i think it looks great! Three fruits, a peanut butter health food bar, goldfish crackers and 3-4 gummy snacks. Probably more nutritious than the usual bologna sandwich, chips and a hoho snack cake!

They need some protein. Their lunch is mainly sugar.

I can only imagine that they don’t eat all their lunch during lunch because they get a stomach ache from all the sugar.

If she wants to give them all those fruits, why not make a fruit salad in one of the compartments? That way she can put some protein or veggies in the other compartments. Even like Greek yogurt. Again, it’s really not hard, balanced, nutritious meals are not hard.

With the money Jess rakes in I honestly dont know why she doesnt have the kids have hot lunches half the week, or one week hot lunch and one week lunchbox to give them some variety. They must open that damn lunchbox every day and think BIG WOW..... some slices of fruit.....

3 fruits all at one “meal” is too much sugar. They need protein to make it through the rest of the school day.

I refuse to believe the children won't eat ANY source of protein. Has she even tried? They eat meat with take out. Whole milk yogurt cups? Boiled eggs? Sunflower seeds? Something. Try the different vegetarian\vegan options like hummus or chik'n nuggets or vegan burgers. Beans. Something.

Yeah, she could replace the Goldfish crackers and one of the fruits with cucumbers, celery, carrots, tomatoes and hummus, or she could put in a tortilla and refried beans or beans and rice, or make chili in a thermos with a side of crackers and veggies, or give them some mixed nuts (or seeds if the school doesn't allow nuts), or ants on a log (with sunflower butter if no nuts allowed). All of these are sources of protein. Or even pasta salad with broccoli/spinach/some other green "secretly" mixed in.

Her kids are only picky because she’s allowed them to be. I remember in a video she made K&K, and Lilia breakfast, this is before Landen. K&K started eating and Lilia had a tantrum so she made her something else and then K&K wanted something else too, so she made them something else. Just like with the Nesquick powder. They all use so much because she’s allowed them. Idc if they don’t want white milk, either they drink the white milk or give them water.

Doesn’t that box literally have suggestions on what to put in the compartments? It’s really not that hard.

And let's be honest she probably goes out of her way to try to make the lunches look better than they'd typically be since she's posting pictures. Who knows what she was packing for them before she started posting about it.

Just imagine the vlog title if the school suggested Jess offer her kids protein in their lunches. She already has enough of a victim complex.

Addie with her RED hair.

As much as Jess claims she wants to be a teacher she seems so completely unaware about child development or enriching the lives of children and she has kids.

I have never met a child who didn’t like chicken. Chicken was all I would eat but it has tons of protein. I still to this day prefer chicken over red meat.

Same here! You can add different sauces and seasonings to chicken and you can’t really do that with red meat.

I've never seen any of her kids eat the food that you suggested lol

Her kids sit like that all the time and it drives me nuts. I was raised by a parent in the healthcare field and can remember knowing not to do that since I was a toddler. My mother has worked with countless children who have had temporary/longer-lasting physical issues from it yet it’s considered ‘hating’ if you ever try to tell a parent their kid shouldn’t sit like that.

What happens when kids sit like that? I’m curious!
