When they added the blue last week she was kinda pissed looking at it and mentioned- hopefully, it won't stay as blue... I figured then, they'd have issues with the color.. what freaks... Maybe they need to be more involved with what's happening instead of laying around, complaining, and leaving the area to go eat out.

I think once it's all full and turned on and everything comes together it's gonna look awesome.
Ollie and Finn playing in the water was so stinking cute btw. Lol

I like the pool itself, but I don't like the color of the rocks. It doesn't match their house. I wonder if they'll paint their house now?

Okay yea I like the color of the rocks, I don't like the color of their house. It seems like all the houses are that color there though so idk if they can even paint their house.
I seem to be in the minority here but I absolutely hate the new pool! The old one was much nicer in my opinion. This just look so dark and... big? It does not look aesthetically pleasing to me and I hate the grotto. It feels so closed off from the pool. I dunno. If they're happy, great, it's their pool, but to me it looks so gaudy and ugly. I like the idea of a slide but it could have been done in a much nicer way.
On the dinner subject, they used to eat together, and Ollie mostly ate what they did. When Bryan was grilling, I remember him chowing down on corn, and the whole family at the table together. But not anymore!
Them not eating together as a family is so sad to me. My family is very close, even though all the "kids" are adults, now. We are close because when we were kids we ALWAYS ate together as a family. It was our time to catch up with each other and talk about our days. No TV or electronics allowed. We sat at the table and had dinner together every night.
If Bryan and Missy once a week ate separate as a date night, I think that would be fine. It's good to have time together, but every night? That is just so sad to me. I don't see how they will ever be close like Missy's family is. I bet Missy's family always had dinner, together
I didn't watch the whole vlog today. After Bryan said they have been working really hard to make the pool happen I was just like, sorry what? How have you guys been working hard?
And they're hanging out in the empty pool and missy has her phone. I don't understand that girl and her attachment to her phone. Put it down and play with your kids! Leave it in the house.
Also, this isn't their fault I know but doesn't it disgust anyone else that they are filling this massive pool with water and we have people in America with no access to clean drinking water??

Nope, it doesn't bother me. Because them filling their ugly pool has absolutely no bearing on whether or not someone else in this country or anywhere else in the world has access to clean water. Granted there are frequently droughts in California but filling a pool is something you don't do often, they have to pay for that water and I'm not going to begrudge anyone else the right to fill up a pool, do you know how many people have pools?

The only reason it bothers me is that they had a perfectly good pool and drained it, and dug it up. So along with the obvious waste of money, (and _who's_ been working really hard to get the pool ready?) it was a waste of water too.

Fair enough, I'm just saying other people's access to clean water has little to do with my annoyance at their pool.

Well, if you read what I said, I wasn't faulting them. Just seeing all that water made me think about the people who don't have clean drinking water and how sad it is.

Outdoor kitchen area. Supposedly that was the original idea that Bryan wanted when they got rid of the illegal storage shed/carport thing. Then they said that Missy was the one who wanted that extravagant pool. Let's see how much grilling and cooking outside they are going to actually do that doesn't include parties and special occasions/holidays.
"I can't believe we are finally filling up our pool!" "We've been waiting a really long time" "We've been working really hard to make this happen"
OK. First of all, they had a perfectly nice pool. It hasn't been_that_ long. Half the time, they were on vacation. And THEY didn't do any of the work. And that BS about naming every animal in the pool. Even my daughter was yelling at the TV. "They're not pets!"
Watched the vlog (which is rare lately because I can't stand them) so that place on top of the rocks scares the heck out of me, Missy pretending to jump in from that area while Ollie was watching, I can see lots of accidents from the kids climbing up there and jumping off into the pool!
