Midia wrote:I just watched their video and I had fun watchcing them laugh together but I was so annoyed by Oscar in the comment of the day. I don't want to launch a debate but I have to say it: when Oscar said that if Kira wouldn't have wanted Levi, he would have forced her to keep him (so prevent her from having an abortion) to, after the delivery, raise him by himself, I was really annoyed because as much as I understand that it sucks in the situation where the mother doesn't want to continue her pregnancy (so wants to abort) when the father wants the child, she can't be "forced" to stay pregnant (well I read that it will be possible in Arkansas but I don't think it's right), it's her body, she is not just a baby incubator!!!! Being pregnant, even to give the baby up for adoption, is not without consequences so he really chocked me when he said that! (Once again I don't want to lauch a debate but he made me quite mad and "unease" when he said that)
I was thinking the same thing when I heard that. I don't think he meant harm with the comment but once again his immaturity and age shows. It was an inappropriate thing to say overall and it definitely highlights his controlling nature. I realllllly am getting annoyed at him constantly making comments about Kyra's eating and his obsession with her being "healthy". There's nothing wrong with encouraging healthy habits but he is borderline obsessed with it and its seriously obnoxious and unhealthy.
Kyra's Mom doesnt seem overly involved. Doesnt surprise me that she doesnt have baby photos. I think her amom saw them 1 time in the past year.

Hey Guys! Here are some pictures of Oscar as a baby that I found on Korina's YT channel. I think Levi looks so much like him!! Has anyone ever seen Kyra's baby pictures? It would be interesting to see if Levi looks like her as well.
BTW, I didn't know how to link Korina's YouTube channel so if anyone wants to check it out, her name is Korina Mc.

Kyra says she has no baby photos. Not sure why :-/
Levi does look JUST like Oscar!!! He just has Kyra's lighter coloring.

(I know a ton of people have their different views on pro life and pro choice) but being so young and not even thinking of it just makes me wonder... I'm not judging their decision at all! It's just an observation.

I got pregnant at 17 and never thought of anything other than raising my son myself.
I wish Kyra would talk about how she was raised and her childhood a bit more. From what I do know it sounds similar to mine. It would be interesting to compare their upbringings

That's good for you. Not everyone has that ability or feels the same way.

For a VBAC, unless theres a medical issue OBs/midwives do not like to induce. If mom's dilated a little, you can use a foley bulb to help manually dilate and even low pitocin but it's always best especially for a VBAC mom, to go into labor spontaneously. I know mom's who have had to be induced and still had successful VBACs, but knowing she has an internal inverted T incision her OB would probably never induce her as her risk of rupture is slightly higher.
For a mom without a history of cesarean, it is possible to schedule an induction date in the absence of medical complications and many OBs like that because it's "convenient".
But unless something is going on, it is always preferred and better if you go into labor spontaneously especially as a VBAC

Ok thank you! I had no idea, I know bonnie didn't have a v-bac, but she should of went into labor on her own then?

Many OBs allow scheduled inductions after 39 weeks. That's probably what Bonnie did. I don't think she was incredibly overdue or having medical issues. It's quite common to schedule inductions with no reason.
