Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a hous
Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
Not one shot of Hawaii, (again). It’s another vlog of them sitting and talking. Another 5 min Q and A. This boring thing was filmed over a period of time because it goes from night sunlight to darkness, yet they don’t show what they did.
Kelsey whining about not having a Thanksgiving was stupid. This was their choice to be gone over a holiday. Oh poor us, the only Thanksgiving we had was a $5 Costco pumpkin pie! She said that they were invited by the neighbors to someone’s house. That would have been perfect vlog content. See how different people celebrate the holiday! She’s on a computer all the time, look up Hawaiian holiday foods, there are tons of them.
This house thing. “Buying a house is going to help us to travel more because of the fluctuations in rents”. What???? They possibly can’t be that stupid! “Owning a home that we can rent out or turn into an Air BnB, will make us money”. They still think they’ll be able to take off for a month and travel. Mind you, this is with two kids and they’re going to renovate said house on their own.
I think Kelsey is ready to leave. I also think that Corbin has talked her into this whole house but we can still travel thing. Even having another baby.
That title is pure clickbait. They sit with the computer screen blurred and the camera over their shoulders. Why? So dumb. Big secret???!

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
1. "Nomad Spirit" make me fucking vomit. More like "Don't want to be an adult spirit"
2. I looooove how 1. Corbin points out that he wants the one item but he thinks Kelsey would like the other and they of course settle on the one Corbin chose. Because GOD FORBID Kelsey pick something for June she likes.
3. The fact they spewed all this gender neutral bullshit about June when she was a newborn then when it came to whatever piece of crap present they got her they couldn't get the one because it was "too girly." Incase they have a boy
4. The fact they just offer up the grandparents to purchase whatever other pieces will go to the crap present. How kind if them to tell them what to buy June.
5. It is probably the most boring item ever yet got to make it seem interesting. Just like the sandbox and the swing set that all sit in storage

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
They experienced a momentary windfall when they were riding on the Daily Bumps coattails. But their views are drying up and once that happens, they won’t have the social media clout to get paid sponsorships. They won’t even have the option to have both parents “return” to work because they won’t be able to afford full-time childcare for two kids considering their limited earning potential and lack of work experience. I don't think they could afford childcare for one child, let alone two. (I know Kelsey has seemingly never worked.) Honestly their best bet is for Corbin to find whatever employment he can and let Kelsey continue the channel. However, as much as I don’t think vlogging constitutes a full-time job, it is time consuming to run a “successful” channel with sponsorships and social media and I don’t think Kelsey has the drive or work ethic to make it happen.
Adding a second child to the family and buying a house are the two last things these two should be considering. Owning a home is more expensive and time-consuming than renting. Being a landlord and having income property is not easy. I personally think it makes financial sense to build equity in a home if you make the effort to save a sizable down payment and nest egg. But it absolutely does not make sense in my opinion if you’re living paycheck to paycheck, which I think these two are doing. They talk about being able to turn around and sell the house for a profit, but that depends on a lot of variables and most people need to hold on to that mortgage for years before they can sell at a decent profit.

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
I think they are planning to use the house thing as clickbait, but then something will "happen" and they won't buy after all. I can't see them being qualified for a loan without lots of help from their parents. They don't have a stable income and that's a red flag when trying to get approved for a mortgage. They've also said they have a lot of debt.
I also don't think they are prepared for the expenses of homeownership. Mortgage payment is one thing, then there is insurance and taxes and all the little things that add up. If they want an older house, then they will NEED to save their money and they will quickly realize they CAN'T travel very much.
Usually becoming homeowners means becoming more financially responsible, but they seem to think it will be cheaper than renting. Huh?! Sometimes yes, but I think it will be about the same for them—unless they get a really, really cheap house. The average price of a house in Boise was $330,000 in July. Can they even afford that??
They need to do more research and get a real budget. I really hope Corbin's not counting on BABY CLICKBAIT to bring in enough to pay for the house. That's just sad.

Wow...Well they're back down to the same subscribers as the beginning of October....! They only grew by what..50 I think?? And they've all unsubscribed?!! I mean I'm not surprised but that's gotta sting!!!
The clickbait videos are so tempting to comment on but it's too sad and pathetic now to bother being a troll.
How on earth are they going to afford a mortgage.. ever??? There's got to be evidence of no steady income and they're riding on the soft search they did for a mortgage at the beginning of the year. These guys are going to get a rude wake up call in the new year. Hopefully!!!

