Literally nothing has changed. Still neglecting Lily, Charlie is still in a dock a tot with a pacifier. She applied for KC to stay longer and move to Virginia with them (including David). More scabs, less hair. Have yet to see a packed box even tho they were moving in February FOR SURE.
Speculation she won’t be able to handle living with no KC or Nona in Virginia so she’ll probably move back or make Nona move

Did she really applied for KC to stay a year? Does anyone know if she was an Au Pair before? Because the contract it's only for 2 years...
Yea she’s been an au pair before and she’s only been with Vanessa since last January. She was only supposed to stay a year but Scabbo applied for her to stay till July
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if in July she reapplies for her stay another 6 months

KC really seemed to enjoy herself on the Operation Smile trip. I wonder if she is already looking for jobs in international nonprofits. I bet she could get an internship somewhere pretty easily.

Great another house she’s gonna let the kids and cats completely destroy. Hopefully she actually gets a house and isn’t wasting some poor realtor’s time like she did when she went wedding dress shopping & ended up wearing some grandma looking dress.
Can someone with that military experience briefly explain how this works.

idk but if they're buying they're making a huge mistake bc we all know Vanessa isn't lasting 7 months away from Nona

They can buy with a VA loan but it’s stupid to do so right now. My husband and I could buy with a VA loan and in the area we can get up to $600k for a house but we are no where near ready and also you move every 3 years so there’s no point in my opinion until you retire. But if they buy they can use their BAH to go towards their mortgage. If they don’t buy they can rent and do the same with the BAH. I am thinking it’ll be a rent house, if they were going to buy they could have bought a house in their home state.
She didn’t mention how long they would be living in VA so I don’t think they’d buy a house there. Especially since it’s in a state/area they are unfamiliar with and they don’t know if they’re even going to like it there. They COULD buy a house if they wanted to, but they’d have to sell or rent it when they get stationed somewhere else. If V chose to stay in VA, there’s no guarantee David would make enough money to cover the mortgage since how much housing allowance you get depends on the area you are stationed at. And closing on a house usually takes at least a month and it sounds like they needs to move in ASAP.
They have too many pets to live in military housing so they’re looking for a house to rent. Plus they have kc (and eventually Nona) and that complicates things when living on base, they would need an ID or some kind of security clearance/permission to live there because they’re not legal dependents of David.
David will be getting a housing allowance of approx 1400 for his rank in that location. If they were living on base, they would take the whole allowance (but that also includes utilities and maintenance). Military housing is so-so, in my experience. It’s not usually nicely upgraded, it’s pretty basic but clean and with a lot of storage. It’s the easiest option ..especially if it’s for a short stretch of time.
Since he’s choosing to live off base he will have that allowance deposited into his account every month and he will have to pay his rent/bills like everyone else. He will still get his regular pay every 2 weeks too.

Yeah I second this. I live on post and the housing is super old, but has been updated within the last 10 years. Everything is white, there’s literally 4 extra closets for storage, and outdoor storage, we have a nice yard and covered parking, it’s definitely worth the money for us in our area which is outrageous to rent just a 2 bedroom. We would pay out of pocket for utilities if we lived off post. It’ll do for 3 years, but yeah there’s no way they could live on post comfortably with their animals and extra tenants like Nona and KC. I am interested to see how it’ll be in July once KC leaves.

The BHA is also divided in two so he will get half with his regular pay on the 1s and the other half on the 15th. Is up to them to separate the money to pay their rent, but he was also getting his BHA while he was in Kora so I guess is safe to say she should know how that works alredy lol
he won't be getting the separation pay which is extra on top of his pay and bha.
Actually buying isn't a bad idea. Maybe for them it is, but my husband and I bought a nice house, 10 minutes from post and we plan on renting it out to military couples to pay our mortgage off. There's many couples I know that have also done this, paid off houses, and then either rented out or sold to get money back. However, like I said, V nor David seem very finance savvy so for them I wouldn't doubt that they'll be renting out a townhouse once again. V's going to learn that you literally can't plan with the military. You never know what you're going to get or where you're going to live. As far as on post housing, from what I've noticed high ranking/officers are the only ones who get the nice housing. My husband is switching over specifically for that reason. I can't see David putting in the effort, he'll be an MP for the rest of his career if he even lasts because I hear it takes a while to get the promotion points in that MOS.
Either way... I just can't see them working out in this career field. V is too immature and dependent, while David is lazy and stagnant. Just my observations.
On her insta:
“So after a long day of parenting and cleaning up your home the last thing you want to think about is vacuuming..” *insert sponsor here*
Meanwhile, she hasn’t been home or around her kids for 2 days and who knows how much longer they’ll milk this house hunt for..
Even if she was home, kc and Nona would be the ones parenting and cleaning anyway. Idk who she’s trying to fool.

Who even says, "A long day of parenting"? Very strange wording.
