Started working on the vlog 28hrs ago. After 6 hrs Kyra gave up! Oscar continues 9 hrs ago. Still not done. I don't get why they won't take few days off! They are not able to manage.

Sorry for the double post.
I wanted to chime in abt the Kyra being a nurse. Lol sorry. She doesn't have the agility, aptitude, not smart enough, not ambitious, haven't seen her empathise anyone, multitask is not her forte. Lets be realistic it takes more to be a nurse than like babies.

It baffles me to no end why all of these YouTubers purposely don't follow the rules about NO BLANKETS. Are they all really that stupid and their brain cells that fried?! Morons!

They're all so fucking stupid. Like who cocoons their brand new baby in fluffy thick blankets??? Who does that??? Have they not heard of SIDS or babies suffocating? It's tragic but unfortunately it happens and there are things you can do to prevent a baby from suffocating by providing a SAFE sleep environment. None of these YT moms do that. All their babies are practically covered in blankets all the time. It's SO DANGEROUS and so not a joke. How do they not take something so potentially dangerous as that seriously??? I just don't understand it and I never will..... absolutely enraging.

I feel like this is referencing my comment. I'm just clarifying, I never said that you can be a nurse on the sole basis of liking babies. I don't think anyone with common sense would actually think that Lol. I said I can picture her being a great L&D nurse because of her passion for pregnancy/labor and kids, but then clarified that she doesn't have the work ethic or discipline to attend nursing school so I couldn't actually see it happening.

Kyra seems like someone who could do quite well academically if she applied herself, but she gave up when baby fever hit in high school. That's what disappoints me most about her horrible work ethic, spelling and grammar, etc...

I'm honestly dumbfounded on how they spend 16 hours editing.
I used to make YouTube videos, daily vlogs. I would vlog from 8am-9pm. That gave me 1-2 hours to edit before bed.

The only reason I can think that it would take them 16 hours is if their computer is old and beach balls (apples version of the hourglass) every two seconds.

I used to make YouTube videos, daily vlogs. I would vlog from 8am-9pm. That gave me 1-2 hours to edit before bed.

The only reason I can think that it would take them 16 hours is if their computer is old and beach balls (apples version of the hourglass) every two seconds.

I think they honestly just try way too hard. The large subscriber count intimidates them, and Oscar is trying desperately to stay in tune with YouTube editing trends despite his generally mediocre editing skills. And there's no problem with not being great at editing, just own it and have your vlogs reflect that for fucks sake. No reason for Casey Neistat wannabe feature films.

More than L&D, NICU/peds nursing will be better for those who like babies and have passion. You don't want to be around pregnant/women in labor for long, Trust me!
But yes, she is not right for the job.
I don't know much about her but I believe she got pregnant by accident/it was a cool thing rather than baby fever.Just a theory. Her older pics show that she was a party animal. lol
She's average but yes as you say hardwork anywhere be it academics or work everything will turn out fine.

It's definitely become an excuse now. They made their bug buddies believe it takes that long when in reality they haven't filmed anything or are procrastinating on editing. If it's taking oscar that long to edit then something is seriously wrong with him.

honestly, I find Kyra's videos on her personal channel WAY more enjoyable and well done than on their main channel. she doesn't ramble too much (at least in recent videos) and gets straight to the point, jumping right in unlike Oscar who does his annoying "GGOOOOODD MOOORRRNIINGG BUUG BUDDIES" and that awful face where he grits his teeth and squeezes his eyes shut ugh and then tries to get Levi to talk ..

(long time lurker here!! first time posting!) Alaya isn't even a week old yet and Oscar is already calling her by his horrible nicknames, 3 minutes into the new vlog and he calls her mini bo-goose. Yikes.

Ah! I just caught up finally. I've been lurking Tayler's thread for too long.

But when I was reading about Levi being sick around Alaya, it reminded me of something my grandma mentioned a few years ago.
My oldest sister was just under a year old, and a super happy, outgoing baby. But then she got really sick (with a flu) and after she 'recovered' she was never the same. She became extremely shy, timid to the point that if you even talked to her, she would cry.
My sister has since been diagnosed with a mild case of autism (a casual 17 years later)

Here's hoping that Alaya is okay!
