We have one of those boxes for my daughter. They make ones that have a huge compartment for a sandwich/hot dog/curry, etc. and then a couple of slots for fruit and veg. SO much better than the ones she uses. I also find that they make the lunch bags very heavy, even for my 6 year-old to carry.Siimplycraziie wrote:I am baffled by these lunches. My kid doesn’t take healthy lunches by any means, but she at least has protein. One slice of turkey and half a slice of bread? Seriously? My 2.5 year old will eat triple that. What is so wrong with sending a full size sandwich? Oh wait ... it won’t fit into your stupid little boxes that are “so on trend” those kids have to be starving by the time they get home, not to mention the rest of their school day.

I find the Ziploc section containers cheaper, lighter and fit more food.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw their picture. I have twins as well and they get their own pictures and then one together, because they are two different people who just happened to share a womb & a bday.MiloandMax1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 1:04 pm Whatever happened to the twins being individuals? I have twins and they get separate pictures. But then everyone wouldn't know they were twins.

I know I'm probably being petty af but I HATE when she does that confused face and darts her eyes around in like a scared manner. She's done it several times recently in her instastories for various reasons.

And you know she is just so proud of herself making such varied lunches, different for all her kids. And her minions praise her for it.chelsieross7 wrote:Those lunches are so unorganized too! What a waste of time to make half a sandwich (where's the other half?!), a tiny s
half serving of pasta, peas, get out one scoop of cheerios, cheezits, and fruit snacks (each for a different kid), pour some nerds(?) Into another kids lunch. You know none of that is prepped the night before so shes running around the kitchen opening 7 different boxes and bags of crap to put that together. What a chaotic mess and waste of time all for a crappy lunch.
So sad.

The red one (not sure if that's Kyson's or Kaden's) looks absolutely atrocious! If I got that for lunch, I'd ask my mom where my sandwich was. A granola bar isn't an entree, Jess. Even Lilia's lunch is slightly better, mainly for the carrots. If there was even an ounce of protein in her lunch, I might call it good. The aqua one isn't so bad, but it would be better if he got a whole sandwich. He's in second grade. Half a sandwich, some fruit, and a couple of snacks aren't going to be filling. Landen's lunch is probably the most nutritious (using that word lightly). If those muffins were replaced with something protein related, all the basic food groups would be covered. I still wouldn't call it good though. That pasta looks so bland and it would be better if there was some kind of sauce on it, unless Landen likes his pasta with absolutely nothing on it.

I grew up going to a very multicultural school so there were lots of no sandwich lunches being backed but still there was a main that was where the bulk of the protein\calories were. My kids would be melting down messes if that's all the food they got all day for full day school.

What I don't understand is to me goldfish crackers and cheez its taste the same (one is saltier) so why do they need both? Why can't she steam a bag of broccoli, maybe they'll eat it with ranch (better than nothing). And then last year she picked them up and had snacks and it was just chips and those muffins. She never shows dinners and I doubt much effort goes into those so what was their breakfast... Cereal or pancakes = more carbs.

I've had the protein boxes at Starbucks, and they only have 1/2 a pnut butter n jelly sandwich,BUT they are so otherwise healthy n filling,it makes up for it.They add string cheese, greek yogurt, nuts and fruit.Really good power lunches, and Jesss could do the same

New video explaining why Addie is going to preschool. Spoiler: it’s because she’s two, but she’s also almost three. Which, shock horror, is how both numbers and ageing works. But Jessssss still rambles on explaining it. Because she’s two. But she’s ALSO ALMOST THREE.
