She doesn’t cry!

I’m laughing so much at that.
My midwife said babies pretty much don’t cry a whole lot the first 48 hours. Simply because they’re exhausted from being born.

Did they pack any practical clothes for that baby at all. Savannah is coming off as a dumb first time parent that didn’t even read a blog or book.

They didn’t choose the name for any reason - says Cole.
Then Savannah gushes about how her dad used to call her Rosie Posie.

Sorry for the random comments but there was so much dumb packed into a 10 minute video.

For those who read their book - I can’t really understand how Savannah can talk so much about how hurt she was by everything her dad did to their family and then name her child after a nickname he gave her.

Maybe this is just me because my relationship with my father has been tough as well, but because of that I personally would not choose a name that was a constant reminder of someone who caused so much hurt in my life.

Awh please, don't give me the "THIS IS A GOSSIP FORUM". I have been here for quite a long time now, and I know exactly what kind of forum that is. I'm just saying that "poor kid", "what an UGLY name", "kids will make fun of her", "it won't fit her when she grows up" are dumb comments from closed-minded people.
1. If kids make fun of / bully others, it's primarily because parents / adults do it in the first place, and it's called a lack of education and respect.
2. There is not such thing as "her name won't fit her when she grows up". The numerous grandmothers named Minnie, Rosie, Daisy, Bonnie, Betty, Maggie do fit their name. And so will the numerous kids named Max, Leo, Milo, Nina, Zoe, Mia, Mila, Poppy, Lily, Millie, Ellie, Allie, Posie.
3. Your parents never taught you that we say "I don't like it / it's not my style" and not "It's disgusting / ugly / etc"?

You just said it "THIS IS A GOSSIP FORUM & it is the EXACT PLACE to bash EVERY stupid thing Cole & Sav do". But naming your kid Posie is NOT a STUPID THING. You don't like it we got it, and that's completely fine, but the fact is that this name is totally wearable, and other people do like it. I have met several Posies and none of them would think they wear a stupid name, or would want to change it. It's NOT something stupid Sav & Cole have done, it's the name THEY love for THEIR kid, it's their first gift as parents to their baby, it’s her identity. We don't make fun of people's identity, this is just NOT okay. You don't have the monoply of the good taste, neither do I. You picked the name you like for your child, perfect, so let people do the same and suck it up.

But yes, looks like she wanted a dress up doll. Babies can't regulate their temperature, aren't they supposed to wear warm clothes? She changed her 3 times in not even 24 hours, and most of the clothes seem way too big for her... She is probably cold.

It was butt ugly! Id scream too. It looked like something from the 80’s! Money really cant buy you class.

I get that gowns are good for newborns... but they aren’t exactly carseat friendly!

I don’t understand the 6lb 13oz weight comes from, im sure when she was weighed she was 3190g which is 7lb and 1/2 ounce...

Just started watching the name reveal... and these outfit choices for the baby going home- r u kidding me?!?! Its a day old baby and babies do not need all that fuss.

By watching the clips from the hospital, you wouldn't know that this was Savannah's second baby. Babies have blow outs and need to be changed often. Those outfits were so unpractical. I about died when she pulled that white dress out, where tf does she think she's going??? I know people like to have a cute going home outfit, but that was over the top.

And it's actually chilly in Southern California right now. I mean obviously not Midwestern or New England kind of cold, but down to the 40's at night and only up to the low 60's during the day. I know that doesn't sound cold, but as has been said, babies don't moderate their temperature well.

Cole says in the name reveal she was down to 6lbs. If they announced she was born the next day (that day in the name video) that’s probably the weight they went with.

That's just weird. Birth weight is birth weight. It's what the baby weighed when she was born. Not what her weight is a couple of days later. What, did they think 7 pounds sounded fat or something stupid like that?

they probably think the lower weight is “cuter” because they obsess over how “tiny” she is. tiny babies aren’t typically an overly good thing, but i wouldn’t want a 9 pounder either. and i wonder if they will baptize her, that’s what that dress reminded me of. she needs to get a grip. that is a baby who wants to be comfortable. but she still does not let everleigh wear what she wants and puts her in very uncomfortable clothing. did anyone see everleigh wedding shoes? jesus, they were painful to even look at

wow that’s cold for over there. hopefully they bundle her up at night because when it get to 40 or below (32 degrees fahrenheit is below freezing) it’s absolutely freezing and i imagine that is not comfortable for a baby if it’s not comfortable for anyone older. Was she fussing when they were changing her because she was cold? they changed her outfit 3 times in i don’t know how long.

sorry for the double post but i’m shocked they haven’t tried the beauty pageants with Everleigh they do weird dances. I hope they don’t with Posie or Ev but with as much as they show her off this kinda of surprises me tbh

It was on the IG announcement that they said she was 6lb 13oz... also in the vlog sav said to E - shes 6lbs now.

That’s why I think they said 6lbs 13oz.
They didn’t put up a proper post until the day after she was born.

They probably heard the nurse say that weight and just went with it. Even though it wasn’t her birth weight.

Neither of them are coming off as bright in these recent videos. Especially when it comes to baby things.

I don't watch them, but the name announcement was a recommended video. Posie? Wow, that's almost as bad a Carlie Butler's Lenny. Sorry, but the name reminds me of the lyrics of "Ring Around the Rosie"—a song supposedly about the plague and DEATH. Her middle name is just as dumb. Do these people realize this baby will eventually grow up, but she'll have her stripper-sounding name forever??? It also sounds like a spring candle scent from B&BW.

Again, I don't watch them, but they seem so young and foolish.
