack everything up, so no time to clean (not that they would’ve anyway). They think the house is so unhealthy and full of mold, but how much of the unhealthiness is their own doing— I’m surprised the house isn’t also bug infested.

So I'm 100% okay with kids who do not go to college because college is astronomically expensive; and not all jobs require a college degree. However, as I am in the midst of the college process with my own daughter, I can't help but think that Evie is missing out. Also, for Florida residents, tuition is insanely cheap for an American school. Plus, if your kid does decently well on the SATs, they can get a grant called Bright Futures that would cover 75% to 100% of tuition for Florida schools. Given the fact that the Rich's live in Florida, I don't understand why they wouldn't spend some effort in taking advantage of these resources. Also, the school that my daughter will attend (University of Florida) has both school cheer teams (coed and all girl), and they multiple club cheer teams. So there would be plenty of ways for Evie to continue to cheer (in a less intense and less expensive way). I get that Evie quit - but maybe a less intensive environment (club cheer) would make cheer more fun. Also, if Evie goes to college, Kendall would have so much to talk about regarding Evie's life - cheering, rushing, etc.; all of these things would be so much better than talking about their millionth trip to Target and Dunkin Donuts. Granted, Evie probably doesn't have the grades or test scores (if she even took the SAT/ACT) to get into University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Central Florida or University of South Florida - but there are so many decent public colleges in Florida that sbe probably could have gotten into (such as University of West Florida that would be close to where they live).

College degrees aren’t always worth it or necessary, but the college experience would do her a world of good- it’d broaden her horizons, expose her to career paths that aren’t just nannying, and teach her independence from Kendal’s lazy life of shopping and relying on a man for the vast majority of her income. Instead, Evie’s getting lazier and lazier sitting home in sweats all the time and relying on Cruz for a “future”. When she speaks, she doesn’t come across as particularly articulate or mature. A few years in college would be great for her, even just to find friends or hobbies, but it’ll never happen unless maybe she breaks up with Cruz AKA her future source of income. Maybe this trip to Egypt will be a wakeup call to her that she’s living too sheltered of a life? Probably not.

I doubt Eve has had a good high school education. I would suggest community college so she can expand her knowledge, meet new people, and get away from the toxic environment. Good two year program and she can be guided into her own career by College counselors. Or a vocational school path. I agreed not everyone is academic.. A lot cheaper per credit than 4 year schools. Going to Egypt, seeing cousins may expand her outlook on the future. This you tube life needs to end.

So much commentary

1. Why does their house look like that and no one is working. They’re sitting around on their phones, watching tv, stepping over things to get from one room to another. They are the laziest people ever! My kids see my husband and I work hard and they work too. They do their own laundry, clean up after they’ve cooked or baked, they also go to school and work. But Kendal and Daniel don’t set a good example for their kids and that’s why their house looks like a disaster. There is no excuse for the kitchen work surfaces to look like they do in that video.
2. Evie is probably having a great time in Egypt and yes, I hope she realises that most families do explore and try new things, take holidays abroad or at the very least in other states. However Kendal, she’s not doing more than most people experience in a lifetime. At least not normal people. Just you guys who think a holiday is driving 2 hours to Orlando and saying in Disney.
3. I don’t reckon Evie is very clever so it would do her really good to try to further her education in something! The college process isn’t easy and while our eldest has received a full scholarship (without even applying to a college…they sought her) there is still so much paper work to do on our side. I don’t reckon Kendal or Daniel would have the stamina to be able help any of their kids with the college application process.

So true. And let's be honest, Kendal probably just hopes all the girls find a man with an education/career and marry some money. She just doesn't say it. I really think the girls aren't a concern to her because she envisions them to be housewives like she is. It's really funny how Kendal seems to scoff at/ blow off education, yet Daniel's engineering degree is the only thing keeping them financially afloat right now.

I find it sad Seb has no friends his own age. Does he really want to be in cheer? Or is that to please his mother? The best thing for him would to be in regular public or charter school. How is he prepared for the future?

The funny thing about the lip gloss is it looks like she wears the same color everyday! They all look the same.

I hope her PT is working on her hunch back. Everytime I see her walking I want to yell stand up straight! She walks like big bird.

Why does she feel the need to share that her dog has accidents all over the house including her bed. It’s SO disgusting. It just shows how lame her life is. Did anyone notice it looked like she left the accident in Sebi’s room all day to sit until Daniel came home to clean it up. It happened in the middle of the night and while they were filming the clean up, Kapri was in the pool so I doubt she was in the pool at 7:30 in the morning. Such a nasty family.
