Re: DailyFinleyPotter&TheDursleys (Part 77)
Bryan really should have hired a proper tour guide for this trip....the guy knows nothing about London and just keeps saying things he reads about on his phone...he's such an idiot!
Also why does Missy have to eat plain jane boring food everywhere she goes? Is she 3 years old? She complained about shopping in Tesco which is very rude....it's not like Target is Bloomingdales...get yourself Wrinkleston!

Misk wrote:The most depressing part of their trip so far for me was Bryan's tweet last night that the best meal of their stay in London so far was at Nando's. For those of you that don't know Nando's is a large multinational chain that specialises in chicken and chips. There are tons of restaurants in the UK as for some reason it is very popular with school children and students here. London has so many fantastic restaurants where you can eat excellent British food or amazing cuisine from all over the world because of our city's multiculturalism. Despite that however, they went and ate at a prosaic chain restaurant that you could eat at anywhere in the world. Now all their minions are going to think that Nando's is the best Britain has to offer in terms of food.
As a Londoner, what really annoys me (far more than people getting Tower Bridge and London Bridge confused) is tourists being to unadventurous to eat anywhere but some average chain restaurant and then saying "its true, the food in England is terrible." Sorry, rant over!
Bish, insult Nando's in front of me again.
No, I get what you mean but Nandos legit has the best chicken. I'm lucky that I live a mile away from one of the few in the US... But I'm surprised they went since Nando's is also famous for their hot sauces? Mithy hateth thpithey

Did you see the guy behind Oli?
I don't understand why their kids never wear jackets... it's winter and clearly too cold to run around without.

Missy isn't depressed, she's just a brat. Just watch Finn's gender reveal--she was happy and giddy from the moment she got pregnant to the monent she found out she was having a boy. Ollie is the golden moneymaker child, and Finn is just a baby pushing back the date she can finally have a little girl.

They probably think they don't speak English in Scotland.kittypurry wrote:I'm surprised they didn't visit Scotland on this trip, I remember when Bryan found out he was part Scottish he talked about really wanting to visit, plus Missy has a lady boner for Outlander which is set in Scotland

I was tempted to watch the vlogs because I wanted to see the terrible things they do and because I love travel vlogs...but now that I know Bryan really is speaking in an English accent...LMAO NOPE. He is so damn predictable.

Usually this board criticizes DB for being sheep and jumping on every bandwagon / not having their own personality. (I agree). But now that Bryan has organized this trip based around his actual, genuine interests, you're bitching that the trip isn't cultured enough, it isn't what you'd do, etc. It's his money and his trip... I say good on him for doing what he actually wants to do. If he had been spending the trip pretending to be knowledgeable about stuff he obviously doesn't care about just to look cool, I would have rolled my eyes.
No, I'm not a minion. I think Bryan is as obnoxious and self-centred as the next person. But I think for once, he made a good decision.

Nothing wrong with eating at Nando's when you're at home. I went through a period of eating there a lot too. But travelling halfway around the world and then eating at a global restaurant chain is just unimaginative IMO.OhHiImSam wrote:Misk wrote:The most depressing part of their trip so far for me was Bryan's tweet last night that the best meal of their stay in London so far was at Nando's. PS: Missy got a caesar salad. She probably didn't go near the peri-peri sauces.

So, Bryan said "we thought it would be nice to have Jeff and Tal cone along to the play" But two weeks ago, he was tweeting the Saccone-Joleys saying they had two extra tickets. So were those tickets originally for SlyFox, and then since they aren't BFFs anymore, and the Saccone-Joleys couldn't be bothered, _then_ they invited Jeff and Tal. So they were third choice. So fun!

You're right, there would be nothing wrong with it if he were the only one on the trip. But it appears that no one else but Bryan gets input on this trip. Who knows, maybe Missy and her parents just don't care and told Bryan to plan the whole trip. But from what it looks like on the vlogs, he's calling all the shots, and it doesn't look like anyone else is completely happy. He's even to some extent controlling Jeff and Natalia's vacation. It would be nice if he treated Jim and Suzanne to a nice dinner all to themselves. I'm sure that even though they love their daughter and grandkids, it's not fun to be essentially au pairs for the duration of this trip.gossipingloser wrote:Usually this board criticizes DB for being sheep and jumping on every bandwagon / not having their own personality. Off topic, but I saw this on facebook and thought of Ollie and the fountain.

Re: DailyFinleyPotter&TheDursleys (Part 77)
I'm pretty sure Jeff and Tal planned to come for a while, when they took over Fullscreen's twitter after coming back to vlogging in August someone asked if they ever planned to come to London and they replied "December!" My guess is they had 6 tickets and Slyfox Fam backed out after whatever happened between them, but I don't see the Bumps inviting Slyfox to London instead of Missy's cousins.lmmomSD wrote:So, Bryan said "we thought it would be nice to have Jeff and Tal cone along to the play" But two weeks ago, he was tweeting the Saccone-Joleys saying they had two extra tickets. Sorry if this has already been covered, but what exactly did happen between DB and Slyfox, or was it never revealed publicly? It did seem very strange that at one point they were together almost everyday and then suddenly they stopped hanging out with no explanation.kittypurry wrote:lmmomSD wrote: My guess is they had 6 tickets and Slyfox Fam backed out after whatever happened between them

River: They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see the sky and they remember what they are.

Re: DailyFinleyPotter&TheDursleys (Part 77)
Nobody knows, but they were hanging out like BFF's in Seattle during Vlogger Fair. Anything for views, right? I feel kinda bad for Ollie and and Caspian, they seemed to enjoy each other's company. Although I did have this vision of them knocking over liquor stores together at age 15.Misk wrote:Sorry if this has already been covered, but what exactly did happen between DB and Slyfox, or was it never revealed publicly? That was actually kind of sad because Ollie could be heard asking about Caspian a few times.lmmomSD wrote:Nobody knows, but they were hanging out like BFF's in Seattle during Vlogger Fair. And then he never saw his best friend again. He doesn't need to socialize with other kids though.

To be fair, if Missy had any say on what they do, it would just be sitting in her hotel room on her phone, so.... at least Bryan is getting them out to explorefossilfinger wrote:You're right, there would be nothing wrong with it if he were the only one on the trip. And honestly though, Bryan loves HP. It's not my thing personally, but if you love someone, wouldn't it make you feel happy to see them be so excited? I know it would for me, even if I had no interest in it. Plus they are in London FFS! How can you be so miserable damn.

Re: DailyFinleyPotter&TheDursleys (Part 77)
Someone had asked if the Johnsons are staying in the same hotel, and it looks like they are. They showed a welcome note from the hotel manager and he's the manager of the hotel the Bumps are staying at.
