Lol if she can afford that then why does she have to deprive her kids of clothes that they actually need and not make them work for it. I hate how she keeps forcing the idea that her kids have to “earn” their belongings. I understand that they have to learn the essence of hard work but she doesn’t have to make it seem like they have to provide for themselves. My gosh they’re still kids

Agreed. I’m all for teaching your kids that they need to earn things that they want (a phone for example) but they shouldn’t have to earn the things that they need. Clothing is a necessity not a luxury.

THIS IS SO TRUE. I literally cringed when they showed it

Sorry, I was asking about the quote above, the part where she showed how much she paid, not the Instagram post. I think we posted at the same time and I messed up the quote tree and wasn't clear.

Shari drives me nuts. As the oldest in my family, I kind of get her but also hope I never came off like that. She acts so entitled being the oldest and Ruby plays in to it. She acts like she has five years on Chad. It drives me nuts when she refers to everyone else as "the kids" as if she's not one herself (although I have heard Abby and Chad refer to the younger ones like this as well). Once my brother was old enough to ride in the front seat, we had to take turns. In her defense though, she probably had to do a lot of growing up much quicker than the others as she suffered through all those super poor years helping to mother the endless stream of babies. The younger kid's have had it much easier compared to Shari.
Also, I'm glad she talked about her haircut. At least she's aware it looks a mess.
And I will tell you what, if I would have been talking to my mom the way they were, she would have made us walk home lol, we also took turns. She has been acting a little bratty however, I thank my lucky stars that my finest teenage moments weren't caught on camera. (not excusing her, my parents didn't put up with it, if I wanted to act that way then I got to sit in my room or miss hanging out with friends)

Well kids shouldn't have to earn clothes but Chad is getting older. She is making him save for his own clothes because he completely lost his expensive winter coat being careless.
It's partly Ruby's and Kevin's fault. Even though it's gone too far today I don't agree with how they were raised before either, it used to anger me and make me uncomfortable to watch how the kids were treated at times.
Anyways, their kids used to be well mannered and scared of Ruby as hell but since she turned into this FUN youtube-mother-character every behaviour became okay as long as it gave them footage. The kids obviously looked confused at first incl. Chad and Shari but when they realised that this new youtube mother was their "new real" mommy as well they had no choice than to join the new adventure of youtube life. A life with no guidance, rules or discipline when behaving badly towards others in public instead the bad behaviour has been encouraged and rewarded with laughters at times. There's nobody giving the kids a line between reality and youtube life so they've been taking it as far as they can as children will do until some responsible adult steps in and puts an end to it which Ruby hasn't for the past two years since they started making big money.
I'm honestly sickened at them. they are indeed abusive parents. they are illegally advertising products. they filmed someone else child, without his or his parents permission, and there own child for the sake of advertising some headphones. and also this is 2017 not 1980s. why are they making these cheesy infomercials, and what kinds of 12 year old is going to buy that crap anyway. i did report the video. I'm so sick of children today not having a healthy upbringing and parents getting away with abusing childrens rights of privacy for there financial gain. its so sick. if god were real and there really want some greater place, they are not going there i tell you that.
Didn’t YouTube kids set out new rules and one of them is to “don’t ask kids to buy things”.... does this fall under that? In description she has a link that says “to purchase blah blah headphones” and will these youtubers have to stop promoting their march?
And wouldn't "buy our merch" be considered asking kids to buy things? I wonder about this new rule, because Bryan asks viewers to buy stuff all the time-- his music being the most glaring example.

Yes, and the following verse-- Matthew 6:3 (one of my parents' favorites) When you do good deeds, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your giving may be in secret. Your Father in heaven who sees all, will reward you.

You sound a bit extreme.
imagine if that were you child at their house, and some lady was filming your son for an advert without you aware of this. would you be ok with that? I'm not extreme. im fed up with how adults are supposed to be an example to the next generation, and there detroying them with message of greed, and dishonestly. The next kids are going to be a bunch of mess ups because of this. I'm also i strong believe in rights. rights of privacy and respect for others around. because we already have to share a planet with 7 billion people + so atleast respect the small ammount of privacy that is left. exploiting children is the sickest thing today.
Ok why does Ruby have to talk about giving the miscarriage book to someone? Why couldn’t she do something nice for someone without announcing it to the world? I wasn’t going to put it past her if she filmed the person who recently miscarried.
Is it just me or does Russell look super young/tiny in that picture?? I know they are a super short family but still...I'd never peg him for 6 based off that.
Why is ruby forcing her kid to upload on social media? Talk about exploitation. You can tell she posts on abbeys Instagram too, they shouldn’t be even allowed social media. Look at this creepy comment
What is it? My internet is bad so I can't see the pic.
