Oh my gosh hahahahahaha! I didn't even notice she mounted the tripod to the cart when I first watched the video lol!!!!!!! I did notice how she was walking SUPER leaned forward past those mirrors though. Trying to get the right body angle. Haha!
Just think of how many times she walked past there to make sure she had enough footage tp find one whete her body looked how she wanted

Idk I found that a little strange we hispanics don't normally do that and if we do it's usual a flag from where our parents are from lol

Also, you know, Vanessa is an individual and only does what other YouTube moms are doing, not what other members of her ethnicity may or may not do.
In the thumbnail of her "Charlie gets a crib" video Charlie literally looks the same size as my 2 month old. I know I've commented on this before but his arms are like twigs.
I'm sorry, but I can't get over it. That can't be normal. I'm sure he's relatively healthy but damn!
wendydarling wrote:I can hear him screaming literal bloody murder at the 5:10 part where she's yapping and showing the crib for a minute
I went back to watch this part & could definitely hear it. Then it cuts to him sleeping in bed and Benny's bark startles him. You can tell he's going to go right back to sleep... except Vanessa is just leaning over him like a psychopath with a camera in his face and the light on. Then it jumps cut to her STILL leaning over recording him. Then he clearly is forced to wake up. THEN Vanessa vlogs herself and says that Charlie is awake because of benny. Ummmm no. He's awake because you were all up in his face with a camera. Let the boy live, girl. Damn! Ha
I'll admit, I used to enjoy watching Vanessa. Around 2014-2016 (right before she got married/pregnant). Now she's just super fucking weird. Every vlog she gets more and more strange. I do believe she reads here & tries to 'please' or 'prove everyone wrong' that comments about her behavior. And it just backfires. Badly. I feel sorry for her. She clearly has a very dependent and needy/people pleaser personality.

If anyone here doesn't know who Steve Perry or Jodi Arias is, just google them, you'll see exactly what I mean.

Right?! He didn't even seem interested in it. She just kept spooning it in his mouth. That poor kid! She probably sits and shovels it in his mouth multiple times a a day.
Remember, she spoon fed lily until she was basically 4 years old. Her and Nona would stick big ass bites of food in her mouth all the time. So sickening.
urusha90 wrote:Hasnt she been feeding him rice cereal for over a month now? And he still spits it out? Is this normal? My kids stoped doing that after like a week.
Yes, it's normal. Especially since he isn't even 6 months old yet. Babies shouldn't be fed solids until they can sit up unassisted (Charlie cant), no longer have the tongue thrust reflex (spitting out food-- obviously Charlie still has it), shows an interest in mealtime (Charlie obviously appeared to be interested in anything but the spoon), and has a pincer grasp (I've never witnessed it in a vlog-- he can barely grab a big toy on his own).
Some babies don't meet all of these until 6-8 months. Which is totally normal! Introducing foods before a baby is ready is detrimental. And obviously Charlie has been receiving rice cereal (which has no nutritional benefit whatsoever) for awhile now.
I just don't understand how Vanessa can mess up so often. I'm sure she's annoyed and stressed out with Charlie's never ending incessant crying, but he's developing and growing very slowly. He's not taking well to the cereal, yet she's still shoving it into his mouth. She really is clueless and oblivious.
I have tried so hard to not criticize Vanessa, but the cereal is seriously bugging me. I haven't followed her long enough, but does she still breastfeed? Why hasn't she just tried formula if supply is an issue? I am so confused.

She refuses to admit that she's having trouble breastfeeding/with her supply. She likes to brag that he is "EXCLUSIVELY breastfed," even after she started feeding him cereal....yeah, makes no sense. Her pride is more important than making sure her child is fully fed.
My daughter was just like Charlie. She was skinny, long ! I dont know how long he is tho. She had no chunks whatsoever. She was exclusively breastfed upto 6 months. She was well within percentile for weight and pretty high for height. But she was by no means underweight. She was and still is a very active kid. I had an ample milk supply so just because a baby is on the lean side does not automatically mean breastfeeding is the issue. Some babies are lean. Doesn't mean anything. Of course if they are underweight then that's a whole different story.
I think what people are getting at is he seems to have almost dropped percentiles. I can't remember what he was born at but I'm pretty sure it was higher than the 10th centile?
He does look very small to me but both of mine have been very chunky babies.
Yes, its the percentile that worries me. He could fall behind in his physical development not being able to hold his head up because he is so skinny at this age.
As a parent of a skinny one, if my child was bordering that low i would be worried. I wouldnt feed cardboard to my kid but I did start pumping and shove bottles in her mouth til she was full. Then put her on the breast to activate some more supply!
I have a skinny daughter and there was no way she could be put in a schedule when breastfeeding. Her metabolism was so fast she would cluster feed for the first 6 months! Constantly! She drank quuckly too so she didnt get much hind milk and so I would pump and fet her on to get that hind (fatty) milk. (I wish I could share pictures!)
I was a shell of myself and so so skinny (weightloss V[WINKING FACE]) but i figured it out when she took 2 bottles of pumped milk a half hour after i breastfed her, so 4 ounces at 2 weeks old! I had no knowledge and googled the shit out of breastfeeding and contacted my lll chapter. I was told from family to feed cereal and felt like I was in the 80s. Watch Milky Way the movie on breastfeeding in America, get inspired.
Please V, get support for Charlie, rice cereal has no nutrition and his brain could soak up so much more at this tender age of development! I despise formula but it is better than rice cereal from what I have read and got advice about. Or better yet donor breastmilk if you cant pump. Dont tell YouTube, just try it. Sending love and prayers, [HEAVY BLACK HEART][HEAVY BLACK HEART]
Sorry guys, Im actually worried since seeing Charlie struggle to sit, maybe its just lack of practice but the same with walking will be delayed if he cant hold his heads weight.