All they’ve done is embed YouTube videos on the website - they’re not uploading the videos directly to the site, so whenever someone clicks on the video on the site, it takes them to YouTubejmoysa wrote: “ you can’t really depend on YouTube. Subscribe to our website and not our channel.” What????
Is there a way to monetize a website? The website has a spot for watching the vlogs. It’s so strange.

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
Kelsey posted on IG that their trip is coming to an end, so I'm guessing they'll be back in Idaho this week. Of course, I do think Corbin will drag out "faked" Hawaii vlogs for probably two more weeks. They could easily do it seeing how they aren't showing much of their trip so far. I think he's been saving footage all this time.
It will be shocking to go from having use of a huge house in sunny Hawaii to living in one room at her mom's tiny house in freezing cold Boise. Corbin is probably going to be in a really, really bad mood. I honestly think they will rent a place in January. I don't think Corbin will be able to stand living at Kelsey's mom's house longer than a month. Honestly, I don't think I'd want to be around Corbin back in Boise. I really think he doesn't want to live there to begin with, but they are broke and have no other options.
What a crazy way to live!! And they want another baby??!

LOL'ing forever that: I want to hear Corbin's views on current event, I would want to buy merch with Kelsey's and that Corbin is going to be successful at DIY...that boy can't do anything by himself.

Wait, didn't these two bums recently get given a free RV from Corbin's mom or something? Have they stopped 'wandering' around in that already and if so why? They're so boring I can't bear watching their videos to find out as I'm too busy watching paint dry.
I see NapTubers everywhere

Time to start a podcast, Corbin! Everybody and their grandmother is already doing that so why aren’t you sharing your wisdom and views of the world with us, peasants. You are a journalist after all.

I want one of these fools either Corbin or M&B to spill the fucking beans. It will be the most interesting thing to come from either side in a long time if they just said what happened. You don't go from BFF's to never ever mentioning them.

I don't know if I would have taken June on that hike in the backpack. It was clearly raining and those trails get slippery...not to mention several people have died on that trail from falling rocks.
Seven Sacred Pools has been closed for awhile—well over a year—due to a landslide. Did they not look up the info in advance? I can't imagine taking a two-hour drive to only find the destination closed.

And if they insist on carrying her on the trail, is it odd that Corbin also pointed out that he is carrying all the diapers, wipes, supplies, etc.? Why can’t Kelsey wear a backpack and carry the supplies if Corbin is carrying a toddler? It seemed like a passive aggressive comment on his part to let the viewers know that Kelsey doesn’t do enough.

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
I assumed the carrier came with pockets, but what would prevent them from not using the carrier pockets and instead using a second backpack that Kelsey could carry for lighter things? You can see her carrying a medium-sized messenger bag/purse in the video. Your average two-year-old is between 20-30 pounds. If my husband was carrying a child, I would offer to carry the rest. Throw the things in a backpack so that all the weight isn’t on one shoulder like with that messenger bag. There’s no way a couple diapers, wipes, the camera, sandwiches and water for a four-mile hike weighs all that much, but it might make a difference if you’re already carrying an almost-preschooler on your back. For all I know Corbin insisted on carrying everything and passive-aggressively complained the whole time. But I always feel like Kelsey is uniquely helpless and really defers to her husband when it comes to all the heavy lifting, both literally and figuratively. If Kelsey was carrying the vast majority of the "extras" and Corbin was complaining about a couple diapers and wipes, that's another story. But he specifically said "almost all of our supplies on my back."
I would also speculate that despite all their talk about a second child and buying a house, these two don’t have the money they’d like people to think they have and probably couldn’t afford a second backpack if they were resorting to that messenger bag. So impractical for hiking.

Re: Steps to wander: Steps to having your parents pay for a
I think Corbin was just complaining. If he was really carrying June on "so many hikes," he'd probably look a lot more fit. He looks like a nasty string bean. Also, let's be real...four miles isn't a very long hike—and it's pretty flat (only goes up about 600' in elevation). Didn't they used to brag about being backpacking hikers? Even when they lived in Oregon they really didn't do much hiking or camping. I grew up there, so weekend 7-mile hikes on Mt. Hood were the norm.HashtagBlessed wrote:I assumed the carrier came with pockets, but what would prevent them from not using the carrier pockets and instead using a second backpack that Kelsey could carry for lighter things? Corbin must be starting his whining because he knows he'll be back in boring Boise soon.
